(: Plus I don't think Peyton would prefer Myrr being hurt. He's a man; he can take the pain. lol

diamondt 07-14-2010 07:40 PM

XD He needs to move to attack remember? If Myrr would miss her leg she'd still be able to cast magic :P

Annalesia 07-14-2010 07:47 PM

So could he. He could adapt to her abilities and use them.

diamondt 07-14-2010 07:49 PM

~.~ He'd learn leg healing if that'd be true. ^^;

@emiko_firecaster: welcome to the RP. How does your metal control work?

through his mind, and through his flames.

No-one can ever just get over death. It's just not psychologically possible.
They could die, and this whole situation isn't being taken quite seriously enough. The whole blaming thing won't work if the other mental symptoms of possible extermination are shown.

When a human is presented by a situation of danger to its on existance, it will react in certain ways:
*Blame another stranger for this
*Try and survive at any costs.
*Become irate/mad/insane/angry.
*Go through the five stages.
See Wiki here for info on the five stages.

Please, I know it's a lot that I'm asking for, but I really need all of you to play along with this.

thats all good and all but it is entirely possible for one to come in terms in death. you see it in rl all the time. as to this, my character has faced death so many times that she has become... blind to death; and sees her death as a means to see her family again.

as to my not posting, i was merely trying to decide whether to post now, or to wait to post...

and how exactly to do so without sounding like a noob

So the flames heat the metal, warping it into the desired shape?

Pip 07-15-2010 05:37 AM

Emiko, you make a fair point, however, death never leaves one cold. (Pun not intended.)
Sure the person may have a ritual to seeing death, but there is always one ounce of something that makes everything worse. :')

Aw, everyone's being horrible to Darcy. Makes me feel horrid.

I thought you wanted people to be horrible and distrustful. O.o

Embeth just released some pent-up emotion from when she initially met Darcy. Ashley's manipulating the situation to serve her own purposes, so don't take it personally. The next most-offensive character would be Seraphin, whom you're controlling.

Pip 07-15-2010 06:23 AM

Oh, I know. The fact that I wanted it to happen makes me feel guilty. xD
I have a really bad guilty concience, even if I've not done anything.

And then I'm not used to playing a character that can be horrid. ^^
It's all new.

Urbeth 07-15-2010 06:32 AM

I think I might have to start a running list of Pip-isms.

diamondt 07-15-2010 10:18 AM

XD Let darcy have a talk with Myrr? :P She's good at listening~ ^^; And can be very very nice when she wants to ^-^ Just random too.... o.o
Pip-isms? sounds interesting, you should ^-^

Pip 07-15-2010 05:19 PM

Dia, I'm afraid not. The whole point is to cause distrust.

@Flux, to make the fire seem Darcy's fault, she can do something with her Sonic Pen. ^^

diamondt 07-15-2010 05:22 PM

Trueee~ But if darcy would talk to Myrr there wouldn't be others, so it wouldn't matter since Myrr doesn't distrust Darcy to begin with. Which makes me wonder, if Myrr doesn't distrust her, does she trust her....? Hmm. So far so good Myrr only tagged along~ ^^;

emiko_firecaster 07-15-2010 05:41 PM

hmnm im not sure if its been answered yet but do they remember anything from the rwo realities, more specifically, going from the five years to the "present day?"

diamondt 07-15-2010 05:48 PM

Jup~ =3 They do, which is the confusing part for them really. ._.

emiko_firecaster 07-15-2010 06:43 PM

lol
hmn isnt that a paradox?

diamondt 07-15-2010 06:43 PM

What is a paradox? o.o

Pip 07-15-2010 06:54 PM

Well, it isn't a paradox because one of the realities is false.

The word paradox is often used interchangeably with contradiction. It is also used to describe situations that are ironic.[1]
But many paradoxes, such as Curry's paradox, do not yet have universally accepted resolutions.
Sometimes the term paradox is used for situations that are merely surprising. The birthday paradox, for instance, is unexpected but perfectly logical. The logician Willard V. O. Quine distinguishes falsidical paradoxes, which are seemingly valid, logical demonstrations of absurdities, from veridical paradoxes, such as the birthday paradox, which are seeming absurdities that are nevertheless true.[2] Paradoxes in economics tend to be the veridical type, typically counterintuitive outcomes of economic theory, such as Simpson's paradox. In literature a paradox can be any contradictory or obviously untrue statement, which resolves itself upon later inspection.

and what i mean is if they "know" know the future, then cant they change it?

Pip 07-15-2010 07:05 PM

They can't because there is a five year gap, and also, it is another reality.
In the past, they can't use the Tardis, because there is no Tardis. And they can't cross their own timelines. That would probably cause a black whole about the size of betelgeuse.

Dia, I'm about to reveal the truth about Darcy. Don't be sympathetic. You have to be angry. :'D

emiko_firecaster 07-15-2010 07:15 PM

hmn or something simular,

so your saying that this reality is only one of the many possible futures?

so then wouldnt darcy see that, and if thats so then could we say that the dream lord is seeking to keep her distracted so she doesn't notice it?

Pip 07-15-2010 07:23 PM

No. You see, these moments are in flux. Anything could happen.
No, the Dream Lord seems to want to destroy Darcy slowly and painfully.

diamondt 07-15-2010 07:37 PM

Seems to~ And that means Megumi was right <3 In the end she was smart XD
I feeel like making her slap seraphin ._.

Pip 07-15-2010 08:06 PM

Ugh, sorry, have to go now. Too tired to reply. D:
