Yeah, when I saw him in Lord of the Rings I was all "*gasp* Real life Bishounen really do exist! *swoon*" :heart:

And he had a really horrible back injury if I remember correctly, he broke his back when he was younger, but he healed up and kept fighting and got into acting. He even does actiony stuff in Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean! So I just can't hate him.

I haven't liked any of the X-Men movies. -_-; I've watched them all, but none of them were good. =/

Because I've read the comics I suppose. And I used to watch the old cartoon. The characterization was horrible with them aging down the characters and trying to modernize them. They just weren't the characters I enjoyed. Having Patrick Stewart as Professor X was great! Having Hale Berry as storm was awful. Mixing Rogue in with Jubilee for that first movie was super lame.

And then there's other stuff, like in whichever movie it was with the bridge scene where it went from day to night instantly. Or how they randomly killed off Scott off screen because he got cast in another movie. Lots of stuff to not like about it.

@Zeap - Other than the concept of a mutant super hero team, most of that stuff didn't happen in the comics. Granted, there's years and years of canon, and it is an adaptation. It's just, getting the characterizations right would have been better. Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was also ok. And Kelsey Grahmar as the Beast. But yeah, still too much stupid stuff for me to enjoy.

@Zeap - It's ok. Not to sound cynical or anything, but I pretty much expect that from most movies. It seems rare when one really blows you away!
