People are always going to get upset about stuff, but it doesn't always have to turn into a BIG F*ING DEAL! And certainly, it doesn't have to get dragged into that thread and that thread and that thread. -_-; Come on.

Anyway, I think it was inevitable that onemanga got taken down, just as it is inevitable that manga fox and the others will follow. After all, they are making profit from stuff they don't own.

Well, they put up scans of manga that they don't own, and put up advertising all over their sites. Onemanga was one of the top 1,000 websites according to google, so they were getting massive massive hits. All of that money certainly wasn't going to support the site. Someone was making a lot of money considering that they don't even scanlate the manga, they just take it from elsewhere and post it!

@Wifey - Because it's the biggest. I'm sure the smaller ones will follow soon. Not that that's the end of scanlations or anything. It's just the end of big giant aggregating sites, unless the manga publishers start doing something similar with a subscription like Crunchyroll.

I'm just annoyed because it was convenient. Otherwise, I don't really care. They were ripping people off. Not only were they ripping off the mangaka and publishers, but they were ripping off the people who make those scanlations for free. They were making money off the hard work of dozens of other people. Why should they get to keep doing that?

I might get frost bite if I love Kiako...reminds me of a comic, but I can't show Kiako on Mene....
