Could you ever date a male stripper? Could you ever date a girl stripper? Lol, yes you should answer both questions, because I've found straight girls who said "yes" to both and straight guys who said "yes" to both, as well. I want to know what you think, and, in fairness, I'll answer them myself.

A male stripper: I...don't know. I'd feel really inferior, honestly. Those guys always are big....

A female stripper: Possibly. I have trust issues, though. I could probably do it. Maybe.

What are your thoughts?

Uhhh...either way, probably I could. Not if those people like stripping for the pure joy of it (not sure how many do, if any). Most people do that to make some quick bucks because the job market sucks. I've even considered it. Show a little skin and get to pay rent? Sure, why not. Beats prostitution or selling eggs. Haha. Those were jokes...

Male and female both, yes, provided they had a healthy attitude. I find those who enjoy their bodies incredibly sexy, regardless of what they look like. If they get paid for it, hey, more power to them. Sounds like more fun than a lot of professions. The attitude would be important, though. Many strippers develop a mentality that that's all they could possibly do, that their worth is based entirely on not only their body, but other people's perception of their body. While I certainly don't shy away from attempting to help people cultivate a more healthy view of themselves, it would be difficult to be in a romantic relationship with someone like that.

Male stripper: Maybe, depends on their personality, though their job might make me a bit uncomfortable.

Female stripper: See above.

I don't think I'd ever really meet a stripper unless they were absolutely only doing it for the money and a hearty laugh. I'm pretty sheltered in my social interactions, so just a stripper I would probably not meet. If they were really just doing it for money and laughed at it, I'd consider it, but I'd be really dubious.

Yes, I could either way. Considering the fact that I used to be a stripper, I suppose I'm a bit biased.

my mom was a stripper, so I honestly have no prejudices.

female stripper: obv, I'm planning on stripping my way through college.

I'd be good with both as long as they promised to remain faithful. xD I wouldn't want em doing weird things behind my back. >__> I'm pretty trusting with most people though, so it's unlikely I'd ever even grow suspicious of such a thing. Ono

male stripper: I probably wouldn't have a problem with it as long as I knew they were truly true to me and the stripping was only a job for them

female stripper: not into girls so wouldn't even consider

I don't know if I could date a male stripper and expect a serious relationship standpoint from his part. :lol:

I put it here instead of in Debates because it's not really asking for discussion(though discussion is open), it's mere asking the users their opinions. Like yours. :) I just wanted to know how each individual person felt about dating strippers. I actually had a thing with my girlfriend last night where she came clean with me and revealed that she's been doing something LIKE stripping, but only for one guy and not in person. Even THAT hurt (though I totally forgave her. :) She felt really really bad and she promised she's never going to do it again - and she never makes promises), so I've kind of had a taste of it now, so I'm changing both of my answers to "No, I doubt I could handle it." Then again, they wouldn't be doing it behind my back, so I don't really know.

Oh, not at all! :) I totally understand. You had an opinion and stated it. I just replied to it and explained myself. :) I've been a Menewshan for a while now and I tend to do the same thing from time to time. If a mod moves this thread to Debates, I'll completely understand why, but I genuinely don't think it belongs there is all.

yes and yes. just because they're strippers doesn't mean they sleep around everywhere. so yea I'd give it a go.

I'm not saying they would sleep around everywhere. Maybe I should've been more specific with my original post. What I was saying was, would you date a stripper provided he/she is totally faithful to you? Could you stand letting whoever look at her naked? Could you have it in you to deal with that?

Yes to both. Just because someone doesn't mind showing off their body doesn't mean their a whore. and if I honestly love someone, I'm not going to knock their profession. If they want to stop, I'll do everything in my power to support them. If they want to continue, same thing.

Heck, if they wanted to run a strip joint, good for them.

And, I think it'd be fun to date a stripper. They've got to be uber confident, at least about their appearance. They'd offset my extreme lack of confidence (appearance wise).

Haha. not sure really... I guess if they had a good personality, and like others have said, they were just doing because they needed the money and they could laugh about it, it'd be cool with it^^

Guys are not my thing so that answers for male strippers. Females... most female strippers have had boob jobs and those just make me sick. Those that didn't are probably single mothers or women just trying to make a living which I guess is fine...

I could date eather, provided two things:

-i knew they where doing before we go together
-i ment them in a non work related way (i'm not the call a stripper type, but friend could meet them that way...)

Hmm... in both cases it would be extremely difficult for me to maintain a relationship because I'd always be wondering what they were doing at work and whether or not they'd be willing to "go the extra mile" for the right price. Also, I don't like other people oogling my beloved... so that would definitely be a problem. D:
