Night Aisha!

I just got on Serebii to see the Pokemon you were talking about Shini (haven't checked the site for about a month now :gonk: ), and I am in LOVE with the grass Pokemon! It's so cute and sly-looking! :squee:
I typically go with the fire type, since fire types are usually hard to get early on in the game... Plus, I've always had a thing for Cyndaquil. Anyway, I have LeafGreen and used to play the original Gold back in the day - before I stupidly traded with a kid for his Yellow... It was only to be a 2-week trade, but I never got it back. :gonk: And then his Yellow was stolen from me. :( But I love the new version of Gold, personally. It's pretty amazing. I love the 3D feel. :P And I'm so buying Black/White. Not sure which one yet, since Black and White are pretty vague colors... I'm leaning towards White, but Black might be equally as awesome. :P (I think this is the first time where the Pokemon differences between the games will impact my decision on which I'll buy. :ninja: ) |

I hate the newer Pokémanz, too. The originals will always be my faves. :'3 |
I have Fire Red instead of Leaf Green, but it's still awesome. I usually chose the firetypes, too. Cyndaquil, Charmander, and Torchic are awesome. Piplup is really the only exception, cause I don't like Chimchar.
The new grass one is adorable. But I think the fire one is the cutest. It looks like a little piglet. :D |
Heh, I always choose the water types. Squirtle is my favorite starter. <3
I'm not really a fan of the newest starters... the leaf one is kinda cute tho, I guess. |

Squirtle is bad ass. I much prefer him over all the rest in LG.
And in HG, I have a Feraligatr at the moment. So I guess that I typically choose fire types, but they tend to bore me and I end up restarting the game to choose water instead. :ninja: But in Black/White, for the first time I'm leaning majorly towards picking that Grass starter! I love it oh so much! (Chikorita and Bulbasaur have nothin' on it!) I haven't played Diamond/Pearl or Crystal/blah blah blah, so I've only experienced Gens. 1 (you'd call squirtle/charmander/bulbasaur generation one, right...? maybe?) and 2 (...cyndaquil and the rest are generation two, right...? I fail at numbers! :gonk: ). But I've ALWAYS wanted to get Pearl, literally since it came out. I just didn't readily have the funds to get a DS and Pearl... So it took me a few years to get a DS and HG.  The joys of being a student! |
Hello everyone! We're discussing Pokemon?
|
Black/White?....srsly...? Jesus... *facepalm*
Anyways, I always favored plant types the most. |
The kids love lack of color these days, don't'cha know, demo? >_>
Ooh, what's your favorite pokemon? :O |
My first Pokemon game was actually Yellow because I liked the fact that Pikachu followed you around and my team was Pikachu, Pidgeotto, Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, and Jigglypuff... But I only have the first 151 memorised ;) When I work with kids at summer camp who ramble on about all the new ones I'm lost.
My SO explained to me how there are "four generations" and as a goodbye gift I was given Soul Silver, at least I see plently of familiar pokemon in there... I knew Lugia from the movie but generally I'm pretty scattered on anything that's not within the original 151. I did pick cyndaquil as my starter because I remember seeing a Trading Card Game deck based around him back when I used to run the Pokemon League at my first job at the Game Keeper, one of my old gaming stores I worked at. |
O_o' I feel so left out....I don't speak Pokemon. *scratches head*
Ah well, now I look more like a saboteur, ne? ^_^ |
My favorite Pokemon? I... really don't know. I'd have to say Jynx, though, since she pretty much sums me up.
I wish I had a job like that, Crow! :gonk: And truth be told, I only have an inkling as to all of the Pokemon out there. I haven't played anything newer besides LeafGreen prior to purchasing HeartGold, so I'm kinda still ambling through and discovering Pokemon I never even knew existed. :P That you do, Saravi! Nice job! :glomp: I always forget that Chakram item. I've had it since it came out, but I really just find it oh so dull! :P But it's nicely used in your avatar, I must say. |
Pokemon, guys, seriously? -__-
|
I love that you guys still remember what pokemons you picked during the earlier games. I think the first pokemon game I had purchased was blue and picked Charmander. And that's as far as I can remember. I attempted to get my hands on each game but after crystal came out I lost interest.
Although the new game does look pretty good. I'm tempted to steal it from the hubby and play around with it for a bit. xD @Saravi: Ooh, very pretty. I love your outfit. You really do like a Saboteur. |
@Suo- Yes, Pokemanz, you got a problem with that? >:I
|
*rolls back in*
Had to run an errand. On the way back, the road to my apartment had been closed due to an accident. The detour was really sketchy x_x |
Yeah, they're on black/white now. I'm hoping to see an orange one eventually. lol
I liked to use Bulbasaur occasionally. And my mom loves sunflora (even though she doesn't really know pokemon).XD I know my first game was actually yellow. I had Pikachu, Ratticate, Pidgeot, Primeape, Vaporeon, and I can't remember the last one. My favorite pokemon has always been Ninetales. Not sure why, but I love that pokemon. |
Oh sketchy detours are the worst. Sometime I wonder if they just pick a street and have you go from there. "Let's see how long it takes them to figure it out."
|
@ anna - Hell yeah, I do. :talk2hand:
*puts on her big girl pants* I stopped anything pokemon related many a year ago |
Thanks Facade! Thanks JellyInc! Yeah, I've never used the chakram before (because my avi is usually in cosplay) but I really like the way it turned out with this one. Hehe....I'm just waiting for the right time to use my stick of dynamite on the other team (which ever team I end up picking, lol). If anyone gets in my way, they'll find my hula hoop of DOOM most unpleasant. ^_^'
|
Sometime you do have to wonder if they really think those detours through. One time, they hadn't marked one well enough and my mom ended up driving down a dead end street.
|
The detour wasn't even marked D:
We had to use the GPS to try to find a way around it. Such a pain x_x |
See, I'm telling you. They pick a road at random, flag you down it and then call it a day. One detour we were on once took us in a giant circle when all we really had to do was make a right then go up the street a little and make a left to get back onto the main road. I was late for my appointment that day. I was so pissed.
@Shini: Oooh, that sucks. |
