Wait, I thought sirens were the evil ones? Mermaids are technically the same thing, but they have the good-Disney fairy tale vibe rather than the evil myth version.

Siren is just a lesser used term for mermaid. XD; Mermaids and sirens are both prone to luring men in with their voices and causing them to shipwreck.

I had heard that, but I find it hard to believe. Manatees are very ugly. They are so ugly that they are very adorable, but you cannot mistake them for a beautiful girl. |

I've never been to the ocean. >.>; Just the lake. I can swim well enough to move around, but I stick to the shallows because I am really pathetic when it comes to swimming. XD; I get tired extremely fast and I tend to sink...especially if someone splashes me in the face. >.o
