I will work on my character tomorrow. I kinda want to catch up on the story so far...unless you can give me a brief summary. XP

When does the role-play take place? I have read over the current profiles and there are such a wide range. ^^;

I had one of two characters in mind:
A vampire "Lilith" a daughter of Dracula (in this case I assumed Vlad the Impaler is Dracula). I really don't have any special powers for her.

OR

Urbeth (I may have to change the name XP), a character from my 50 Fathoms role-play who is half Chinese and half Masaquani. She is little (almost childlike) for her age but her looks can't contain her fiery disposition--in other words, pissing her off is usually not good. She has mage abilities, but I would limit her to Fire control for this role-play. Her other abilities are her insane ability to notice everything, her environment, people, etc. and her ability to persuade--the problem with these abilities is that they don't translate nearly as well to a text-based role-play from table-top. XP

I guess what kind of character isn't there in the role-play?

A shapeshifter is untaken so far o.o ^^; A puppeteer, death 'god' (in japan death gods and godesses are in numbers, so it's not like there is only one :P She would be special, but not a god, just a name... More like a death warrior/fighter, they bring a soul that is wandering to 'heaven' with touching the forehead of the soul with the hilt of their sword. Their sword mainly is special in a unique way that resembles the user) Elementalist, do I need to go on?

I have read all the profiles. ^^ I was more asking if there was a character type or ability type that seemed to be missing or that would be useful.

I don't usually give my characters special powers, so I want to make sure that if s/he has a power it will be useful in the role-play. I see users have characters with air, water, and earth(plant) abilities and healers. Mind-readers and powers similar to that ability. Darcy has the ability to see what is and what could be.

These are the abilities that I don't think anyone has taken, but please, correct me if I am wrong:
Control of fire
Post-cognition: seeing the past
Communicating with the Dead
Communicating with animals

I suppose a special ability would be to block all the other character's mind reading ability but that seems a bit unfair. Do you think?

And I think a child character might fit well in this role-play. Around 10 years old?

Darcy is able to look in someone's mind, making her able to see past too.
And my dear puppeteer then? It's untaken... o.o The ability to move dolls and let them attack your enemy *teary cute eyes, bear with a saber out of nowhere: Enemy defeated*

Oh! I got another idea!

A ten year old with a mind-reading abusive parent--probably mother in my case, learns to reinforce her mind to block others from reading it (feels like a mental brick wall) with the ability to control gravity.

I would flesh it out more, but what do you think?

Aha... Like darcy the screams in her head? (apparently darcy has terrible screams in her head that will scare of any mind reader, she herself gets headaches from them... but kay)
Now I terribly want my Elite to be allowed, she's well with children :P But she is yet to be allowed T.T
Whatever you like Urbeth, we will accept you as long as you read the rules! Or our characters accept yours is a different story, yet to be typed out.

What are the current couplings? Are there any right now?

Edit: To answer you're other question, The character wouldn't have any mind reading abilities but just blocks out people trying to read her mind--sometime causing a headache but nothing too painful. ^^;

None of yet :P Luckily, it would be rather boring if everyone are together right now already, makes other people burned on the fact that this is a academy only to fall in love and get over with o.o Though I have the feeling my character is getting awfully close XD

XD Well at the front door is an unconscious girl, the blue one if I recall correctly :P Everyone is talking near a fountain... o-o; ._. Aaaaaand, in the academy: Peyton's boss. And the strongest, watch him :P He's terrible with girls, don't know how he is with children XD My character is in the air with the male angel, so they can't really be spoken to unless your character levitates herself and asks them... And that's what you need to know I guess, in the intro says what you can start off with... Wait a while to figure out wat everyone is doing, and get in whenever you figured :P
