We Choose Faces || This Is Who I Want To Be ((Open//Accepting))
my Thoughts After creating In My Head, I received profiles that were about a person they wanted to be... like an alter ego. So, here's my RP based off of Who (You) Want To Be or more specifically, the face you would choose to wear if you could change yourself. the Setup It was a nice spring day and well, you were stuck at work or school or wherever the hell you just so happen to be. A person beside you whispers in your ear, "What face would you choose? If you could change yourself, who would you be? What would you look like? How would you act?" You turn around, but it's too late. They're gone. On your walk back home, you ponder what that person said. Just as you being to play out who you'd love to be, that voice comes back. "Or, do you like who you are?" Freaked out, you whirl around to land a punch on the sucker, but again, they are gone. Running home, you lock yourself in your room. With thoughts racing through your head, you begin to nod off.... the Story You open your eyes and you're looking into a river. You see yourself, but something is off. You're... dreaming. Looking around, you see a quaint little town off to your left, a large city to your south, and a large mountain covered with trees to your right. Up north is a vast ocean of awe and wonder. Standing up, you give yourself a once over. Something feels different. You're not quite the same. You're... the person you wish you were. Are you stronger now? Or do you have a pair of wings? Just what do you see when you look in the water? How will you behave in this dream world? That is, if this is a dream? After wandering around, you find out you're not actually in a dream. This is... real life. You've been sucked into an alternative dimension and you're now alone. You don't know anyone and a maze lays before you. Spinning back around, you find that the maze is all around you now. The only way to the buildings that stand around you is through the maze. the Maze You're at the very beginning, only, this beginning changes depending on who you are. You can follow any route and travel anywhere. Shattered about the maze are windows, holes, and doors. You can open or go through any of them, that is, if they don't require a key. There are also rooms off the the sides in some locations called... the ClassroomThere are more than one of each of the above places. As you wander about, you might run into some other people who, like you, were sucked in here. Will you befriend them? Or fight them? Oh, and watch out, there are monsters that roam the maze that want your blood. Heh, if they don't kill you, pray that your mind won't as you might just go crazy in here. After all, you're not even sure if you can get back home to your friends, families, and loves. Good luck and happy navigating. |

Evellynn woke up from her short nap. The area around her had changed. She had fallen asleep in a dead end part of this maze she was trying to get through. But now the wall had opened up. She figured she should expect that, as anything seems to happen here. Here. She wasn't quite sure where here was, but she knew it was different from where she had been while growing up.
Standing up, she brushed the dirt from her clothes, which had changed as well once she came to this maze. She looked down at the bland, beige outfit. With some colour this outfit would actually be kind of cute. Maybe a blue, or a purple. She looked around, trying to get a bearing of where she was and where she should go next. A flash of colour near her feet caught her eye though. She looked down and found that the outfit that was previously beige was now a vibrant purple. She was a little confused, but wondered what else she could do. |
Nothing. Absolutely nothing was what Drina heard upon consciousness. Wha...what is going on? was the first thought that went to though her head as she opened her eyes and stood up with shaky legs using the tree.....What? tree?! More focused now she took a look around and saw nothing but green forests infront of her and a river to her left where am I?. Drina ran her hands through her hand blinking at it being so short and held a few strands bringing them up for inspection seeing the sandy blonde strands. she started to freak out this wasn't her this wasn't......running to the river she knelt down next to it and looked into the calm water. The person looking back at her was beautiful Is this me? she though lifting a hand and dragging her fingertips upon the surface of the water. She stood up again finally noticing the different clothing and sword attached across her back. "This is just to cool" but as she turned there was a flash of light and then she was standing in a maze with pure white walls and long twisting hallways. "Well there is not much I can do now but walk I guess" Steeling herself for whatever lies ahead she walked forward, deeper into the maze. |
Cate slowly opened her eyes and she looked around trying to figure out where she was. "What happened last night?" she asked as she rubbed her head and then noticed that her hair was short. "My hair?!" she gasped and then crawled over to a river to look at her reflection and didn't she herself but she saw a beautiful girl with short blond hair and brown eyes. She then realized it was her, but it couldn't be...she looked nothing like herself, she looked beautiful. "What happened to me?" she asked as she touched her face to make sure it was real. She was wearing clothes that she would never had worn but she liked them it made her look tough but hot at the same time. Standing up she looked around to see that she was in a maze. "Is this a dream?" she asked but then shook her head. It was far too real too be a dream. She sighed and then noticed two small swords in the grass where she had woken up. She shrugged and then put them in her belt loops and decided to try and find her way out of the maze. An adventure...this could be interesting.

