Darkens High. The castle school on the hill over looking the town. The school that everyone has heard of but nobody can find another person who has gone there. Of course not. This specific highschool is for demons. They practice their talents here and learn the usual school things. English, math, science, history, and Art. The population is 99.99% demons now. It was one summer that changed the percentage to 99.9% from 100% demons. A set of parents decided that their child needed to get out of the house. This human girls name was Silvia Kaysu. The teachers who have been dealing with demons for their whole career even though they themselves are demons were patiently waiting for the girls arrival. Some were excited to meet her. Others were scared because they didnt know how the student body would act. They dont even think that she knows that beyond the gates there are over 700 demon students. They will just have to see what happens when she enters the school.

Powers: Controls the shadows.

Bio: Jaden was brought up as a shadow demon. Now most shadow demons have black or red eyes but his are jade green which is why they named him Jaden. Hes been in that school for a year now after he was old enough to learn how to control the shadows instead of letting them control him. Only his parents would be able to teach him that. Now he awaits the arrival of the new human girl so that she can have a guide to classes. Out of all 700 demons in that hat, his name was picked.
Personality: Hes a laid back person until you get to know him. When you know him pretty well, thats when he starts to go hyper and other things on you. It could be fun to watch. Hes an all around cool guy.
Other: He knows how to handle weapons and has a half body tattoo on his torso that people see when he takes his shirt off. Its a birth mark.

Age: 124 ((looks 15))
Gender: Female
Race: Secular Demon ((I made it up. They have wings and a tail. Powers differ within families))
Powers: She can talk to animals and use telekinesis.
Grade: Second year.

Bio: Cora is a pretty straight forward person. She had a normal demon childhood. Abuse and then sent to school. You could call her the bitch of the school who loves to see others suffer because she has suffered. Its a known fact that shes had a crush on Jaden for some time though. Her being a vampire and all, she could totally use a hot guy who controls shadows of course. Well now on to her history. She was always able to control her powers.
Personality: Complete bitch. ((Thats all im gunna put.. Sorry i just dont feel like going in depth.
Other: Yes she does have a metal tail. She also has a tattoo on both shoulders that she was born with, like most demons, to hold in most of her power.

Bio: Silvia was born into an abusive home where her parents didn't care much for her and her brother was never home to stop their parents from beating her. When her parents herd of Darkens High and how it was far away from where they were living they were willing to do anything to ship her off to the school with no idea of what they had just gotten their doubter into.

Personality: Silvia is very shy and submissive due to her home life. Once you get to know her She starts to show sines of major depression that most think will eventually lead her to thoughts of suicide. She is very quiet though there is a whole nother side to her when she gets really angry, it's almost like she is a whole different person.

Silvia sat in the second seet of the bus looking out her window as the light slowly faded away. The bus driver and monitor looked at her woridly. "Is every thing ok Ms.Kaysu?" the bus driver asked concered about the yong human. He only feered that she would be killed and her familly would find out. "Ow... Yes, thank you for asking... I'm just alittle nervice that's all." Silvia said looking up with a sheepish smile. When they arived she was escorted into the school by one of the concilers that everyone knewto be one of the strongest demons in the school. Non of the students were out so Silvia would not freak out right away.

Jaden had been waiting for the human to come to the front office. A councelor brought her to him so that he would be able to give the girl a tour of the school. He let the shadows dance around as everyone was told to wait in the classrooms. He looked at the human girl. She doesnt look the way i expected. Alot cuter than i thought. "Hello... Silvia right? My name is Jaden. Theres something i need to tell you before we look around... Things are alot different here than you might think so dont freak out from anything you see ok?" He smiled at her. "Follow me" He started to walk out of the office towards the hallway, her papers in hand.

Silvia followed close behind with her two bags on her back, one was a backpack the other a rather small napsack that contained her clothes, it was tied to the other so she did not have to carry it. "It's nice to meat you... What do you mean?" Silvia asked quietly. Her voice was soft and timmed though you could still hear her she just wasn't verry load.

