Anidori sat there,gazing into the water.She reached her hand into the water to pull out a bestfriend neckless,but it was in half.'Brainard..'She said as she approached him and put the neckless around his neck.Her eyes where soft from the memory.Her full intention was to give him this neckless.Anidoris eyes where soft and happy that she could finally be somewhere,where the memories did not haunt her so bad.

Temperance felt embarrassed, but did nothing to refuse. "Th-Thank you." She mumbled, after swallowing a good gulp of the crisp water. "Allie.." She half-smiled, poking his face. "..'S just like old times.. Huh?" She giggled dryly, as she forced herself upright.

Aleck chuckled.
"Yes, just like old times."he said and ruffled her hair like he used to then walked to Constance. "My friend will be coming along, I hope that's no problem?"he said looking down at her. Abel turned to face Tampy and then walked over to eat some grass. |
Temperance shivered at the sight of Abel. "I- Uh-" She glanced back to Aleck. ".. The horse.. He frightens me." She drew her knees to her chest. "You know that.." Her face flushed bright pink, when she looked up at the young lady Aleck was talking to.

Aleck turned back to her and smiled gently.
"Don't worry, he won't do anything to you. He knows you're my best and only friend and he shouldn't hurt you."he reassured motioning for her to come to him. "Come here if you're scared. And you're going to have to ride on him you know. You can go in the middle since you're smaller."he said chuckling. |
She frowned at the comment of her petite build. "Very funny.." She slowly crawled to her feet, making sure to keep her balance. "I should-" Unfortunately for her, the upright world didn't last long, as she found herself tumbling to the ground once more. "Oof!" She cried out, as she flopped gracelessly onto her stomach.

Aleck couldn't help but laugh.
"Sorry...."he said and helped her up then wrapped an arm around her shoulders to keep her from falling. "Maybe you need some more water Tempy..."he suggested. |
She coughed lightly, as she let Aleck hold her against him. "I'll be.. Ugh.. I'll be fine.. I just used too much energy.." She flexed her arm, as if trying to get the blood to flow into her fingertips. "I just need a little nap." Glancing back over to the horse, she halted her movements. "But- if I have to get anywhere near Abel. You owe me."

He couldn't help but smile when he was with her. SHe had an adorable peronality and style.
"how will I oswe you? I'll make sure nothing happens to you Tempy...besides, Abel's a tame horse and you're going to have to ride him since we're allies again."he said looking down at her. |
Temperance sighed, she could sense that he wasn't going to let her have her way. "Fine, I believe you.. But, only since I have no reason not to." She spoke clear, and proudly, wagging her slender little finger for added effect. "But- You have to promise to let me rest.." And as if on cue, she yawned. "I won't last much longer." Her lids drooped.

"Yes, you can and should rest." he said and lay her down on the soft grass. Then he sat down across from both girls, and felt a bit akward...
"Able, you should sleep too!"he whispered and walked to Abel who obediently went to sleep. Aleck just watched them incase anything happened. "Hmm..."he whispered a bit sleepy and bored. |
Temperance blinked heavily, before pursing her lips. "He's rather different for a horse.. So gentle.. Nothing like that other one-" Another yawn erupted from her. "Why are you so willing to trust them, anyways?" She rolled onto her stomach, so that she could stretch. "You must have gotten so brave in the time that's passed." A wicked smiled crossed her face.

Aleck turned to Tempy.
"Still awake?"he asked and smiled at her. "Well, It was hard to get him this tame, but with a lot of hard work and practice...he begame tame. Why trust horses? well...because they're a way to get to places and soon they become attached to you like famyly."he said and rolled his eyes as he heard her last remark. "Hey, I was always brave, I just got stronger."he replied proudly. |
Yawning, she crawled over to him. "Yes.. I'm still awake.. My body is tired.. Not my mind." She stopped at her destination, right by his side. "That's not a good reason.." She stuck her tongue out. "I get from place to place rather quickly, with my method of travel." Stretching one last time, she laid herself out comfortably by his legs. "Stronger? I don't doubt that for a second.." Her smirk returned, this time wider. "But- The brave part is questionable.." She closed her eyes, as if it would help her with remembering. "Like that time when you picked that white water lily.. For lady Adeline.. You were so scared.. And I was- I was so.." She blushed.

