Jerome smiled softly and kissed the top of her head."Thank you...and I will never let you go as well...or let anyone harm you what so ever...."He said softly a promise written in his voice as he gently held her against his chest.

Lilith shook her head.'No ones going to hurt you like this,never.'She said clutching him.Tears swelling up in her eyes.She couldn't help but remeber her past.The pain she was put threw that led her to this point in her life.Lilith sighed softly.'When are you taking a shower?'She asked softly,trying to turn her tears away and change the subject.

Iri didn't flinch at the sounds after Devon had said they should get something to eat. She was used to such sounds by now so rather she just closed her eyes slowly and took a deep breath. Opening them she saw a concerened, or bothered look on the male's face. She didn't like that. Placing a hand lightly on his elbow she said quietly, "Let's get something to eat then, we can't really help Jessie right now." She had a concerned look on her face at that point. She didn't like the idea of leaving the girl by herself but she had a hunch that she probably wanted to be alone.

Jerome tried to forget and live the present but the memories gently driffted into his head making him tense."I just...wish I could...forget..."He said his eyes glazed as he remembered looking up at the man with blood dripping off of his chest and face...He heard the tears in her voice and kissed her cheek gently."It's gonna be okay we're together now..."He said softly."In a second..."He said quietly wanting to hold her for a little longer.
Devon sighed softly and nodded."Yeah let's go..."He said running a hand through his hair out of stress."I know...just wish...nevermind."He said not wanting to say what was actually wrong with him.As far as he was concerened he would never tell anyone what was bothering him at the moment.... |
Lilith slowly pulled away and ran a hand across his cheek with a soft smile.She could only imagein it,then she could read his thought.Lilith shook it away,tonight when they went to sleep she would keep him close and her arms wrapped around him.This thought gave the girl comfert.Lilith kissed his cheek.'Go ahead and take a shower.'She said softly giving him a warm hug.

Jerome smiled softly and hugged her back."Alright..."He said untangling himself from her arms and then walking to the bathroom shutting the door gently and turning the water on.He slid off his clothes and then slid into the shower.He washed up taking his time wanting to be clean.He washed the dirt out of his hair using a shampoo the smelled sweet and soft.He got out and turning the warm water off drying his hair out and his body off.Then he grabbed pj bottoms and put them on walking out as he threw the towel in the hamper.He sighed softly and looked at her gently.He slid into the bed next to her again...

Lilith had been laying down for awhile now staring up at the ceiling.She turned her attention to jerome as he came out.She curled up beside him and rested her head under his.'I love you...'She murmured to him softly.

Rin put a smile on her face. "Well, what if I put you in another country, just to fight this on my own. Would you still try to be by my side during the fight?" She loved Ike and the way he would always be with her. She couldn't imagine herself without a nice guy like him.
Jessie was still on the ground with her hair all messed up and her dress torn at the bottom. Then she wasn't planning on hearing someone's thoughts, but she did. She decided not to say anything about it because she wasn't sure she heard it right. Jessie ignored it and watched the flames. "I'll keep holding on for you my brother and I will fulfill what you wanted, my brother." Devon when you're done, please come back to the study alone. We need to talk. She told him in his head. |
Ike smiled at her, "I would find a way to be at your side even then. I will always be by your side and not even being in a differnt country could stop me." he said as he looked at her and kissed her head gently.

Rin sighed. "Okay, one last thing. What would you do if she killed me?" This was something she wanted to know. She never thought about herself dying, but she could die in this fight and she wanted to know what Ike thought.

Ike hated the idea of her being killed and pulled her closer to him. "If she killed you I would be devistated and probably filled with so much anger that I would kill her. Then I would either kill myself or wonder around the world a empty shell without you." he said softly and kissed her cheek, "but you wont die because I wont let that happen. I would die before I let that happen to you." he said to her softly

Rin thought that would be a bad idea. "If you die before me then who would be there to calm me down when I go on a rampage and don't care whose in my way and let my bad side get a hold of me. I won't die and neither will you, promise?" She didn't want to live in a world by herself all alone.

Ike smiled at her and nodded, "I promise." he said to her softly and kissed her gently. He would do everything in his power to make sure that he kept that promise. He didn't want her to go on a rampage and he also didn't want her to die. So he would have to stay alert to make sure that didn't happen.

Rin kissed him back and knew that everything was going to be alright until tomorrow's event. She was already thinking of something to weaken Jessie with and she knew exactly what it was. Rin also had to remember that she needs to get her weapons tomorrow from Jack.

Ike smiled at her lovingly and held her close then, "now try to get some sleep, I want you to be at top strength for tomorrow." he said as he looked at her and then gently stroked her cheek. He wanted her to have all her energy for tomorrow so that she could whip Jessies butt tomorrow.

Rin started to fall asleep anyway because she was glad Ike was there. She started to dream about her future where there was peace with her and Ike. A few hours had passes and she started to think about that night. The night Jessie was blamed and the day Daymeion killed his own parents.

Ike smiled as he watched her sleep and knew that he should but he ended up watching her. She looked so peaceful when she was asleep and he gently stroked her head and kept her close to him.

Rin could hear her own heart beating faster as she remembered everything that went on that night, but she pushed it aside so that she could keep dreaming about her great future.

Ike continued to stroke her head and absently started to hum a old song he remembered. It was a slow and nice and peseful. He kept her close to him as he hummed and hoped she slept good.

Jerome smiled at her softly and then whispered."I love you too.."And gently kissed her cheek.He smiled hiding the worry in his eyes.He was worried for all of them..Lilith,Rin,Ike...chances are one of them wasn't going to make it out of the fight...for their sakes he hoped it was him...He gently ran his hand along her cheek and then down her jawline."I don't know what I'd do with out you..."He told Lilith his voice soft and caring as he looked into her eyes.
Devon was a bit startled as Jessie thought to him.As you wish...He thought back to her softly.Out of a nervous habit he ran pushed the piece's of loose hair from his face and behind his hair.Even though his hair was just barely long enough for him to do so.She had heard my thoughts...He thought to himself anxiously blocking Jessie. |
Lilith smiled softly and kissed Jeromes forhead.She held his hand.Lilith stared into his eyes,'Whats wrong?'She asked gazing at him with a seriouse,yet concerned look in her eyes.She couldn't loose Jerome,if she did then there would be no point in living on her behalf no more.Would she be able to carry on without him?Would she ever?This night had to last for the sake of all of them.

Rin was sleeping quiet well and when she heard Ike hum. It made her sleep more peacefully. She was fully ready for this and half way not. She was afraid of knowing one person won't make it back and that made her open her eyes to the mid morning.
Jessie was in no hurry in cleaning up the room. She saw that it was hitting close to morning and she was extremely happy. Today was the day she would destroy Rin for good. |
Ike was still next to her and awake. He smiled at her and kept her close, "morning." he said to her softly and kissed her head gently. He hoped that she slept good since she needed the sleep.

Rin looked up at Ike. "Good morning to you." She got up and stared out the window and saw that it looked gray outside. She rose up as quick as possible and opened the door and looked straight up in the sky. A big smile came on her face.

Ike followed her to the door. He lead against the door fram and looked at her, "what is with the smile?" he asked as he looked at her and wondered what was going on.