The kids started to poor out of the classrooms slowly at first. Most were in human form but those that couldnt be in a human form. He looked at her with his hand behind his head a little nervous. "Well. We arnt exactly... uh... We arnt exactly human you see." He stayed close to the girl to make sure that she didnt faint or something. It was a little nerve racking because he didnt know humans very well. He wouldnt know how she would react to this so he had to be completely ready for it.

Silvia looked around her at the students that were now staring at her. She was rather surprised as she saw the different types of creatures that were around her. She wasn't sure what to think and she definantly didn't know what to say. "Then... How did I manage to come here if it is a... a.... Demon school?" Silvia said looking up at Jaden and stuttering as she tried not to freak out.

"To tell the truth. I dont really know" Jaden said still smiling at the girl. "If anything i think that the school is trying to um slowly let humans know that we do actually exist. But thats just what i think." Jaden took her by the hand and started to lead her to her locker which was in the hallway closest to the office. "Ok so this is your locker. All you have to do is say open, Its your own voice that will let it know its yours. They cast it for you from your interview. Just dont try to manualy open and close it. Just say open and then close. The lockers hate it if you try manual." He looked around at the different people hoping to god that Cora wasnt around. He didnt want to have to deal with her while he escorted the human.

Silvia was slightly concerned as she was told that Jaden didn't know. "I don't think I'll put any of my stuff in there yet I don't even have my class scedual yet." She said trying to hide the fact that she was not just woriring about the students that were much stronger then her but also the fact she could not pull out of the school even if she wanted to. "Hey... Um, why can I not get any cell phone singnal here? I might need to call my brother." Silvia asked softly. What she nor most of the students knew was that the school had only limited her phone from incoming and outgoing calls. They did not want to make a seen and risk the whole demon race from being exsposed. Silvia's presince in the school was by complete mistake and the staff and concilers did not know how to hadle it right away. Silvia was never ment to get in though somehow she managed to, the school had never planned to open it's doors to a single human more or less the human race. Humans were never ment to know the secrets of the world that they had only thought to be in fairy tales. If she was to leave she would have to be dismissed of every thing she had seen since she got on the bus to come to the school, whitch ment weeks of recovery.

Jaden smiled. "I have your schedule. im what you can call your big brother for the campus. As for the cell service, I have no idea why you cant get any. Maybe its because we are on top of a hill but again i dont know. Sorry." He gave her a large smile as he looked at her schedule in order to figure out where they were going next. "you should probably put your stuff in there anyways. I assure you its very safe." He looked at the way she was looking at all the others students. She must be scared or something with so many demons around. "Oh and dont worry abou thte students... We arnt going to hurt you." Or at least most of us wont. He was thinking about Cora at this time who would probably show up sooner or later.

Silvia nodded and put her stuff in her locker and looked back at Jaden with a slight sheepish smile. "Is there a phone I may be able to use to call my brother? He wanted to hear from me when I got here and he'll be woried if I don't call soon... It's almost time for him to go to work I think." She asked hoping to call her brother. She did not know if she wanted to stay at Darkens for she was terifide that something would happen no matter how much she was told she was safe.

Jaden was a little nervous with the question but he walked her back to the front office. "there are rules to using the phone though. You are not allowed to disclose anything about this school. Im sorry but its important. Act like its a normal human school." He gave her the phone and dialed two numbers so that it would call into the human world. Sometimes it was nice that he worked in the front office. At least thats what he was thinking right about now.

Silvia sighed and nodded before dialing her brothers cell. "Hi bubu... Yeah everythings going good... No I haven't yet... Well I was going to call you first so you wouldn't be woried... They did what?!... That's inposible... I had the alarm code set on my door, how... What about Usaly?... No... They can't... Well... I don't think they are accepting anymore... Ow, ok... Love you, bye." She said before hanging up the phone and hanging her head where you could not see her face. She had just found out something that she hoped would never happen and now it only made her life just a little harder then it already was at this point.

