"Arathas....my name is Aleck." he said and listened carefully to her next question.
"Yes...why do you ask?"he asked getting a little curious. He didn't know who this Arathas really was but wasn't scared of her at all, she looked pretty harmless even though her sword was a little bigger than his. As she stepped forward, he stepped back...he didn't want this lady close to him. |
Arathas nodded.'Why do you search for her?....And thats a question not yet anwsered.Anwser mine and ill anwser yours.'Arathas said as her icey eyes remained on him and watching his movements.The wind gently grazed Arathas cheek.Ani..That is what Arathas normaly called her considering she didn't like her full name.Arathas hoped she was okay.
A gust of wind soon came in to the cave and landed on Anidori's hand.She looked down at her hand and sighed softly as the images of Arathas came to view.She slowly stood up out of her sleeping bag feeling the need to run after her and see if she was alright. |
"I search for her because I want to search for her and bring her back home to the kingdom of course." he said wondering why she had even asked a question she most likely already knew the answer to.
Arathas seemed harmless but for some reason he felt like taking out his sword, there was something about her that he didn't like already. |
Arathas kept her hand on the hilt of her sword just incase he tried any stunts.'My anwser to your question is..There is another woman who wishes to be the queen of this land and wants to take her out.I sugest strongly you keep on look out for her...and just to anwser the next question your proably thinking of is....I already found her.'Arathas said her face and voice emotionless.The way her words came out scared her,they where seriouse,elegant,and cut right to the point like sharp ice flying at a person.

Aleck sighed but became confused.
"You found who? the lady or the queen?" he asked raising and eyebrow at her. "You are quiet a confusing woman you know, what are you playing? you come in here and tell me things then confuse me? what's that all about?" he asked smirking. |
Arathas shruged.She knew what the wind was up to and decied to head back before Ani got too over stressed.'Figure it out yourself,see you around Aleck.'Arathas said as she turned from him which would have been against her nature but her sword was with her and she had no fear what so ever for the moment.Arathas kept her hand on its hilt and walked away into the woods.
Anidori looked around the cave.She wished it was just a dream but it wasn't.Anidori got up and headed towards the exit.It seemed Blade and her had a good night last night considering there was crystals in the cave.Anidori sighed and ignored it and started making her way out into the open area. |
Aleck sighed and watched her go.
"Very well Arathas....till we meet again." he said and walked over to his sleeping spot and lay down wondering who she had found. "If she found the queen, the kingdom would sent messengers to us saying we had to return...that hasn't happened...so i guess she found that lady...still very confusing." he said to himself and shook his head before falling to sleep. |
The sun broke threw the trees as arathas arrived to the edge of the forest that surrounded the water fall.She stared out as soon as Ani appeared.'Ani,im here im okay!'Arathas called out as she kept walking.
Anidori arrived right when the sun was rising and saw Arathas and took in her words and sighed with relief.She ran to her side as the wind pressed against her skin but she blocked out the images and walked along side Arathas.'So..how was last night?'She asked with a small chuckle and hurmored eyes. Arathas looked over like she was crazy and laughed.'I told Blade I loved him.'Arathas said softly as a small smile formed against her lips and her features filled with emotion. Anidori smiled.'Im happy you did...now lets hurry up and get back to camp.Im dying of hunger.'Anidori said simpley starting to take lead towards the cave.She soon went threw the twists and turns and lead herself and arathas to the cave.Anidori soon took her spot back on into her sleeping bag and rested for abit. Arathas nodded and followed Ani behind the waterfall and into the cave.Arathas smiled down at Blade and removed her armor siting it down on the floor.Arathas curled up in her sleeping bag and let her eyes remain on blade for a few moments and then softly kissed his lips pulling away slowly and laying back down.Arathas remained facing his way but simpley closed her eyes and let her body relax from all the walking she had done. |
In the morning, Aleck woke up and saw that Abel had begun to eat the grass.
"Good morning boy, sleep well? I had the weirdest thing happen to me last night. want to hear it?" he asked. Abel made a snorting noise. Aleck chuckled and went over to him and began to pet him and brush his hair with his fingers. "Well....some lady...I think her name was Arathas. Well she came over here and began to ask me if I was looking for the queen. I mean...what kind of question is that?! anyway, I said yes and then she asked me why so I told her because I wanted to return her to the kingdom. Then she told me that there was some other lady that wanted to kill the queen or something so that I should keep my eyes open for her. She didn't even give me a description of this queen killer. Then to confuse me even further, she said that she had found her...and she didn't tell me if 'her' was the queen or the queen killer....then she left as quickly as she had come." he explained shaking his head. Abel neighed and shook his head before continuing to eat. "I know boy...how oddly creepy." replied Aleck. |
Anidori woke up once again.She got up as quietly as possible and decied to go out near the waterfall.Anidori crept past everyone.She walked along the ledge listening to the wind as it gave her images of the camp that was near and the person there.Anidori just kept on walking along the ledge.She hardly payed attention as she walked and before she realised it she had already made it outside with the green grass beneath her feet.Anidori went over to the side of the lake and ran her finger tips threw the clear water.Today was the day they would have to head back to the kingdom,but the question is...'Should I return?'Anidori thought to herself as the small waves pushed against the shore.

Blades breath raced as his dream twisted into morbid pain and suffering.His eyebrows knit together as his body tensed and curled in on itself trying to hide from everyone.In the dream in the middle of everything he saw Arathas and he froze."Don't! Stay there i'll come get you please!"He yelled in his dream as he tried to run her but he was just running in place as if he was getting blocked by something.The flames around him grew bigger and bigger consuming him and Arathas as he felt the pain fill him and heard Aratha's screams in the dream.His eyes flew open and he looked at Arathas."Thank god..."He whispered and closed his eyes to catch his breath.

