We begin with Rose Whitmore, the vice councilor of the Vampire Council, who had just drained a mortal homeless boy dry without remorse, even smiles in an elegant, beautiful and sociopathic way. She then goes the home she shares with the vampiric first, Alicia Thorn, to change to a less bloody attire before going to her council’s main building, not to far away from her location.

During this act of heartless bitchery, the vampire first’s biological daughter, an unmarked rouge named Evelyn Thorn is alerted to a scream coming from the room of the adopted daughter Eden Elemiah-Sariel-Thorn, who suffered from a nightmare, which prompted her to seek out her sister’s company. Little wuss.

Meanwhile, more interesting and compelling interactions take place as the head of the human council, Reginold Burkowitz Sidel, often reffered to as Mr. Burk, takes out a marked werewolf before heading towards the vampiric council’s main building. Upon arriving, however, he is greeted by Dr. Dellius Grivear, the beta of the werewolf council, and a dragon named Ynyr-Vian-Wasylidrac, the head of the high council, and together they enter the bat cave towards their impending doom/the plot.

And at the lair of leeches, they are greeted by Rose, who rather promptly gets into a ‘friendly’ nonchalant banter of light insults with Dr. Dellius that you would assume was between close friends- Only they hate eachother and seem to do this only for the sake of appearances. After this and those with a Y-chromosome in the room feel briefly uncomfortable with the tension between the women, all are led into the meeting room by the vampiric vice councilor. It is here that Ynyr and Dr. Dellius, who had not arranged an appointment or given word prior to their arrival, state their business. It is here the head councilor of the vampire council arrives, and had, understandably, forgotten to do her paperwork. Her undead ass was quickly saved by Rose, who apparently seemed to magik the papers out of the office and returned to the meeting room to give this… And then there is the revelation of the fact that the vampiric third in command had been assassinated at the very hour before the meeting began.

But then the doors suddenly burst open, revealing a human unmarked rouge known as Sheridan Tote, who rudely strode in as if in his own home, and promptly gaining the dislike of those unfamiliar with him… And those who were familiar with him as well. Actually, everyone seems to not like him. I wonder why….? And while it’s a slim chance, perhaps it has something to do with the way he KICKED OPEN THE FREAKING DOORS AND SAT THERE WITH HIS FEET ON THE TABLE. This entire scene seems pointless except to bring up the point that the killing of humans is illegal.

Continuing on… Not moments later the second and third in commands for the high council enter, Gabriel Arcengeal and Levi Hann. The hyperactive second immediately tries and fails to assault the dragon with what is widely known as a ‘glomp’ as Levi acts more professional and brings more paperwork for Alicia to do. Poor thing. But afterwards, the third of the high council points out that Rose had been killing humans and Ynyr inadvertedly said something that assisted in sending the vampire woman into a temperamental rage of sociopathic fury, and after leaving some parting words behind, stormed out of the building like an angsty teenager who just had a fight with her parents. She then decides to take the corpse of the vampiric third and place the body in Dr. Del’s car before leaving for a bar. BECAUSE THAT’S OBVIOUSLY NOT A SIGN OF PSYCHOSIS. Levi then mentions the fact that the draculina had been caught on tape draining her earlier victim dry.

Afterwards, Gabriel suddenly turns extremely serious and, to put it bluntly, tells Sheridan to get the fuck out. After doing so, he puts a silence spell around the room and reveals the mess Rose had left on Del’s car, and summoned… Faeries? Really?, who somehow got a coffin out of nowhere and put the body in it while councilors briefly entertained the notion of sealing Rose. Alicia reveals she can ALSO be a heartless woman when she gives nothing more than a sneer to the body of the third in command. Wow, no wonder everyone loves vampires. They care so much for each other.

Meanwhile, elsewhere yet again, or, more specifically, the bar Rose went to, named the Bleeding Valentine…
Rose is brooding/sulking, I can’t tell anymore, at the bar when Sheridan arrives with a shadow demon named Silas Sahelai, a marked rouge, and the two non-council members have a brief conversation, which eventually has the demon attempt to woo Rose, only for it to be crushed. Quite literally.

No, seriously. It really does. You see… The phoenix, the number one marked rouge, at the top of the list in the bingo book, widely known as Asoch but currently called Lugh, decided to stroll down the street and spotted the first in command of the dragon council, Annalesia Azure, spying on the meeting, which was rather fruitless, considering how I said a few paragraphs ago that Gabriel put up a silence spell. Regardless, Asoch manages to see her after causing a few council members to get their little asses handed to them, and decides to bug her. However, Ynyr gets word of his presence, and with a long suffering sigh, goes out to confront his constant tormentor.

The dragon’s second and third follows quickly after, but Gabriel is suddenly abducted! …Only to be released and cause odd yaoi-visions when he dives into Ynyr’s arms. Hm. After most of the councilors arrive outside, the phoenix decides to blow up Alicia’s house. FOR NO REASON. Quite simply, people get pissed off and, after transforming out of their humanoid forms, Asoch and Ynyr have an epic aerial battle while Gabriel sets up a barrier around the city so that the normal humans can’t see anything, specifically a giant flaming chicken and a flying lizard are fighting… Which quickly turns into fail on Ynyr’s part.

And as this is going on, THE PLOT ARRIVES. The first and third command of Paladin, Noel and Leon, call upon the young Jeremy Burkowitz Sidel, one of the two sons of Burk, who is secretly a member of the said organization, and quickly answers the call. The paladin members apparently want to capture the phoenix while it’s distracted, and they leave the shooting up to the boy. He had 3 shots, and he missed all of them. He has only one shot left, now, but it’s heavily implied that he will fail.

OH! That’s right, the burning house. How could I forget the memorable Evelyn and Eden? Well, they got out of there with the sorta-help of Levi, and now Eden is possessed by something that’s very rude and Asoch is now on the ground, confronting the small thing with endless amusement. Not only that, the alpha, Alianor, and gamma, Nik, of the werewolf council arrives, as does Silas, Rose and a shapeshifter named Kyra, who’s bitchiness puts Alicia and Rose combined to shame. Alianor quickly got into a short lived fight with the shadow demon and Dellius seemed to be the only one actually DOING SHIT and then calls her alpha out on it.

And in a completely irrelevant location, a group of psychotic people catch the eye of the younger son of Mr. Burk, Kacie, and he follows them- COMPLETELY STUPID, but okay, whatever.
