As the two friends parted ways Alka was over joyed. He was going to go south to route 21. He wanted to stop off and tell his mom that he wont be home until the morning just in case Eva came for him. The plan was to train for a day and then leave. So Alka wanted to get all the time he could with Bulba. After he told him mom the plan he went off to go to route 21.

When Alka got to the route he had to stop. He forgot that only water pokemon who knew sufe can go this way. His Bulba was no use right now. He wanted to get out on the water and try to catch a pokemon but he couldnt. After sitting with Bulba on the water for a few hours he got up. "You ready to train Bulba?" Bulba got up and started to jump up and down. He let out a short "Bulb-a". Alka pointed at a tree that was on the water bank and said "Show me what you got." Bulba wasnt playing anymore it was game time. He dug his paws into the floor and kicked off. Alka smiled when he saw Bulba running full speed at the tree. Bulba was almost to the tree when he put his head down. Alka knew this move was tackle. Right before Bulba was going to hit the tree a big stream of water blasted him off course and into a near by rock.

Alka didnt even look were it came from. He ran to Bulba. Bulba was a little beaten up but nothing to bad. Alka didnt want to chance it so he used a Potion. As he sprayed it on Bulba his wounds seemed to heal and Bulba got back up. He shook it off and got back in game mode. Alka and Bulba turned to see were the blast came from. It was a female trainer. Her Staryu was infront of her. A red light came from her hand and Staryu went back into the ball. Alka was ready to tell Bulba to attach but now he was confuzed. The fenale trainer then said "Im so sorry i missed the tree. I didnt know you were training with it." Alka pulled Bulba's ball and said "Rest Bubla." After Bulba was in his ball Alka put it back on his waist and asked "Who are you?"

The girl started to speek and Alka relaxed. She said that she was just training her new Staryu. She was from Viridian City. That she came her with her dads Gyarados to catch a staryu fro herself. Now that she has Staryu she has to return her dads Gyarados to him back in Viridian City.

Alka said after she was done talking "I have a friend and we are going to head that way. To fight in the gym." Alka didnt mind going with her to her house but it would have to wait for a day. She didnt mind much she needed a partner and all of the other kids didnt like her. She was a shy girl and didnt want to get a regular starter pokemon.

Syrin was a girl that loved the water just like her dad. Her and Alka sat by the water with Staryu and Bulba. She was happy that she had a new friend and Alka said that Him and Eva will help her get to the Elite Four. Staryu was getting tired so Syrin put her back in the ball. She got up and took a tent out from her backpack. She set it up with the help of Bulba and Alka. When she saw done Alka said that him and Bulba were going to sleep outside so she let Staryu out of her ball. Staryu rested on the floor next to Syrin. She was fast alseep in less then Five minutes.

Alka and Bulba wanted to sleep outside so they can look at the stars. Alka started to fall asleep until Bulba woke him up. Alka didnt notice it until it came out. It was in a bush next to the tree they almost hit that day. It was shaking and a loud cracking came from it. It was an egg. Alka rushed over and watched as the egg turned into the sun. It was bright and Alka had to close his eyes. Before it stoped two big brids came out from the tree. It must be the mom and dad. The brids were Pidgeot's. The female took the baby pidgey into the tree. The male started to come after Alka. Alka tryed to rason with it "We ment no harm. Please leave us alone." Pidgeot didnt look like it cared. The pidgeot started to fly right at Alka. Bubla jumped infront of Alka and gave a nod that ment game time. Alka stood up his lip stiff and his eyes glazed over. "Bulba tackle." Bulba ran full speed at Pidgeot but it missed as the bird flyew up. The bird was still heading right at Alka. "Bulba Razor Leaf." Bulba listened and sent leafs flying at Pidgeot and Alka. Alka knew he was in harms way but he didnt want the Pidgeot to hurt anyone but him. The attach hit the brid right in the back. Alka tryed to move but it was to late the Bird hit him right in the chest and he fell back and passed out.

Syrin finaly woke up when the sun started to come into her tent. She put Staryu back into her ball and got up. She opened her tent and saw Alka on the floor with BUlba sleeping right next to him. Alka looked like he was a slob his backpack was all open and she was a empty potion and a pokeball on the floor. She walked up to Alka and kicked him. He woke up and yelled'Watch out.' Syrin looked and asked "For what?" He looked around then told her what had happened. She asked him what happened to the Pidgeot and he said it hit him but thats all he knew. He started to pack up his stuff.

As Alka packed up his things he Bulba went crazy. He kept trying to hit the pokeball out of Alka's hand when he tryed to put it back. Alka was slow at times. He looked at the ball and said "No...No way." He stood up and held the ball. He smiled and trew it into the air "Rise Pidgeot" The ball shot out a read beam of light and the bird bursted out of it and flew high. Syrin looked back with a big smile on her face. Alka coulnt belive it. He caught a Pigeot. It must of happened when he fell down the ball must have hit the bird when it was knocked out on the floor. He so wanted to tell Eva what but Pidgeot looked sad. He asked him what happened and the bird flew to the nest. Alka knew he had a family and said "You can stay if you want." The pidgeot noded its head and brushed up on his wife and kid. He soon gave Alka a nod and Alka picked up the ball and said "Ill see you around."He knew what he caught was rare. It was never herd of before. He wanted to keep it but it had a family. Why they were on Route 21 Alka did not know. Alka put the ball away and started to walk with Syrin back to his house. He hoped that Eva will be waiting for him.

After the four of them were done talking they set off to route 1. It wasnt long before they reached the first town. Kari and Sryin were going to go fight the gym leader first. They didnt want Alka and Eva to watch. Syrin asked Alka if he could take back her dads Pokemon for her. Alka took Eva with him. By the time they got back Kari and Syrin had a Badge. They showed it off and Kari told them a great plan she had. She wanted her and Syrin to be partners. Eva and Alka had no problem with this because they were already Partners. Kari had a second part to her plan. The would split up and take diff route's. Alka and Eva will leave this town on Route 2 and Kari and Syrin on Route 22. The would also meet up before they fight the Elite 4 to see what team is better. Alka and Eva loved this plan. They said good bye to eachother and Kari and Syrin were heading to route 22. They could handle it because Kari has a year under her belt. Alka and Eva were going to try and get the first gym Badge. This is were the real story begins. What team will become Pokemon masters.
