maybe, but it DID have the word "dread" in it

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:33 AM

Hahaha XD Yeah...I...think I liked being a panther. lol.
Not that I attended more than three football games my entire high school career but...eh. lol.

oh my God the puns!!!

at my high school we were The Braves. our local native americans were very proud of us and how we honored them.

Haha we were the Indians.......and we had a horrible song that went with a little dance.

Wow I really hated school. Everyone was obligated to be the same.

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:34 AM

Uniforms, Cherry? XD

BleedXWell 06-01-2010 03:34 AM

I only went to one basket ball game in my HS. I never liked sports.

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:36 AM

Bleed me either. I only went because there was a dance after one, and the other someone just asked me to go to hang out.

BleedXWell 06-01-2010 03:36 AM

I only went to two homecomings...I didn't go to prom... :/

-CrazyMuch- 06-01-2010 03:37 AM

our favorite song was the national anthem. we would sing it every chance we got. and at the end we'd all go, "and the hooome ... of the ... BRAVE!!!!!" it was great!!

JapaneseCherryBlossom 06-01-2010 03:37 AM

Cyndel: hmm u mean colors? we were gold and blue. or yellow and blue. hell I don't remember XD

-CrazyMuch- 06-01-2010 03:37 AM

we were crimson and gray

the senior gifts to the school the 3 years before us where each paintings. on the wall across from the office going upstairs, the wall behind the gym, and by the cafeteria. they were the most beautiful indian brave paintings I had ever seen.

Aemilia 06-01-2010 03:38 AM

We had a terrible anthem but I can't recite it without giving away the name of my school.

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:39 AM

Bleed: Haha I went to one Halloween dance, one home coming and I've been to three proms. XD; Juinor, senior, and then I went to my boyfriend's senior prom.

Cherry: No, I meant did you have to wear uniforms? You said you were all obligated to be the same. XD;

JapaneseCherryBlossom 06-01-2010 03:40 AM

Do teens still have the notion about having sex on prom night? Or is that just old news.....

Cyndel: oh no. But all of the people at my school were rich, loud, and obnoxious. If you didn't fit that category, you were a loner.

-CrazyMuch- 06-01-2010 03:40 AM

what's wrong with letting us know the name of your school?

BleedXWell 06-01-2010 03:40 AM

Yeah, I wanted to go to prom. My ex was supposed to take me. He backed out right before it. I had the dress and spent a ton of money on tickets.

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:41 AM

Cherry: Beats the hell out of me. >.> I didn't. lol. I've never done it. XD;

Bleed; Oh god...I would have kicked his ass. >.<

-CrazyMuch- 06-01-2010 03:42 AM

I didn't do the prom thing. our committee were a bunch of idiots and almost nobody went. they spent most of our prom money on our senior gift which was a freaking concrete bench that cost so much we didn't even get senior gifts ... usually the graduating students each get a gift ... the year before us all the girls got cedar hope chests and the boys got ... something else really cool I can't think of right now ... but we got nothing.

BleedXWell 06-01-2010 03:43 AM

Well he was already my ex. My mom said to let it go. I wanted to sue him. I really did.

JapaneseCherryBlossom 06-01-2010 03:43 AM

I didn't know people had senior gifts..........we didn't get anything, unless I didn't know about it. lol

Flish 06-01-2010 03:43 AM

Kinny's high school was the indians, and ONE person complained, so the marching band wasn't allowed to do the school song, nor the tomahawk throw... they had to be called the shooting stars. >.<

Aemilia 06-01-2010 03:43 AM

@Crazymuch: Hm, I guess it isn't bad. I'm just careful about giving personal details over the internet. My team were the Dexter Dreadnoughts.

Cyndel 06-01-2010 03:44 AM

lol I got a beer mug for my senior gift, but that was only because I was in choir. XD
Lmao don't ask...
The new teacher there (I was graduated already, went to see a concert) was like "Here is you...SWEET TEA mug" XD

we were indians too. Wow it's ironic because I thought americans killed a lot of them when coming into this country......

BleedXWell 06-01-2010 03:46 AM

We didn't get senior gifts. Honestly, I'm glad we didn't. I never liked my HS at all anyway.

-CrazyMuch- 06-01-2010 03:47 AM

yeah. we did NOT do the "tomohawk chop" .. it is just wrong ...

I don't know why, we just had a pretty close knit community for the most part and senior gifts were kinda par for the course ... but then, the year before the year before us they had a senior trip which was a cruise and I can't remember where they went right now ...
