Which pet makes the perfect pillow?

I have a BFC (Big Fu**ing Cat) And i've found out that he is the most comfortable thing i can put my head on when i got so sleep (I'm glad i'm not allergic to cats).

For a few minutes he stays calm, until he finds that i'm falling asleep and starts squirming to escape, waking me up in the process. Then we start a wrestle match in which i try to subdue him to surrender his freedom and accept his status as a living pillow, but he is a cat after all and i can't compete with him in agility. I've been thinking about sedating him before i do this but then i remember i love the damn cat.

Well, now. Do you have pet's that are so damn fluffy that you'd like to sleep over them without regard for their feelings?

MissxMarionette 04-05-2010 11:25 PM

geese? i kinda like my feather pillows :P

Romulox 04-05-2010 11:39 PM

well, it kinda has to be a living thing... that's the joke... i feel that if you do not annoy your pets you're missing half the fun of having them XDDDDDD!

My cat's too bony to sleep on. XD He sleeps on my pillow, though; he usually ends up using my head as his pillow. When he's not waking me up by trying to play with my plugs, anyways... -_-

i have an insanely fat dog. She's kinda muscle-y though but mostly fat. She's uber comfy and if I put her toy by her head when she's laying down, she'll let me use her side as a pillow. Until, however, she gets annoyed or scoots her toy too far away. She'll usually let me lay my head on her for about 10 minutes before she gets annoyed.

I wish my parrotlet wasn't a little lawn gnome- since i can't sleep on him, i nom on him all the time instead...

when my hands are full I carry my little baby in my mouff :3

My dog. He's just right for it. The others i couldn't really get away with making pillows from...Cats are to jumpy and skinny...Stick insects, a millipede, hermit crab and African land snails XD

ziatenaj 04-06-2010 05:02 PM

Kinda, do boyfriends count as pets? Mine has the most comfortable chest. If it wasn't for the fact that I move around constantly in my sleep, and that he snores like an oger... I would let him hold me all night. <3
Your cat sounds like a saint to put up with that... no offense.

My dog makes a good pillow. He's big, soft, and white. lol

My fat Tabby cat makes a perfect pillow...but it only works when he is sleeping in the sun, otherwise he runs away.

I've tried to sleep on my cat before, but she doesn't like me using her as a pillow, and she'll push my head away -3-. But my step brother's cat is even fluffier than my cat, and doesn't mind as much. But I prefer just using my normal pillows. They don't try and run away from me XD (even though I have a tendency to throw them on the floor when I'm sleeping at times)

The only pets I have are my three stick insects, They would all be squished if I slept on them, I would be sad because they wouldn't be alive anymore and where they where would be a stain.

Yep, when it comes to me he has an infinite reserve of patience. He usually tries to escape and meows desperately for help but he has never scratched me.

Vickicat 04-06-2010 10:11 PM

Cat.

I have a fat cat too. I would be tempted to use him as a pillow, but I know he would bite me if I tried that.

oh my :O I just had an image of a person with a bird in their mouth, carrying an armload of stuff. Haha, and the bird just looking around unamused.

lol, when i read the topic i thought, "my cat"
he will crawl under my chin while i'm sleeping and then he will become a pillow eventually... he doesn't mind though, and if i get up to leave he freaks out because his warmth is gone.
i bought a seperate pillow for him to sleep on, in hopes that he would leave me alone, but he just moves to mine... crazy cat

PaintedApple 04-07-2010 01:34 AM

Well my cat is the one who uses me as a pillow. Apparently I'm comfortable too.

Scarebear 04-07-2010 02:46 AM

I think I make a good pillow. I have a cat and a dog who both use me instead of me using them! xD

Selenight 04-07-2010 03:02 AM

Hmm...A dog if they lay there long enough. Cat's get bored, though animals do love us as pillows..

The Wandering Poet 04-07-2010 10:18 AM

My cat just gets annoyed because it makes her uncomfortable... and she's fat and comfy too (for now)

Firoren Slyshot 04-07-2010 11:35 AM

I would have to go with my enormously large cat, Roland. He's an orange main coon. (Awww, how sweet!) And for some reason, as long as he's comfortable, it's perfectly okay to use him as a place to rest your head. Of course, when he wakes up, he tends to be in a bad mood. =.= What would I do without him....

The Wandering Poet 04-07-2010 06:46 PM

@ Fi - lol... probably want to wake up before him then XD

icandiee 04-08-2010 03:08 AM

My Pomeranian, he might be small, but he's really floofy and when he curls up into a ball, he gets warm and doesn't mind when you sleep on him x3
But i'm scared that I might hurt him, so I don't sleep on him that long >___<;;
My other dog doesn't like it when I sleep on her, when I do, she'll grow and get up and move x3

Ezprethual 04-08-2010 02:19 PM

I would love to have my dog as a pillow. His curly poodle fur would be perfect for me ^^ Though i rather buy one of those curly pillows xP

shinigamikarasu 04-08-2010 06:14 PM

My dog actually makes a pretty good pillow. He doesn't let my do it for long, though.

My previous cat (not the one I have now) used to sleep on my back if I laid down on my stomach. It was actually kinda nice. Especially when he started purring.
