I actually made a cake couple days ago. For one of my mom's parties.

I had a nightmare that nobody would eat the cake. :gonk:

My brother's girlfriend wouldn't try it because it had Guinness in it, but you don't really taste it. It's a yummy cake! I think I have a complex. I gave my neighbors a slice of the cake last time I made it and then when I went over to babysit their kids, the cake slice was sitting out on the counter, hard and inedible. They hadn't even tried it. =/

It is delicious. It's rich and addictive! I mean, other people not eating the cake leaves more for me, but I want them to try it dangit!

Well, the only reason most guys diet is for health reasons.

When we were younger, my mom joined a gym and started taking health supplements like protein powders and my brothers sort of got into it, like it's some sort of magical svelt sex machine powder :rofl: A few years ago. mom worked for a health club and got that crap on sale so my brothers would use it, but never know the science behind it or why they'd take it. Boys are idiots.

Mom isn't too awesome on the diet front either. Every time she gets it in her head to diet, she goes out and buys random weird stuff. Like almond milk and coconut water. This time around she bought ground turkey. Don't get me wrong, I really like a good roasted turkey, but it's a tricky bird to flavor and when you grind it, you completely take away any texture it had. So ground turkey meat is like a tasteless textureless lump of ew.

I agree completely with you on diets. They don't work. You have to eat healthier and be more active all the time, not just a quick binge diet. Smarter choices. That's it.

@Wifey - I like ground beef. I like hamburgers and tacos and meatloaf. But beef tends to have more texture, where as turkey meat is really soft and mushy.

@Cookie: Ewww. on both things. XD

Cookie: Eww to the dog pee. And Yum cause I love hamburgers. XD

Our Senior Dog is torturing me to death with her senility! All this pee and poo in the house. I can't take it anymore x_x But mom doesn't want to put her to sleep. She says she feels bad. She says "If Grandma started wetting herself, would you put her to sleep?" But it's different, because Grandma's a human being! Besides, Grandma already has "accidents" sometimes, but at least she cleans hers up and doesn't drink them! x_x
