"With everything going on I'm about as calm as I can be," Iri replied laying back on her bed. She turned her head to the side as she looked at what she could see of Devon. "And I kind of figured it was you. The castle staff is far too busy and know better than to enter my room without permission." She chuckled slightly at it though she had an idea that it wasn't really as funny as it seemed at the moment. "And you certainly seem quite active for someone who nearly died."

Iri nodded as she closed her eyes. Talking to Devon calmed her at least a little bit; it let her know that he wasn't gone yet, that she hadn't let everyone down. "They should be able to. They are some of the top mages in this realm. It make take them a while but their fail to success ratio is in your favor." She had no idea how long this mishap would take them though, she never knew. If it took a while to take care of Devon then it would more than it would easily take twice as long to fix up Jessie, if they could.

Ike ran off into the forest and continued till he got deep enough. He then let out a howl and then you heard a howl in the distance. He had been called for a reason but he knew it was urgent. Only in desperate times would the werewolf call on a white wolf like him. He soon got to a small clearing and in the center there was the ancent one, Caleb, and on his side was Brandon, the alpha of the village. Brandon growled but Caleb smacked him on the leg with his cain. "stop that, I wanted to talk to him." he said and you could barely see Caleb. He was co ered in a cloak. "come forward, Isaac." he said softly and Ike came forwards, "I have called you for an important meting, as you know each ancent one has to choose a successor to take his place. Usually the successor is the alpha of the back." he said and Brandon puffed out his chest and made himself look like he was better then Ike. "but that is not hte case this time." and Brandon let out all the air in his chest and looked at caleb shocked, "but elder." he whinned but caleb smacked him in the leg again and Brandon shut up. "this is exactly why I didn't chose you. You think your better then anyone else, I wanted someone who knew hardship and someone who cared for others." he said and then looked at Ike, "that is why I chose you." he said and Ike's jaw dropped. "really." he said softly and Caleb nodded, "yes and you will need this." he said and walked over to ike and pulled off a neckless and put it around Ike. "You are needed around where ever and with this it tells you know more then others. I trust you." Caleb said and Ike had no idea what to say. He knew that this was a big honor but it also ment he had to travel around, it ment he couldn't be with Rin at one place. But he coudlnt' say no so he nodded. Caleb then turned to brandon, "take me to the village and I shall announce to them what has happend." Brandon nodded and was bout to growl at Ike but saw the neckless and bowed before going off. Ike stood there for a while and then slowly made his way back to rin.

Jerome nodded slightly and then looked at Rin as she awoke."Hello Rin...and I...I..I don't remember anything..."He said quietly looking away from her.His tense posture didn't loosen one bit as he talked to her.

Devon nodded and sighed."Well...what about....Jessie?"He asked his voice shaking when he said her name.He looked into Iri's eyes for a split second and then away quickly as he thought about her not being there...if he came back.

Iri was silent for a moment, her own breaths filling her ears. She had never been fond of Jessie but that was because of her brother; Devon did care about her though it seemed, there was nothing she could do about that. "I do not know," she said softly. "The mages will do all they can for her as well though I do not know if she has the power to come back from such a wound." She then fell silent once again. "They won't stop until they've exhausted all possible resources and ways to save her."

Ike soon got back to her house and went inside. He saw rin and the others and just leand against the wall as he watched them. But he coudlnt' stay here long, he had to go soon. He had to go to the werewolf village, show them he saw the Ancient and all knowing one now. It was a honer but he couldnt' stay here, he had to either stay at the village or be traveling and not staying anywhere. But maybe he could stay here with her, but he wasn't sure how the other werewolves would like that.

Jerome gave her a slightly smiled as he walked up to her and took her hand."Thank you Rin..."He said thanking her for this and for saving his life all in one.He felt like a failure...being like this...He sighed softly and gave her a real smile as he loosened up slightly...her essence was how would you say calming?

Devon sighed softly as pain took over his emotions.He let the pain leave before he looked back up at her."Thank you...even if it doesn't work...I'm sure no one else would do this for me..."He said quietly to Iri."I'm sorry I'm such a weak demon...it's probably pretty annoying to have to deal with me..."He said only slightly jokingly as a soft smile formed on his 'lips'.

Iri finally sat up once again once Devon finished talking, a smirk playing her own lips. "I prefer weak demons to humans," she said with a slight laugh. "There's still hope for you unlike that race. And I will have you know that I won't stop until I can save both of you." She then nodded to herself before scooting back to her headboard, leaning against it. "If I am not mistaken, and the mages haven't lost their touch in the time my Sire was asleep, then they should be just about done with you. Wounds such as your own were once a piece of cake for them."

Jerome blinked a few times as the information was done."I..I..."He stuttered he didn't know what to say those images..."Wow...I can't believe I had forgotten...and yes I think I saw everything...wow Rin I'm sorry...I haven't been there much for you when I should have been...even if you hadn't needed me at sometime..."He said knitting his eyebrows together gently.He had said this because it was the most recent memory...the one with Jessie..

Devon nodded slightly Jessie on his mind..."If it wasn't for you i'd be laying out in that yard gone..."He said a gentle smile gently running over his lips before he stood.."Well see you soon?"he asked as he walked/floated out of the room to the other.He hovered over his scared body and gently slide back into his rightful place...hoping his body was still usable...if you could say.

Ike followed rin out of there and then sat dow next to her, "nice night." he said to her softly and then looked at RIn. He wondered if she would be okay if he left to go be with the other wolves. But he didnt' want to leave and had no idea what to do. He hadn't expected to be elder of the wolf pack since he was a outsider but he was and he wasn't sure what to do.
