"Well, at least you look like you had fun," Ryn spoke up. She was looking out of the windows at the sky and only just noticed that another woman had entered the relatively-empty gallery. The oddest thing about the woman was the staff floating alongside of her, but Ryn was growing accustomed to the magical races she was encountering here.

Margie had reappeared from her room after a long nap, refreshed and ready to meet anyone that happened to cross her way. The sorbet was so good earlier, she thought of ordering another one but decided not for a while.

She hadn't even looked outside the windows yet to see the view outside. Being terribly afraid of heights (except for being on an airplane) with wide open glass to look outside of, is something she still had to overcome. For now, she sat on a couch a safe distance away from the glass.

Seems I keep missing people. Not such good luck for this one today.

HIM_ROCK 05-31-2010 11:49 AM

Anyone here ?

Ryn Gray 05-31-2010 07:48 PM

Looks like just me... eight hours later. *giggle*

Syaoran_Li 05-31-2010 07:57 PM

Greetings everyone.

It got so lonely in the Lounge and hope to find people willing to chat.

Ryn Gray 05-31-2010 07:58 PM

How are you doing? This one seems to be the slowest/least-used of the event stickies, though.

Syaoran_Li 05-31-2010 08:02 PM

@ Ryn:

It has always been buzzing around, but guess people are busy in the States. It is Memorial Day.

Emasaurus 05-31-2010 08:06 PM

I wish I was busy. -walks in and takes a seat-
All I have planned all day is a one on one battle with this sinus infection or whatever this plague is. -sniffles- My nose is all stuffed up on one side. Is it ever enraging. I may have to get something from the bar to open my head up a bit.

Syaoran_Li 05-31-2010 08:15 PM

I have that too.

I am going to take a Clairtin pill so I can kick the allergies away.

It so sucks feeling sick.

Emasaurus 05-31-2010 08:20 PM

I concur. It does indeed suck. I thought mine was allergies too last night, but this morning I woke up with a sore throat and a plethora of other symptoms. -snortles-
I've tried just about everything. Various medicines, hot tea, cough drops, popsicles...they all offered temporary relief. I can't wait until tomorrow because then I can schedule a doctors appointment. For now, I think I shall try yet again to remedy my ails with a cold beer and a rousing go at Zelda: Twilight Princess. -grins and gets up to go to the bar-

Ryn Gray 05-31-2010 08:22 PM

Yuck, I wish you both well then. (And Legend of Zelda cures everything. *giggle*)

I had to work today. And of course, people are out shopping instead of enjoying our currently lovely weather and having a cookout or whatever. I don't get it, what's so important that you'd rather spend a nice day dragging your whiny kids around and forcing them to try on clothes while you argue with the cashiers over the sale price of a $5 item?

Syaoran_Li 05-31-2010 08:25 PM

@ Emasaurus:

That is what happen to me on Wednesday. I could not speak and I had a class presentation. D;

@ Ryn:

That sounds terrible. Well, if you do live in the states, that is happening because of the sales. D;

Emasaurus 05-31-2010 08:32 PM

Oh I am perfectly aware of its healing effects, Ms. Ryn. As for the shoppers....well no one needs to see me go on a big rant about the state of affairs here in the US. -sips at beer-

I am sorry to hear about your presentational plight, Syaoran. Hopefully your teacher will understand and be gentle on your grading. I hate public speaking -noticeably shudders-

If you'll both pardon my future late replies: I have a realm to save. I shall be back infrequently. Lovely chatting to both of you. -sips beer as she walks off-

Syaoran_Li 05-31-2010 09:11 PM

Lucky it was a group presentation, which he did understand that I could not talk at all.

He saw me working and that is what counts the most.

Same here, I come here chat a bit and then wander somewhere else.

-flops back down at a table- It's always the best to have teachers that aren't....well....-ponders for a moment to come up with more highbrow vocabulary- ....jerks.

-startled at sadrain-
-looks at empty beer bottle in hand-
......I may have had a touch too much....

Claudia 06-01-2010 01:04 AM

Drink something else?.

Emasaurus 06-01-2010 01:51 AM

While that is a valid suggestion: I only had one and mostly I was trying to start a conversation with sadrain. That is an unusual way to enter someplace, and I was intrigued. I appreciate your concern, though, Claudia. I promise I'm not breaking any laws and I'm perfectly fine. ;)

sadrain 06-01-2010 10:55 AM

Oh, I apologize for startling you... I always forget to keep my slightly ghostly nature low and hidden. However, if not here, then where I can be my self?

Axenblade 06-01-2010 02:03 PM

-Decides the -poof- back to Menewsha-land for a little while- 'Sup everyone~

Emasaurus 06-01-2010 05:14 PM

I should like to think everyone can truly be themselves here, sadrain. I was just not mentally prepar--almost runs into Axenblade--ed.
Gracious. I need to think of a more flashy entrance, it seems.

Ryn Gray 06-01-2010 05:47 PM

You and me both, Ema. I think I'm gonna have to learn how to twirl in like a magical girl... flashy and insane all at once! *giggle*
