Darrien smiled and took a bit of everything that was on his plate. He grinned once he swallowed. "Yup, your amazing." He grabbed his coffee, put some cream into it and then two spoons full of sugar into it. "I kinda like my coffee sweet. Like you are." He smiles and takes a drink, adds a little more sugar and then drinks again, finally getting it just right. "How come you don't drink caffeine anymore? Granted, I don't actually drink that much myself but why'd you stop?"
"I got sick from too much. When I was in high school, I was in a few classes that always had me studying. Plus I was an Angel at the time, and had a job. So caffeine was a big part of it. I was one of those people would have drink three energy drinks in half a day." She laughed a bit. "After a while I started to develop heart problems. So I just stopped all together." She told him. Completely honest about it. "I still have some problems now a days, but nothing like back then."
Darrien snorted. "Obviously not like back then. You run faster than most guys. Obviously, heart problems aren't much of an issue." He smiles at her. "I'm sorry that happened. And really? Energy drinks? Those things are freaking nasty. Give me a cup of joe any day." He finished up the food that was on his plate and looked at her. "Are there seconds? Its not like I have to have it, I have a lot of food in my belly, just tastes awesome and I'd love more."
"Of coarse not. I'm just so used to not drinking it now, I'll probably bouce off the walls." She said with a smile then nodded. "Yeah, the blue Jolt was my favorite. I don't understand it much either, and of coarse there are seconds. Right in the kitchen." Ava told him, not even finishing her food just yet.

Once the elevator door's opened up, he walked out of the old building. He gave a quick look around for any fan's that my have followed the taxi and staked out the building, then began to run into the main city. Since it was still early, there wouldn't be too many people and cars crowding the street, but in two hours there would be which would only make his job harder. It took Kiske about half an hour into the main city, but once he was in he began looking for back alley's. When he found one he like, he began looking for anything he could climb to get to the rooftop. He quickly found a drainage pipe, walked over to it, got a good grip, and began to climb up the pipe, towards the roof. When he was finally on the roof, he walked over to the waist high edge and leaned down, placing his elbows on it,"Alright, let's hope this person is close by." Kiske just shut his eye's and began listening to the wind and the small amount of people on the streets.
Darrien grinned. "Sweet. Are you gonna finish your food?" As a guy, he was used to eating quicker but he didn't watch many others eat, so he didn't know his pace was slightly abnormal. He got up and dished himself another plate of food and then sat right back down, this time in the seat next to Ava's. He did it like it was his seat to begin with, not saying a word.
"I eat slower than you do!" Ava told him as he got up. She finished her plate a few minutes later, and was just snacking on some extra bacon and drinking her juice. She had noticed Darrien ate very fast. It probably came with his job, always needing to be somewhere at a certain time.
Darrien grinned at her. "Good for you then." He finished he plate pretty quick and then sat back, looking at her. He didn't say anything, just looked. He had found a while ago that he liked looking at her, though he didn't quite get why until recently.
Ava was completely obvious to him looking at her. She infact was just looking to the wall, finishing her food completely. After a bit she wiped her face. "I'll take your plate." She said turning to him, gaining a slightly confused expression. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Darrien grabbed his plate before she could then put on an innocent face. "Like what?" He got up and took his plate to the sink, rinsing it off.
She shook her head and stood up, taking her own plate into the kitchen. There wasn't much cleaning to be done since she did most of it while Darrien was in the shower. Ava went about putting the cream and other things away. "I should probably get ready to go see them in a bit huh.." Ava said, a bit of worry was in her voice.
Darrien smiled a little. "You'll be fine. I actually should go get to sleep....Especially if I'm going to be awake for a date." He grabbed her hand and pulled her into a hug. He really couldn't resist. "Just remember to talk about your stalker and the michael stuff too. Do not forget about that with having to learn about the demons too, okay?"
"You should. You really need it." She told him as she was pulled into the hug. Ava hugged him a bit tighter. She listened carefully as he reminded her about everything. "Don't worry. I'll remember very well. They will have to escort me out of there if they don't want to tell me anything." She said to him. Dealing with her bosses was like pulling teeth. They were extremely secretive, and stood their ground very well.
Darrien grinned and kissed the top of her head. "That's my girl. Well, I guess I should be going. When should I pick you up?" He smiles and chuckles a little at that. They lived almost right next to each other, so that line sounded a bit funny to him.
"Just give me a call when you wake up. I may go to the gym, or to do some shopping." Ava told Darrien, smiling up at him. She did not feel at all nervous about going, since she had to speak with them about four times a week on average. She was more nervous about the results she could get.
Darrien smiled and nodded. "Alright, will do. I'll see you tonight, Ava." He kissed her forehead and then left with a glance back and a bright smile. He went to his apartment and changed into the pajama pants he had on earlier. He gets into his bed and falls asleep, the smell of Ava all around him. Not that he really recognized that until he wakes up sometime later.