It was rather odd. I was minding me own business at my college campus. Just walking and listening to my iPod. Then suddenly, someone disturbed my peace. Looking over my shoulder to see who it was, I was engulfed by a bright white light.
Am I dead? I wondered. No. I can't be dead. I... I didn't feel anything. Opening my eyes, I saw a river before me. My head hurt a little, but it was the crisp, clear air that actually caught me off-guard. My allergies... why wouldn't they killing me? I should have been plugged right up with all the pollen dancing about me. And yet, here I was, fine as could be. The sound of water then caught my attention. Turning over, I peered into the lovely water. However, when I looked into it, I noticed another person. Looking over my shoulder, I saw... no one? Confused, I looked back in the water. Again, that person was there. After a wild game of peeking and looking for this other person, it finally hit me. "Th-that's... me?" I pointed at myself and, as I did, the reflection mirrored me. Gasping, I squeed some. I was everything I'd ever wanted to look like. Only, how was this possible? "A dream!" I exclaimed, but then I frowned. "Reflection, how can this be a dream. It's... it's so real. I can feel the cooling breeze on my neck and the warmth of the sun's rays caress my back." Pushing myself up, I blinked. But, when my eyes fluttered open again, I noticed I was in a dank little room. The ears that were on my head drooped down. Not only was it dark here, but it was also... creepy. Shuddering, I decided to wander about to look for someone else. However, to my surprise, I didn't run into anyone. At least, not yet. |
((I'm a little annoyed that my "Super power" is now accessible to everyone, but I can still change the colours of things around me, so I should be able to have fun messing with people.))
Evellynn wandered for what had seemed like hours. When everything looked the same time passed s o s l o w l y. She didn't even have a way to tell time. This bugged her. She didn't know why she was here, how she got here, how long she would be in a maze of dullness. The only thing that held her attention was colour. More specifically her new found ability to change colours. She had frequently been changing hair colour, clothing colour and she had even given herself a bit of a tan. She was excited for this because by changing ones colouring, you could make yourself into a completely different person. The perfect disguise. She wondered if she could effect the colour of other things, other people. But so far she had come across nothing to test her theories on. |
((Oh, my bad. I can remove it. I just assumed when you said she could change the color of something, it would be her hair and eyes. Not clothes. My bad. I shall remove that from the thing. Although, when everyone does first arrive they do get to pick out their ideal look.))
|
((No, it's fine. My character can change the colour of anything she pleases. So as long as that doesn't get confused by the other characters, thats fine.))
|
((Okay. I just wrote a really long reply. But my computer decided to have a lovely gay moment. Because of it, I now can't post nor will I be able to until later today. Eff'king computer.))

Drina was going crazy as she walked along in the dank looking maze. It has already been...what? a couple of minutes or even hours since the start of the maze and everything still look the exact time to her. Something flashed out of the corner of her eye ans she turned quickly to see that a door had appeared there. The door was a blinding sunshine yellow with a square mark on it. raising a eyebrow Drina cautiously moved toward and and gripped it handle but it wouldn't open. Find the key Startled she stumbled back, tripping over her feet and landing on her butt. Where did that come from?!? she thought after hearing that strange whisper but...it did make since. If a door was looked, you needed a key to open so standing up she brushed of her clothes and began to look for the missing key. |
Walking about, Aleu was getting frustrated. "Where the hell is the exit!" Scoffing at her own misfortune, she heard a noise come from behind her. With ears twisted back, Aleu took off running. As she raced away from the danger, Wavikz (her inner-self) spoke. Why are you running? We could so take it! I don't know about you, but I do like to fight with a weapon. Something I don't have at the moment! Oh, touche!
Rounding a corner, Aleu spied a yellow door. Praying it would open, she shoved herself towards it. To her luck, it clicked open. Now in a brightly colored hallway, Aleu looked about. "What the? It... it looks like someone got a little paint happy? Or perhaps let a five-year-old color all over the place." Aleu looked about in both awe and confusion. Shrugging, she picked her way down the colorful hallway. |
