Roadtrip to Crystal City
On a busy traffic clutter road we sat and waited while the dark clouds that enclosed behind us were merely evaded And somtimes we sit and stare at the city before us Floating upside down in air I can't help but be scared of it Mom just smiles and drives for miles while dark clouds approach before us I rather be the one to drive backwards towards the light instead of inside or beyond it This poem was inspired by a nightmare I had about a city made of crystal and hanging upside down in the sky. Not sure what it meant, but I thought it was interesting enough to share... |
