Why is it that everytime I like a show it gets cancelled?
 

Why is it that good shows always get cancelled?

Do you often experience this?

Why are not so good shows always continued =(


Shows that I really enjoyed that have been cancelled:

Blood Ties
Moonlight
Mental!!!!

All of those were canceled on like the first season..that's not right.

Moonlight ended on like a cliff hanger, and I think Blood Ties did too but I can't remember T_T

Does invader zim count?? it wasn't on for all that long and i think i heard they got rid of it kuz they didn't think it was appropriate for children lol.

Firefly. OMG I was so pissed off.

Others that were canceled but were brought back are Family Guy and Futurama.

Other than that, I don't generally watch a lot of tv, although I'd be sad if ABDC were canceled

not that many shows that are on right now i really enjoy or they already have a good show and i still watch it. so i guess its not too bad it does suck when they cancel some shows...they don't even give them a chance

I hate when they do that too and don't even announce it was canceled- it just disappears. There was this great reality TV show called "Principals Office" which... yup, was about just that. It was funny as hell and mysteriously disappeared! I want it back :-( -shakes fist at the TV networks-

Thinking about it not sure if it was canceled or what. But Whatever happened to My own Worst enemy? Google says canceled.

I think the only show I've ever known to be canceled was Invader Zim. All my other favorites have gone on to live long happy Multi-season lives x3

One of my favorite shows, Doll House by Joss Whedon was amazing, and it only lasted for 2 seasons. It didn't get canceled but it was very short for a series and I guess they just took it as far as they could go with it.

The new Show on Comedy Central that is also amazing is called Ugly Americans, and I think it's hilarious but it says the season finally is next week and there have only been about 5 episodes, so I don't know if that means all the seasons are going to be like that or they just don't want to air anymore episodes.

Definitely miss Firefly. Just glad Futurama is back, and that the network executives were fired. Not just fired they were severely beaten afterwards. In fact most o them died from their injuries. Yes.. and then their bodies were ground into a ine pink pouder - It has a million and 1 uses! :D (quote for those who haven't seen, not advocating the murder of any network executive >.> yet...)

I'm getting on the boat and agreeing that Firefly is amazing and should never have been cancelled.

But actually, more importantly, how the heck have none of you mentioned Arrested Development? Arrested Development was genuinely the funniest show on television. I put it in front of Frasier and Seinfeld.

i hate this also. i don't watch a lot of television because most of it sucks, so when i finally do like a series and it gets cancelled it blows me away.
right now, i'm fighting really hard for the third season of Legend of the Seeker to air! ><
i looove that show!

When Invader Zim was canceled I was a pissed little one. I was angry. But now I'm older and though it's only re-runs they show, I'm a happy camper ^.^ Principal's Office was funny. I remember when one kid got in trouble for saying "inappropriate" words in a different language. It cracked me up XD

I loved moonlight it was one of my favorite shows I was soo pissed when it got cancelled...and it was getting really good too! Urg! It made me angry! But now my last two favorite shows are about to end with there final season: supernatural and lost and then I'll have nothing!!!!! T_T

When they cancelled Firefly, first thought in my head was: BUT ITS STILL GOT LOTS OF LIFE!!!!

I do miss it, but they did sorta redeem themselves with Serenity. But not enough to make mre forget their previous transgretion.

Hmmm, I have yet to see Serenity. Is it actually good? A friend of mine, who introduced me to the show, refuses to give it anything better than 'okay.'

Other shows that were canceled that I am surprised were are many of the original (old) Nicktoons such as Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold!... and what pisses me off even more is how they aren't even considered as "Nicktoons" to today's standards. In order to see reruns of them, you have to special order a DVD off of Amazon. So retarded. A lot of the new stuff they make these days is complete shit.

I didn't watch those shows specifically, but many of the shows I did watch just aren't anywhere. I thought they were pretty damn good when I was young, and the few peaks I've gotten recently have shown me I was right. But they never show our shows anymore.
And it's not often I find a new show that I actually like. Like you said, shit.

No shit! I loved Pushing Daisies!! It was so unique and well-done! I was really sad when they canceled it... :(