Arathas yawned sleeply opening her eyes to look at him.'Blade..'Arathas murmured softly her eyes filled with concern as her eyes brows raised.It was clear he had a nightmare but this time she wanted to hear his thoughts...if only there was a way to actully be inside his head and hear and see what he thought about all the time would make this so much more eaiser.

Blade sighed softly and shook his head letting his finger tips trail across her cheek softly."It's nothing...just a dream.."He said quietly taking a shaky breath and smiling softly at her.He left his hand there gently on her cheek and sighed."It was just.."He started and then stopped not knowing if he should actually say it...

Arathas stared at Blade for a few moments.She closed her eyes for a brief moment as his hand slid across her cheek.Then,Arathas opened her eyes and watched him as he slowly stoped telling his story.'Blade,you can tell me...'Arathas whispered to him trying not to wake up anyone incase they where asleep.

Blade smiled softly at her."I know...it just scared me is all..."He said sighing gently as he laced his fingers with hers taking his hand from her cheek.His body was still slightly sore but it didn't matter anymore...what mattered was that she was safe..."Well..."He started softly."When I was younger my father had dropped a cigarette on the floor while he was asleep and woke up running out of the burning house...leaving me there...and the flames had consumed my room...I hadn't known what to do except break the window to get out..."He said to her softly letting the emotion filter out of his voice.He held his other hand that wasn't laced with hers and showed it to her.There were scares all over it from the broken glass that had went into his hand."And in my dream i had seen you across from me as the flames shot from everywhere...and I had already broken the window to leave...but I couldn't leave you.The last thing I saw was you getting consumed by the flames and your screams...I would have gotten you but when I tried to run to you something blocked me..."He said sighing gently."It had been so real I had thought it was true..."He said softly his eyes filling with emotion again as his thumb gently ran across her knuckles...

Arathas crawled out of her sleeping bag and into his just to hold him against her.She slowly took all of this in and sighed while running a hand threw his hair.'It was a dream...but what matters is how far you've come from that time..how you've made it all the way here with me...Blade I love you and I wouldn't let nothing happen to you...ever.'Arathas said softly.She hated it when he blocked out his emotions.It made it harder for her to comfert him but either way she always held him when he needed her and she never would let him go,for her words where true.

Blade smiled softly at her and let his thoughts go to her leaving the dream behind.'I know this...and I hope I never go back to that time..."He said his eyes shimmering with love for her.He sighed gently...again it wasn't him who comforted her...it was her who comforted him...it wasn't a bad thing he just felt as if he should be there for her more...but he didn't know how to be except be there...He gave her a smile and then gently kissed her lips."I love you too Arathas..."He whispered against her lips.

Arathas smiled warmly at blade.Once his lips met hers the same shock feeling rised up again and caught her off gaurd.Arathas slowly pulled her lips away from his just a few inches apart.She gently nuzzeled his cheek and relaxed.He was still cold from last night but not as bad.Arathas stayed in the sleeping bag with him and remained curled up against him.Arathas could swear her heart had picked up a beat,well when she was with him anyway.His breath was intoxicating,and she always felt safe.
Anidori decied to go see what Arathas could have possibley been doing in the forst.I mean she could have been using the bathroom...ew.Then again she could have been talking to someone.Anidori followed and listened to the wind as it lead to a camp up ahead.She had her hair back into a tight braid just incase she met up with the enemy. |
Blade smiled as he felt the shock that had came from her lips the last time he had kissed her.He gently let his arm sling around her waist holding her softly against him."Your so warm..."He whispered laughing slightly at his own statment.He let the smile stay on his lips as he held her.He loved how they both reacted to each others touch...

Arathas nuzzeled against his neck and kept her arms pressed against blades chest.'Well...im not the one that went the wrong way.'Arathas said in a teasing tone.She sighed softly wishing they could stay like this forever...perhaps one day they could come back here.Thats if they made it threw this,and they proably would considering whats all happend.

Blade smiled softly and let his eyes slip close."Hmmm well I wasn't in my uh right mind?"He said his voice soft and slightly quiet.He let his hand gently stroke her side in a motion that was almost absentmindedly but soothing.He let his mind stay locked on her letting the memory of his past lives die away never to be thought of again...He sighed in content opening his eyes and looking into hers.He smiled softly at her thinking to himself she's so beautiful...I don't deserve her...

Arathas smiled at him and gently rubed her nose against his.She kissed his bottom lip enjoying the feeling of his touch against her skin.Arathas smiled in content and stayed curled up against him.'I guess you could say that..'She whispered softly wraping her arms around his neck staring up at his beautiful eyes.

Blade smiled softly back and then stretched.He returned to absentmindedly stroking her side as he felt her lips gently kiss his bottom lips.He smiled slightly as he felt the soft tingle from her lips against his."Yes I suppose you could..."He said teasing slightly.

Arathas smirked by his teasing tone.'Hey!Thats my line.'Arathas said teasingly as she stared up at him.Her eyes were gleaming with excitment,it had been awhile since they had this kind of conversation except for back in the cave.Well..it wasn't really a conversation more like both of them being a tease.Arathas sighed softly enjoying this moment because she had no idea if it would be there last or not.

Blade smiled at her playfully."Is it...hmmm i'll have to think about this."He said teasingly kissing her cheek softly.He let his eyes stay locked with hers having the same thoughts...this might be the last time they could do this.He let his hand raise to her cheek and gently stroked it smiling as her soft skin touched his hand.