He ruffled her hair and then placed his hands on his lap.
"I see, well sorry for asking. yes, you do get to your destination walking, but it's faster on horse."he said and stuck his tongue out at her. "Thank-you."he said smiling at her. "What? how?" he asked and listened to her talk about him scared getting a white water lily for Lady Adeline. "Well, I was scared I would fall in or a frog would jump out at me..."he said fiddling with his fingers and blushing lightly as he remembered. He then eyed Tempy. "You were so...what?"he asked. |
"I was jealous.." Temperance began plucking grass absentmindedly, before looking up at Aleck with a silly expression. "When have you known me to walk for long distances? I did not study magic for several years to-" She cupped her hands together, the blades of grass began to twirl and ruffle. "-Waste my time.. And the time of others." The grass weaved and laced together, until slowly transforming into a lily. "Though, thinking of it now.. It was rather adorable.." She paused. "How you wouldn't admit to your absolute fear of pad-hoppers." She smiled, brushing the soft flower against her chin.

Aleck gave her a gentle push.
"Toads and frogs scare me okay...they're all slimy it's disgusting!"he said and noticed the lily in her hands. "Wow, you're very good, that's one beautiful flower for an adorable little short girl!" her joked. "Sorry, had to say that."he added laughing a bit. "Well, teleporting IS better I guess, but not all of us can teleport. And don't worry...you'll never be in my way. You're my friend...friends never get in the way of friends even if they think they did."he added. |
She scoffed, rolling her eyes at his joke. "I am not that short.." She blew the flower, smiling lightly at the compliment, and the pedals that danced in the light breeze. "Teleportation is one of the easiet spells.. Aside from the elementals, of course." Temperance shivered, a jolt of energy coursed through her. "Oh.. Silly me.. I forgot to tell you." She got to her knees, shuffling closer until she had invaded his personal space.

"No, you're not...I just like to joke about it, but you know I always joke about you, but I'll always be your friend!" he said and hugged her quickly.
"I had forgotten that you knew magic, nice work on hiding your elf ears."he said quietly giving her a thumbs up and a broad grin. "What did you forget to tell me?" he asked. "Oh and by the way, I'm going to make you face and conquer your fear of horses...hope you don't mind."he said smiling at her. |
Constance nodded at the girl Temperance.She quickly realized that Aleck must have been good friends with this girl.Constance let out a small sigh and closed her eyes.She just listened to there conversation.It must have been a while since they spoke.She did not want to interupt to good friends.
Brainard was suprised when Anidori gave him a necklace.He stared at it for a few minutes before looking back at Anidori."Thank you."He said with a small smile. |
Temperance smiled at Aleck's affections, but quickly found herself overcome with fear. "Wh-What!? No! I will not.. And you can not make me." She pouted rather childishly, before crossing her arms and scooting away. "I'm not gonna tell you now-" Temperance noticed how silent Constance had been. "Oh- Um.. Silvers.. There is no need to be shy.. I don't bite.. hard." She smiled, waving at Constance.

"Aww, come on! Tell me...please?"he asked giving her the look.
"And I'll protect you from falling....come on just give it a try, if you can't handle it....I won't force afterwards,"he said and hopped she would tell him what she had forgotten to tell him. "Pleas tell me Tempy?"he asked again still giving her the look. |
Temperance turned her attention back to Aleck. "Fine, I'll tell.. But, it's still a no to the horse." She took a deep breath, before sliding her hand beneath her belt. "It's in here somewhere.." She thought aloud, as she felt around. "Aha!" She exclaimed moments later, as she produced a piece of parchment paper. "Here.. It's from lady Adeline-" She pushed the letter into his hands. "-I warn you, though.. She's been deceased for a few years.. So, it might not hold much meaning to it anymore."

Constance eyes opened when she heard Temperance speaking to her." It's quite alright.You two are good friends and should catch up."Constance said.She lifted herself up and looked down at the two."I'm going to explore a bit.See you later."Constance gave them a small wave and she turned around going down the forest path.

Aleck nodded and then looked at the piece of parchment paper now in his hands.
"If you ride the horse with me, I'll do whatever you say!"he said smirking and opened up the letter and began to read it. |
