Luchen swims around boredly. He finds a small fish swimming past him and grabs it, noiselessly breaking the neck. He then begins munching on it. He yawns until he sees another shape approaching him. He ducks behind a rock as he sees blue approaching him.
He watches the boy sourly, still hidden. His pink eyes narrow in annoyance. |
Lucius sighed as he swam. He was tired and more than a little lost. He paused swearig he saw movement. He sivered lightly narrowing his gray eyes, "Anyone there?" He called sharply peering out into the sea swimming ahead a bit. He scowled looking. he had seen something and he knew it. Unless he really was going crazy like his dad said. Which was exactly why Lucius was so far away from home and lost.

Luchen pokes his head out just enough so his eyes are shown. "Who's asking?" His voice is low and slightly irritable. As he waits, he finishes his fish. His pink eyes watch Lucius carefully, flicking over him for weapons. It seems like he's very paranoid. He floats against the rock calmly, though he's ready to attack at any second if needed.

Lucius stared at the eyes slivlgutpu relieved that he actually did see something. "I am…" He said slowly moving closer. He paused moving back a bit realizing it could be a trap. He tensed up quickly. He wasn't much of a fighter and didn't know what he would do if the pink eyed being attacked him. "I don't have any weapons…" He said softly holding his hands up palm first to show they were empty. He gave a small shaky smile.

Luchen nods, seeming assured. "All right. Why are you in this area of the sea? You lost or something?" He lifts himself up a bit more and settles himself on the rock in front of him. His scales are a deep blue color and makes his hair seem even brighter, if possible. He looks less wary now, and more amused. It seems like not many people come to that area.

Lucius dropped his hands down swishing his red tail a little bit, "Yeah....lost...." He said with sigh, "I got lost about 30 clicks that way..." He said gesturing with one hand then frowned, "I think.....It might have been that way..." He flicked his tail worriedly. He wasn't good at directions. He looked at the other sheepishly.

Luchen rolls his eyes. "Well, where are you heading? I may be able to help." He waits calmly, yawning a bit. Growing up in this area had serious advantages. Not like he never took a wrong turn, though. He shifts on the rock, trying not to slide down it.

Lucius sighed thinking. He pushed a stray strand of his midnight blue hair out of his eyes, frowning a bit as he looked to the boy, "Well I live in the North Artic…" He said looking down. "Do you know where it is?" He asked hopefully swishing his tail warily.

"In the totally opposite direction of here." He states this, looking amused. He shakes his head. "And it'll be too dark now to make any major progress."

Lucius frowned looking down, "Damn…" He said softly, "I dint know what to do then…I'll die if I stay out here…" He started to twitch his tail worriedly.

"Why?" He seems honestly puzzled. Of course, growing up in this area makes him a bit oblivious to how it is. His tail waves absently as he speaks.

"Sharks, Sealions, Polar Bears, Humans, Whales!" He said shaking, "I could be eaten...or maimed...or worse...captured!" Lucius said worriedly. It was clear he was out of his element and felt unsafe. "

Luchen rolls his eys. "Eh. Nothing will bother you if I'm around." He shrugs. "One of the good things 'bout growing up around here." He sounds and looks bored, but that seems to be normal for him. He stretches, making his back crack.

Lucius sighed relaxing as he swam forward giving him a hug, "Zomg! really you'll take me in and protect me!" Hea
asked pulling on him. |
Luchen grunts at the hug. "Sure. My tartlet of a father may not be thrilled though. ...Stuck-up old bat." He shrugs. "Oh well. Ready to head home?"

Lucius smiled nodding as he swam around happily, "Yes please..." He was relieved that he didn't have to spend a night out in the open. Though he was still a little bit wary of the other merman.

Luchen begins swimming until he reaches a semi-large underwater house. He pauses, looking in a window. His eyelids droop suddenly. "Oh, how lovely. Just who I wanna see," he grumbles, heading slowly for the door.
