white2fire 08-13-2010 05:38 AM

Cookie's on! I'm on! Yay! :glomp:
So....how is Cookie? :heart:

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:41 AM

I'm ok. I'm just reading some news articles, ranting about my mom. The usual :rofl:

How is Wifey?

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:43 AM

What'd your mom do this time? :hug:

Wifey is good, all things considered.
But....I'm getting sleepy. :gonk:

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:46 AM

She's just being selfish. Lately she's on this kick about how nobody buys her new stuff and she never gets new stuff, which is completely ridiculous. She's constantly buying herself all sorts of stuff. But somehow, if it's not a brand new purchase of some big fancy item, like a bedroom set or dining room set or a car, her life is incomplete because nobody is spoiling her. It's completely ridiculous! I swear! I suggested she buy a refurbished computer for a reasonable price and she flips out because nobody thinks she deserves new things.

*hugs Wifey*

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:47 AM

...your mom is silly. It's new to her. XD

*gives you a piece of cheesecake*

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:50 AM

Yeah. Refurbished stuff can be like new! My zune and my netbook were refurbished and they were both in perfect condition. If I hadn't known before hand that I was buying refurbs, I never would have guessed. The zune came in all new packaging and everything. The netbook came in a no frills box with a paper saying it was a refurb, but still, no scratches or wear and tear. It's a smart way to buy electronics when you don't want to spend a lot. Besides, she barely knows how to check her email. She doesn't need a brand new fancy computer with Windows 7. She'd be completely lost. A decent refurb with Windows XP for $150 is perfect for her.

*noms cheesecake* :drool:

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:51 AM

Yeah, she doesn't need a fancy computer. *shakes head*

Good isn't it? :twisted:

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 05:53 AM

*looks around* Oh hey I came in at a good time :D

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:53 AM

MAR-MAR! *massivetackleglomp*

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:53 AM

Exactly! All she'll ever use it for is the internet and even then she'll barely tap any of its potential. She doesn't need something big and expensive that she won't even make the effort to learn how to use! But then, she's never been good with thinking logically. She just taps right into her emotions and goes off.

MarMar! *glomps*

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 05:54 AM

*hugs both* Hiii <3 I don't wanna get you guys sick so luckily you're protected by a computer screen firewall : )

Who are we talking about?

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:55 AM

Don't worry MarMar, My anti-virus will take care of your nasty germs :rofl:

I'm complaining about my selfish mother. :P

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 05:55 AM

Oh. I thought the description sounded familiar. ^_^

YEY ANTIVIRUS!...Now if that helped get the germs off of me.

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:56 AM

@Cookie: >_<
Course, I tap into emotions sometimes, but not always.

@Mar-mar: Oh noes! You can't be sick.
Hm...what can make you better... *ponders*

Yep. We're talking about Cookies infamous mom. XD

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 05:57 AM

She IS infamous! Super infamous that it shouldn't even be legal for someone that doesn't use the internet XD

So Wifey where have you been all my life?

white2fire 08-13-2010 05:58 AM

@Mar-mar: :rofl:

Hey! Those are my lines! XD

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 05:59 AM

Which part?

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 05:59 AM

XD My Infamous mom *shakes head* I'd be so much happier to live peacefully, but nooooo.

So I've mentioned her hoarding. Last night, I decided to drag out most of the DVDs in our house and count and alphabetize them. There are 387 individual titles. 35 of those are doubles. 129 of these dvds are unopened. And of course, that's not all of them. I found more hiding in the laundry room after I did my count and there's way more hiding in my mom's bedroom!

white2fire 08-13-2010 06:02 AM

@Mar-mar: O_o
Where have you been all my life?

@Cookie: Dude....you should sell those...on Ebay. :D

For-Chan Cookie 08-13-2010 06:03 AM

That takes effort on my part. And my mom thinks she's going to be able to sell them at a yard sale. The yard sale she's been planning in her head for ten years and never had. Not to mention that people shop at yard sales and on ebay for a deal. It's not like there's a lot of money there. Some money, sure, but is it worth my effort to take care of her problem?

white2fire 08-13-2010 06:05 AM

...I would. Cause I'd make it so I kept the money. >_<
Or at least half.

Marguerite Blakeney 08-13-2010 06:05 AM

Wifey: Oops, I didn't know <3 I only say it because I never see you around! *clings*

Cookie: Your mommy sounds a lot like my ex-BFF's mommy.
