Now that's what I call a cross-over. Mario and Inspector Gadget team up against Bowser and the Claw, or whoever the hell that guy was. It makes no sense. There's no reason for the two worlds to cross over. And thus it is awesome.

I really liked Ah! Real Monsters and I loooooved Looney Toons.
They had a marathon going on cartoon network sometime around New Years, I watched it for the whole day with my boyfriend.

Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Not really appropriate for a kid my age at the time but my brother and I watched it and , I remember laughing at the lame movies and at Tom Servo and Crow.

OMG! I used to watch it when I was younger, too!! I still remember writing a letter to the show when I was like, 12!!! haha! Good times.

Lessee, I watched soooo many cartoons from the 80s/90s, but also shows... O_O

Transformers, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Gummy Bears, G.I. Joe, Voltron, My Little Pony, Care Bears, Rescue Rangers, Tail Spin, Princess Lady Lovely Locks, Johnny Quest, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Alf, Get Along Gang, Adventures of the Little Prince, Gobots, Count Duckula, (I think I'm going for most obscure here, haha), Pound Puppies (and Kitties), He-man, She-ra, Thundercats, Unico, Jem, The Pirates of Dark Water, Sailor Moon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as many more!

Ishira 05-08-2010 12:34 AM

I remembered some more. Hello Kitty, Keroppi and Friends, Reboot, Tales of the Riverbank (a.k.a. Hammy Hamster), Bump in the Night (Mr. Bumpy).

Hermes 05-08-2010 04:20 AM

Oh my god Reboot. Reboot was screwed up man. I loved that show, but I don't think I ever quite grasped what the hell was actually going on.

Ishira 05-08-2010 03:31 PM

I agree Hermes, it got very confusing x___x

And now they are reshowing it all on Teletoon Retro xP

Cherry Who? 05-09-2010 04:47 AM

Yes, Bump in the Night! I still sing The I Was Right Song.

And Reboot was the same for me. I was about 8 or so, so, yeah, had no clue what was going on, but I liked watching it.

Hermes 05-09-2010 07:19 AM

Teletoon Retro? Wassat?

Ishira 05-09-2010 08:44 PM

@Cherry Flavored Antacid - My mom would wake me up if I fell asleep before the show started so we could watch xD

Yeah, and the net monster things in it scared me when I was small x 3x

@Hermes - It's a station on tv that you can order but I think it comes with some satellite packages because I have it for some reason. o:
They use it to show all the old school stuff like Reboot, the old Spiderman and Superman, old Scooby Doo, etc.

Hermes 05-09-2010 08:57 PM

Ahhhhh. See, I've heard of Teletoon, but not that. That's a good idea. I mean, I'd watch that channel if I had it. I'd love to see all the stuff I never had time to watch enough of when I was a kid.

Ishira 05-09-2010 09:54 PM

I'm sure the old shows could be found on DVD and on the internet too though o:
Worst comes to worst why not just get the channel?

I just want to watch all the old cartoons I don't see anymore anywhere.

Hermes 05-10-2010 04:37 AM

Well, I've been using Youtube to watch Digimon a lot recently, so I'm kind of tapping back into my childhood. My problem is mostly just not remembering the shows until I see them. =P
I can't get the channel though since my Mother don't like TV.

Ishira 05-11-2010 03:52 PM

Awww, well at least you have the computer O;

I wish I could watch a lot of stuff on the computer, but there's no volume x__x;

Fabby 05-11-2010 09:12 PM

One of my favorites when I was really little was Dudley the Dragon or something like that. It wasn't on for very long, and I was SO sad when they cancelled it. Same with Wishbone <3
I also loved Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Arthur and Rugrats, not that any of those are particularly obscure.

I'm too young to ever actually have watched the Zelda or Mario shows on TV... but I've seen them on YouTube (and my ex had the Mario DVDs) and oh dear lord those are hilarious. DO THE MARIO.

Ishira 05-12-2010 04:22 PM

Omg Dudley the Dragon! I remember that show! The theme song used to get stuck in my head all the time xD

As for Wishbone that was one of my favorites <3333

Oooh I forgot to bring up the one show that taught me so much when I was small. The Magic School Bus :'D

Hermes 05-13-2010 01:49 AM

WISHBONE!
I forgot Wishbone! Ahhhh! That show was so good I even went out and read the books. xD

Sizzla 05-13-2010 02:41 PM

I think Zooblieezoo was pretty obscure. I loved that show. PBS is awesome. XD

sailor star rainbow 05-13-2010 07:33 PM

I can still recall looking at Tale spin, inspector gadget, duck tales, rescue rangers,Lassie show, old school power ranger's,Rocko's modern life. the list can go on for a long time oh and I loved looking at wish bone. Swat Katsz was so funny at time I miss that show. ((I know I miss spelled the last half of the show I was thinking of.))

Bump in the Night!

A clay animated show about a sock eating monster that lived in a town underneath a child's bed! :o

He had a love interest, I don't remember what her name was, but now that I think
about it she reminds me of Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. A sort of pieced together doll.
He also had a sidekick, this sort of blue blob monster thing. :]
It was a really great show and to this day I've found really few people that even remember it airing.

Hermes 05-16-2010 05:08 AM

Ohh, that reminds me of Freaky Stories. Did anyone watch Freaky Stories? With the cockroach and the worm?

Esturan 05-21-2010 05:08 PM

Digimon and Captain Planet. I used to watch those all the time... Digimon came on in the morning so we would always watch it while we were getting ready for school. As for Captain Planet, well he's a hero. I loved the little money that was always with them. He's so cute!

----------

Oh! Goosebumps and Tales from the Crypt, even though they scared me, especially the one about the Garden Gnomes and the Dummy, I watched all those shows, they were messed up! I still remember the opening to Goosebumps. And that corpse guy who does the intro and outro to Tales from the Crypt... he always had that awesome laugh!

nicwok85 05-22-2010 09:53 PM

I don't know how obsure this would be, but I remember always watching The Muppet Babies, David the Gnome, The Noozles, Heathcliff, You Can't Do That On Television, Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid Of The Dark, Roundhouse, WishBone... All kinds of stuff from the early-mid 90s.

Aisteach 05-26-2010 08:44 PM

The Magic Voyage
We're Back! A Dinosaur Story
Freddie as F.R.O.7.
The Black Cauldron

BlackSwan317 05-31-2010 08:12 AM

Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, and Clarissa Explains it all

Claudia 05-31-2010 09:28 PM

I liked Biene Maya(German cartoon). I might try and buy some eps for learning Re-learning German if I get DVDs that will play on an English system. Then again....It's been a LONG time, I might not like it anymore.
