"Alright," Glory replied. She stayed snuggled next to him. "Well, I told you I had been considering the name Autumn..." And she still wanted his opinion on it. Last time she mentioned it, it had sparked an argument. They had been having a lot of arguments lately.

Léan's brow furrowed, slightly. He didn't quite know how to word his answer, so he just muttered a few things under his breath, making sure she could hear. "I don't know about it...I don't dislike it, but it doesn't have a ring to it for me..."

"Well, then, what about the name Orion for a boy?" Glory suggested. She would definitely go back to the female name again eventually. She was kind of fond of it.

"That sounds fine to me..." There were very few names that Léan was really fond of. He didn't even like his own name all that much--his brother's name was much more appealing to him.

"I want an honest opinion," Glory replied. She liked the names Autumn and Orion, if they were having one of each. They still needed two more names, though, just in case. "What about Andromeda?"

Léan frowned at her. "Fine. I like the last one. This one is all right, but still doesn't have that ring to it..." He was no good at coming up with names, but he did know when he liked one or not. Orion was a nice name to him.

"So definitely the name Orion, if at least one of them is male," Glory said. She could agree to that, she liked the name. "We still need another male name... and a pair of female names you like. Though I still like Autumn."

Léan nodded, idly. He would have to warm up to Autumn as a name. It didn't have that special ring to it, he didn't think...at least, not yet. Unfortunately, he was still drawing a blank and couldn't think of any names he deemed acceptable...

Glory thought for a moment, trying to find another male name.
"What about Castor?" she finally asked. She thought it was fitting, since Castor was the name of one of the twins of Gemini, at least from mythology. |
Léan tilted his head slightly, as he thought. "...That name, I like," he offered, nodding firmly. He was rather puzzled as to why he liked it...but it just rang with him.

Glory smiled a bit.
"Castor is a name from Greek myth," she explained. "Castor and Pollux are the twins who make up the constellation Gemini." |
Léan nodded, vaguely remembering hearing that somewhere before. If there was one human culture merpeople were fond of and semi-versed in, it was Greek culture.

"Orion and Andromeda are names I pulled from Greek mythology, too," Glory said softly. "I'm sure I could find more... Callisto, maybe, or Cassandra..." There weren't all that many other names she was find of, but she was sure she could find something.

"All right." Léan suddenly seemed to be feeling the weight of the conversation--he appeared to be drifting off. "I'm falling asleep..." he half-complained, stretching his legs out slightly.

"Go on to sleep, then," Glory replied. She would probably drift off to sleep soon, as well.

Léan nodded, cuddling a bit closer to her. He didn't seem to mind the contact at all--a good sign, since that meant he was in no way angry with her over their tiny argument today.

Glory cuddled closer to him, tucking herself under his arm so that it draped across her waist. She was glad for the contact, it was comforting after the argument earlier. She desperately hoped that they wouldn't argue anymore... but she had the distinct feeling that they would.

Léan got the impression that all parents argued, over every single little thing. Even if it was a trifle matter. He hadn't been raised in the most comforting of parental households, so he didn't really know whether or not all was supposed to be peaceful. He was content to just cuddle with her for now as he drifted off into an uneasy sort of sleep.

Glory stayed close, letting her mind wander. She didn't fall asleep quiet yet. She was more distracted by the movements of the twins. They were starting to get stronger, which both surprised her and didn't at the same time. After all, there were only four or five more weeks before they were born... She gradually drifted off to sleep after a while.

Léan was able to sleep soundly this time through. When he woke up a few hours later, he felt much better and his headache had vanished. He simply laid in bed, patiently waiting for her to wake up.

Glory woke up a little while after he did. She was snuggled comfortably with him, though, and didn't feel like moving.
"Did you sleep well?" she murmured to him. |
"For once," Léan mumbled in response, his eyes still closed. He was quite comfortable where he was, as well. He knew they were going to have to get up to check on Viktor again--they couldn't have him dying in the living room. "Did Viktor contact Curry, yet...? Curry might be able to take him in..."

"I can go out and ask," Glory replied. She knew she should check on Viktor, but she still didn't want to get up. Reluctantly, she sat up.

Léan sat up, as well--his back cracked as he did so. "Aahh...for some reason, that felt good..." he murmured, swinging his legs over the side of the bed. "I'll go with you..."

It took some effort, but Glory managed to stand up on her own. She took his hand gently.
"Come on, then," she said. |
