Procrastinators Unite! ......Tomorrow. Welcome to a place for all of us procrastinators to hang out and chat while we put off those more important things (*cough*homework*cough*) that we should be doing. Random Things: I'm currently a full time college student in my Junior year. I'm studying English with an emphasis in Linguistics as well as a Japanese Studies minor. I love Japan and everything about it, other than the spiders....ew. Purple is my favorite color, if my font and avatar haven't told you that. I'm a very shy person in real life, but I love to chat and make friends online. I'm pretty easy to get along with, so stay a while and hang out? |

Distance education - both an awesome thing and a horrible thing. I'm doing one of my course like that and I haven't done anything for the semester. The final's tomorrow through Wednesday and then everything for the semester is due by Thursday night. I'm gonna be busy tomorrow, it looks like. *death* Medical receptionist sounds cool, though! I bet you can make some decent pay at that job. ^_^ I'll have to check it out a bit later. Laptop's being a pain right now and all that fun stuff. -_- I call it the craptop. I'm hanging out in Potato Land, USA. Bonus points if you know what state that is. xD How about you, if you don't mind...? I have no idea if I'll make it in time or not, but as long as I get a C in the course, I'm happy. ^_^ I can always re-take it if I need to.....I still have all the assignments and crap saved. It's just general Chemistry and a core class, so I'm not extremely worried. 6 months and then you can get the job? Or just one step to getting the job? |

Hi...I'm Adella...I procrastinate like hell T_T
Like...right now... I have finals as well. I'm 19 yrs old and in my 2nd year of college. Started when i was only 17 (obviously if you can do math!) I've got finals this week too. I didnt have anything to do today, as in Monday, and I won't have anything to do tomorrow except study, but I've been putting that off more than I should be...I have easy finals Wednesday, which is when all mine start...just a Computer Concepts final and an EnglishComp II final...just literary terms. Not hard at all but still gotta get some wording down right, ya know? Then the big one is Thursday. It's a math final. I have to make a 70 on the final at least to pass, since i have a 75 in the class. So I have to study my arse off tomorrow and should have been today...but ive been fiddling around on Mene. all day long. when i wasnt sleeping. X__X And right now i'm putting off a shower XD but im about to go get one. |
Azu - Ah, okies. How is it there? I have a friend that moved there a few years ago and I lost contact with him, sadly. I live in Idaho. We grow lots of potatoes. Best of luck with your course! Sounds nice if you'll be ready for a good job in just 6 months! I've got several years left before I can get my job... I have to revise two essays and make them all spiffy clean and perfect for my teacher tomorrow afternoon. I can't get the databases I need to do research with to work right, so I'm putting off finding another computer to work on. I do the thing with the shower, too. I do the same thing with the alarm clock! oh...and I have a craptop too!!! It was held together, literally, by purple duct tape and paperclips before i got myself a new one. |

Alarm clock ARE the devil. . .oooh and it pisses me off...around here my neighbors LOVE to be loud at like 12 and 1 in the morning while I'm...*cough*not*cough* sleeping XD and altogether disturbing me....If i ask them to quite down they get louder and more disruptive....but when 6 in the morning rolls around and my alarm is blaring for 30 minutes until i get up and turn it off....they expect me to turn it off for them and come banging on my door as loud as they can....they're a bunch of douchmunchers... anywho...alot of it has to do with I'm the only white girl on my floor. Nothing against colored people, one of my best friends is black, but they just don't like me 0.0; that and I'm the only straight girl on my floor...Nothing against lesbians and gays because believe it or not Ive got tons of gay friends. Im just straight and I love my fiance and his...um...extra appendage XD and i'm the residence assistant for my floor -_-; so they automatically hate me...gaaaahhhh XP |
You should pull some kind of prank on them that they can't trace back to you....like a string across the bottom of the door so they trip or something like that. Then you can sit back in your place and laugh when they fall. xD Just something little and mostly harmless. ^_^ I understand what you mean, though. I'm not racist, but I've had very few good experiences with Mexicans. Usually I'm almost getting hit by the ones that can't drive like intelligent humans. -_- Extra appendage. xD I LOLed at that. ^_^ They are fun, no? xD Speaking of fiancee, mine is telling me to get off his side of the bed so we can sleep and get up for class early tomorrow. lol. I would pull a prank but there are cameras all in the hallways. we were having issues with things being stolen and damaged off the doors. people like to decorate them and stuff, with markerboards. so you'd imagine the awful messages that were being displayed.

I always wanted to live in college dorms... unfortunately it's a little different in Australia, we have dorms and stuff but sometimes it works out cheaper to just live close to the university ^^ I actually stayed in my (guy) friend's dorm and we had to be all stealth-like because he lives in like a Christian-type dorm.. so they're not allowed to have girls stay over hehe so that was fun ^^ Hm a lot of people seem to be engaged on Menewsha... >.> nothing against being engaged (I'm 20 as well and living with my boyfriend at the moment) but I just don't know... I want to get married but someday, probably not just yet. There's still heaps I want to do and see and accomplish ^^ I guess I just like being independent xD |

Yeah it does sound annoying with your neighbours XP although I usually do the same thing with my alarm (try to leave it going, ignore it and then press snooze) ^^
I have really horrible neighbours where I live, well they live across the road and a few houses down, they always blare music really loud and it's often the most horrible stuff XP I know it's way late now but good night WhiteDarkness ^^ |
Adella - That sounds like a very fun and bad idea....the markerboards, that is. I'd go around writing random things on them if I lived there. xD I'm sure mine would look at me like I'm a weirdo if he read it too.....And I'm sure he'll see it at some point in time since he's on Mene too. It was a nice sleep until I had to get up and rush to finish up my English final this morning. T_T That's what I get for procrastinating, though. *sigh* Azu - I always thought the dorms sounded like fun, too. I had to stay in them for a night when I first got into the college as part of orientation. I thought they were really nice and I liked it there, but I have too much stuff to fit in a dorm room and I'm not sure that I could get along with too many female roommates. I get along better with guys for the most part. There's nothing wrong with waiting for marriage and engagement. ^_^ I agree that 20 is a bit young, but I've also never felt as right with anyone as I do with my fiancee. We've been through a lot recently and it's only brought us closer together instead of tearing us apart like it would have if it was either of my exes.
