Lawrence tilted his head, as he picked his phone back up. "Wyatt, meet us up at the mall...see you." He hung up, then eyed Josh curiously.

holding up a nicely wrapped package he held it out. "this is a think you, for being my friend and for trying to help me when I needed it the most."

Lawrence took the package, curiously, and studied it for a moment. Then, he started opening it up.

inside lay a set of shirts, they were simple and not like any he had seen before. they also had been tailored to fit him perfectly. "I hope you would wear them. I know how you hate having money thrown around and I thought since they were not my color but more yours that you would wear them. mom bought me a bunch of things and those I just would not wear."

Lawrence shuffled a bit, then smiled, adjusting his glasses nervously out of habit. "Thank you very much..." He paused, then glanced at the clock. "Want to get going? The mall is only a short walk from here...unless you want me to call Wyatt again so we can ask for a ride."

"I was hoping you would try those on first." Josh looked a little hurt that he was not wanting to try them on. "I had them fitted down to your size."

Lawrence blinked, then scratched his head. "I don't want to make Wyatt wait, since he's impatient--if we make him wait, he'll come looking for us here. And that's not good...he's everything the Dean wants out of his school. I'll try one on for you." He began to shrug quietly out of his current shirt.

"ok one will work... if you will wear it to the mall." josh smiled.

Lawrence frowned, then checked the time again once he had his original shirt off. "Okay, fine. You win." He shrugged himself into one of the new shirts.

smiling he looked him over. "you look wonderful, and I made sure they were easy to put on and take of, no fuss." turning Lawrence towards the mirror. "now what is wrong with looking like that?"

Lawrence fidgeted, then glanced away. "I'm not fond of making myself look nice. I only care about comfort, really..."

"Lawrence, those are comfortable and they look good." josh sat back down on the bed. "would you at least dress up for me once in a while?"

Lawrence grumbled. "Fine, fine, these are an exception. But there are things I refuse to wear, because they're uncomfortable..."

"so anything I find that is comfortable you will wear?" Josh was happy to see that he might be able to get Lawrence to look better. maybe latter he could change the glasses.

"Yeah, I guess," Lawrence replied, shrugging. "If it's comfortable and not expensive, I guess I'll wear it."

"you will never know the price of what I buy for you dear." getting up josh held out his hand. "shall we go you and I"
|
Lawrence frowned, unhappy about that, but took his hand. "Yeah...best not to make Wyatt wait."

"yes it would make him fear that his worst fears of me were true." smiling he kissed Lawrence before dragging him out of the room.

Lawrence went with him, hoping Wyatt wasn't too impatient. Wyatt had always been bothering him to date, so he hoped this would appease him.

as they reached the enter way Josh stopped. "umm you lead I dont know the town." he fallowed Lawrence out.

Lawrence happily led the way down semi-crowded streets until they reached the entrance of a very large, very crowded building. "Knowing Wyatt, he'll be by the ice cream shop...this way..." He led the way in.

Fallowing Josh smiled at the looks that some of the girls and boys gave them. ~I think they are jealous of us, or of one of us I am not sure.~ mentally he hugged Lawrence. ~I would never give this up for anything in the world love.~

Lawrence smiled. ~Glad to hear that.~ Then, he paused, seeing the ice cream shop up ahead. ~Okay...let's go in...~

~your leading love.~ fallowing him in he watched the people around them. which one of them was Wyatt?

Lawrence looked around, and then all the hair rose on the back of his neck. A very creepy-looking seventeen year-old was hovering around behind him, eyes studying Josh rather curiously.
