Mushi-shi.
I came across this anime while browsing in my local library, and I absolutely love it! Nobody I know has even heard of it, but it's amazing. The main character is a man named Ginko who travels from place to place to research creatures called Mushi. He aids people that suffer from problems that Mushi cause, which can be a number of mysterious things. This series has beautiful music and graphics. It is a very relaxing series that I highly recommend to everybody. |
i've read the first volume of that and seen the live action film from it. i think the story is really interesting. it's one thats not as well known because it's not all about falling in love. the stories really make you think and learn and a lot of people don't want that from a manga.

I didn't know it was a manga series! The movie looks really great too. I wish this series was more well-known; I think it is absolutely gorgeous. |
Mushi-shi? I always see that anime in a DVD store where I buy some of my collection and I never thought it is nice, now that you have mention it Ms. Amam2217.

I was interested at first glance, but the characters looked so plain I didn't really pay it attention until recently. I do love the stories and Ginko is awesome, but I just wish the characters stood out a little more.

I've got Vol. 1-4 on DVD. I absolutely love this series. The stories are great.

it's true that the art doesn't stand out at first glance but if you take the time and give it a go then you won't be sorry. at least thats what i've found.

I really didn't care for that anime personally. i found it way to boring and after the first 5 episodes it still wasn't catching my interest so I stopped watching it.
It probably wasn't the right genre of anime for me though, which is why I think it didn't interest me. |
