“Only no broken bones?” his smile was cold, he ran the knife down along Hirsch skin. Its cold edge gliding along his skin. “or do you have other things you don’t like?”
“WOW! Your…. Your…. I don’t know what to say but your….” He wanted to say lovely but that was not even close to what he was. |
Termad grinned, toothily, and then lowered himself onto the ground. "Hop on." His voice was like a mixture of his own and a deep, unidentifiable voice.

Looking him up and down Adam tilted his head to the side. “ummm where am I to sit?”

"My back is big enough," Termad replied, pointedly. He furled his wings up slightly, so that he could fit onto his back much more easily.

"ummm" he climbed up onto him trying to find a good spot where he would feel comfortable and not be hurting Termad.

Since Termad was so large, he didn't seem to mind all the poking and prodding.

"alright let go and have some fun with your bodyguard." he healed on to Termad as well as he could.

Termad lifted up into the air and flew back over the city. Ophikael was deserted except for those who lived in the palace, it seemed. Termad landed on the runway and changed back, catching Adam. He then pulled him off of the runway just in time, so Velonin could land the jet.

wrapping his arms around Termad Adam smiled. "that was much fun, we will have to do it again." watching Velonin land Adam smiled. "he is really go at that."

Termad cuddled with Adam contently. "He's good at many other things, too," he purred, happily.
Velonin stepped out of the jet a moment later, pulling off his flying gloves. |
clapping Adam called out. "bravo Bravo, what a wonderful fight."

"Thank you." Velo shoved his gloves into his pockets and rubbed his hands together a few times. "Do you two still want to play, or what?"

"how could we not want to have more fun with you?" Adam said happily. "after that flight you have just gotten me more hot and bothered."

"...Catch me if you can! I'm running off to my room!" Termad sprinted off ahead of them, leaving them alone so they could walk to his room together.
Velo watched Termad book it with amusement on his face. "He needs a no-sugar diet." |
"ummm yah. his breakfast was not full of sugar this morning." Adam offered his arm to Velo.

Velo took it, though he visibly recoiled at first. Not used to contact with people other than Termad, it seemed. "Good."

“Not used to touching someone else?” Adam smiled, and then he kissed Velo on the cheek. “Don’t worry I don’t mind you pulling away. Lots of my lovers have done it before.”

"Oh, I'm used to touching Termad. And I'm used to being around my brothers. But not other people. As you can see, this place is deserted," Velo hummed as he started to walk with Adam into the palace once more.

"What happened? why are there no one here?" Adam looked around just noticing that there was the missing people. it had been bugging him but he had not known what it was. now that it had been pointed out to him he was confused at why he had not noticed, worried that it was something wrong and scared.... that one mainly because humans get that way when confronted with things they dont understand.

"There was a large, experimental nuclear power plant here. This dump, believe it or not, is Lichuen's capital. The reactor core incurred a major meltdown. Killed some people, drove the rest away," Velo explained. "Termad, my brothers and I, and the other guards are the only ones left."

"So how do you guys deal with the Raidoactive." Adam seemed interested in the answer.

"Oh, we're not affected by it. Some Formes are immune to it. Myself, Termad, and my brothers are immune. It's worn off over the years," Velo added, quickly. "It won't seriously harm you anymore. It may give you headaches. You shouldn't spend too much time outside without one of us with you."

“so how long ago was this melt down?” Adam seemed a bit scared but very interested. He kept looking around trying to figure out how long ago it really was.

"A long time ago. When Termad first took over." Velo looked around the hallway they'd just entered for Termad's room. "It was chaotic, then. Most couldn't take the radiation."

“How old is Termad?” Adam sighed and cuddled up to Velo arm more closely.