Jaden waited outside the door for her, He couldnt help but over hear the conversation. He walked inside once she was finished. "What happened?" He had real concern on his face. "It sounded like someone died or broke into your house or something..."

"No body died and no one broke into my house." Silvia said shaking her head though keeping it lowered. "My parents got into my room and are now selling the little stuff I have... Usaly is my adopted sister... They want to send her away too." She said gripping her hands into fists tightly. "Usaly was my brothers best friends little sister, he died 10 years ago and me and my brother had to beg to get my parents to take her in... When I left they started to abuse her too." She said and then put her hand over her mouth and looked up at Jaden woundering what he might say. She didn't want anyone to know she had bean abused because both her mother and father had threatened her life before if she ever told.

Abuse. The one thing she would have to face sometimes here at a demon's high school. "I wish i could help. I really do. But to tell the truth i really dont even know what to say. Its horrible that your parents beat her which must mean that they use to beat you before you left as well. I got that since you said to but if your worried about your parents finding out you told dont be. This school is completely private from the human world." For a few seconds he rummaged through his bag. Once he had what he was looking for he hid it. He took her hand and put an orb in it. "Dont tell anyone i gave you this. My mom gave it to me for a back to school present. Its a wishing orb but you have to be specific ok. And it cant have anything to do about demons if your a human. Meaning nothing about this school either. Im only giving it to you as an option if you hear that the abuse gets worse ok?" He turned to leave the office hoping she wasnt too suprised at the gift.

Silvia was surprised as he handed her the orb, she looked down at it and thought of her sister... Which tetnicly Usaly was. She had a small bag/perce that was slung around her shoulder that she had not put in her locker and put the orb in it then walked to the doors of the ofice praying that Jaden had not left her.

Jaden looked at the girl as she walked out of the front office. He smiled after a few minutes. "So on to your dorm room i guess. Your going to have to miss your classes for today but thats ok for now. Just get use to the surroundings and then you can start going to classes. Its better to take things slow. Ok now lets go" he starts to walk towards the west wing of the castle hoping that she follows.

Silvia smiled and nodded as they started to walk to the girls dorms. She was aware of the people that continued to stare and stayed close to Jaden. In her mind as long as she was close to someone that she had a good feeling wouldn't hurt her she would be safe.

Jaden smiled as the girl came closer to him. It was the first time he had started actually feeling other feelings besides regret for having been posted as this girls guide. No now he was happy he was her guide. In fact he felt sympathy towardd her and gave all the other demons that looked at her wrong a nasty look while they entered the west wing. "This is the dorm room wing. Its divided up by doors. Everyother door is a different sex. So boy girl boy girl. That type of thing.... Youve got the only open dorm for girls which is right next to mine. Come over if Cora gives you any grief.... OH yeah. Cora is your roomy. You might want to be careful around her. Just a little warning." He said smiling a little more.

Silvia looked up at Jaden as he spoke. "Why do you say that?" She asked then didn't know if she wanted to know the answer. Silvia was starting to feel a little less nerviose as long as she was close to Jaden she felt fine, though she didn't know how she would feel around others without him close.

Jaden openeed up the door to Sylvia's room. He had the key which was how. The key after he put it in the door could only be held by her now. "This is your room" When the door got fully open he was tackled to the ground by a girl who had a metal tail, wings and horns. She straddled him on the ground. He pushed her up off of him. "CORA... WHAT IN DEVILS NAME ARE YOU..... Hehehe sorry Sylvia. This is Cora your roomate."

The door was opening. Cora didnt like it. She pounced on the person who had opened it only to find Jaden. So she straddled him with a smile on her face but he just pushed her to the side. "Oh come now Jaden. You know me. Why dont you come visit more often? And leave this bag of shit in the garbage room where she belongs." She glared at the girl who was standing next to her lover.
