I'm ok. I have no plans, other than eventual sleep. I'll probably just go outside and watch all my neighbors set of fireworks tonight. There's always someone in the neighborhood setting them off.

Yeah, I saw mention of it in the thread here on Kinsaki, so I poked around and read the announcement on Kinsaki. Apparently the site isn't making any money and the owner wants to ditch it.

I check out every avatar site just out of curiosity. I never care for any of them. There's one site that has some rather pretty avis, but they're all so pastel and insubstantial. I really prefer Mene in so many ways. :D

I like the Kinsaki avatars much much more than Gaia or Solia ones. 'Mene in so many' haha.

Ha, didn't mean for that to rhyme like that, but yes, I do like the Mene avatars more than any of those other places and there's an active community here and nice events. I guess if I gave some of those other sites a chance I might find more to like, but to be honest, it took me a while to really settle into Mene. I was inactive for a long time after I first signed up. I'd probably do the same on those other sites, so no reason to sign up and just take up space with another dead account you know.

Yeah true. Also as other websites are less active than mene and so it wouldn't be as entertaining. I guess it would be harder to settle in if everything moved much slower.

Ah, I found which one it was. Ernya. I think the avatars there are rather pretty, but they look so darn fragile too. It's an odd sort of turn off, having avatars that look too pretty XD

Mene avatars have just enough shading and dark lines that they have substance. :D

I'm pretty sure part of the reason I lost interest in the beginning was because the forums were much slower back then. It was back when Mene was still young.

Ernya's avatars are pretty cute too. I guess it depends on the items, but I would find them harder to dress and be satisfied with.
Yes, Menewsha's avatars just look more ..solid and maybe more detailed. Although these avatar's heads are much less in proportion than Ernya's or Kinsaki's.
