And don't forget those who say "Gimmie Gold!" "me wants golds and me wants some now" "Free Gold?" and "give free stuff...and gold?". Actual quotes I've seen on Gaia, even during event forums! What greedy hobgoblins! One of them posted a link to a scam site on my page and begged me to go. Another even tried to trick me into handing over my password! When I last checked hobgoblin #2 was still on Gaia making trouble.

Don't forget all those of what I call "Drive by Insults". Someone would randomly pop into a forum and randomly insult someone and then run away. Another thing I've seen and heard about is what I call "Free Speech for Me but Not for Thee". Admins, mods, etc. would tell raunchy jokes, stories, etc. but anyone else trying would get severely warned unless they are friends/brown nosers of admin., mod., etc.

With great items costing actual money, events that rob you, and brown nosing/bribing trolls, I wonder who really runs Gaia; Lanzer or Tony Soprano.

Altiris Thanks a bunch!! ^-^ I wasn't on Gaia for too long, my best mates drug me on as they wanted an easier way to keep on contact with me, but for the most part, I've found that most people on here are more friendly than people on Gaia. |

well, i was Altiris on Gaia, but i got hacked the day after Christmas. So, now i go by Sacred flowers there. Since then, I have only watched Gaia as i had known it slipping away at an alarming rate. I enjoy this place because it doesn't feel like there are a lot of people who flame or troll.

Trolls plan months ahead on Gaia forums for an assault on another avatar site (such as Mene for exp.) and they get away with it. I've seen threads preaching hate towards other races and even have ethnic slurs in the thread titles and they get away with it. Parts of the site could have glitches for months on end and they take their time to repair them or in some cases deny they even exist.

Minako Oh, it won't change my love for him, it's just tough. I'm just thankful he hasn't been given orders to ship out. He's still in the States for now. -crosses fingers and prays- He's my forever. And yeah, most loves are complicated. I almost didn't tell my Love how I felt about him, as he's my best mate, and I was terrified I'd mess up what we had. But it worked out. <3 Three years and 9 months on the 15th of this month. ^-^ Yeah, since Graduating HS three years ago, it's been tough keeping in contact, most of my best mates are all spread out now. I wish I could see them more often, but at least, for the most part, we can text each other. <3 Hope is what most people call me, but -shrug- I've got a long list of names (some are on my profile) my mates on here have fun coming up with random names for me, the most random by far is Lola. =P |