(Yay! now both my characters are asleep :XD) |
Ava closed the door after Darrien then processed to get ready. She showered, changed and did her hair to present her much better. She drew a deep breath, gathering everything she needed then left her apartment, heading for the elevator to which she road up to the very top floor. As soon as she got out, security checked her in. Strange how they had their own security. Though the two men had a very different, and almost holy feel to them. She was granted entry, and went into the very white room. In front of her were five people, all wearing gold and white.
"Ava Locke. To what do we own the pleasure of this meeting?" The person to the left spoke. Ava drew in a deep breath. "I am here to demand you tell me the entire sitution." She spoke clear, and rather sharply towards them. Silence engulfed the room as the same person spoke. "You have things to show us." Ava went about showing them each and every little thing. Including details on the meeting, and certain uncertainties of the team. She stopped, placing the folders back down on the round table in front of her and crossing her arms behind her back. The same person just laughed, but Ava then pulled her phone out, playing the message she had received. After it was done, she gained a very serious face, "..And I demand to know what the meaning of this is." The table got very quiet again, only this time the head of the table spoke. "Ava Locke.." He said in a horse voice, "There is so very much to learn.... You understand so little.. ((10 points if you can tell me where that is from!))" The voice said, raising his hand a bit. "Your one piece of advice Ava Locke, Listen to your instincts." Two guards then appeared by her side and escorted her out and to the elevator. Ava held a very calm composure until she made it back to her apartment. From then she took heavy breaths, grabbing her gym cloths, completely furious. She didn't even talk to anyone as she passed in the halls. Ava the few minutes of running, Ava went inside, changed and went right to the punching back to work off some anger. |
Kiske's eye's snapped open when more people crowded into the streets and the noise began to raise. He started climbing down the side of the wall, knowing that people were watching him. When his feet touched the ground, he took off in a specific direction. It took him a matter of minutes to get to where he needed to go. The docks.
The car blaring it's horn could be heard from where he stood. At the moment, Kiske stood directly in the path of the car that seemed to be out of control. All the car did, was keep honking the horn and the driver swung his arm to the left, telling Kiske to move. When the car got to about thirty feet from him, he side stepped just enough for the car to drive by him without hitting him. The car drove over the docks and into the water, coming to a jerking stop as it hit the water. Slowly the car began to sink, the driver was slamming his fists into the windows and doors, trying to get it open. Kiske simply took off his jacket and slid down his goggles and ran to the edge of the dock. He waited a few minutes for the car to sink a little more, knowing he wouldn't be able to get the door open until the pressure inside and outside of the car hit equilibrium. When the car seemed to be deep enough, Kiske dived in, letting some air escape his mouth so he would sink a little more. He swam to the drivers door and opened it up without much effort. He pulled the driver out, whom was now unconscious, and began to swim to the surface. He found shore and pulled the driver onto it, beginning CPR as fast as possible. When the man began coughing, Kiske new he would be fine and he started to leave. He climbed back up to the dock the car had driven off of and retrieved his jacket, holding it over his shoulder. Kiske walked back to the main the street and began heading back into downtown. When he got there, he looked at his still dripping clothes and sighed,"Alright, I guess I'm heading to a laundromat before I head home." Kiske walked off in the direction of the closest laundromat. At the time though, he just hoped nobody recognized him as he walked there. |
Shane left the hospital after a while. He was on his skate board with his new helmet that Rae and Blake had forced him to wear. Honestly he was not amused in the least bit. He was skating down the street when he noticed someone with blue hair. walking in front of him a few ways. Shane stopped coming a bit closer to the man. "Oh my god. Your Kiske Mahiko!" Shane said. Him being completely new to the Angels, did not know he was in fact one of them.
Kiske turned around when he heard someone say his name, although he was genuinely surprised to see that it was a guy. A majority of the time, it was an overwhelming crowd of teen aged girls,"Look, I don't have anything to sign for-" It took him a minute, but he recognized the kid he was talking to,"Wait a sec, aren't you Shane Catch?" He had seen the kid once, but didn't get a good look at him. Kiske looked back down at his dripping clothes,"Listen, I'm heading to a laundromat. Your welcome to tag along, if you want. I just want to get there quickly before any fan girls see me, alright?" He gave Shane a quick smiled and turned back around, walking in the direction he was going before. The laundromat, he hoped, was a couple of blocks away.
"Why are you going there?" Shane asked him, wheeling next to him on his shateboard. Every now and then he would put his foot down in order to push himself forwards on the ground. Something then came to him like a ton of cricks. "How did you know me name?" Shane asked him again. Never really waiting for an answer to each question. "What are you doing around here in the first place? Do you love here? Where do you live?" Shane was pretty much bombarding the man with questions. He sadly did like his music, even though most of the songs were made for girls. They were very catchy and got stuck in your head easily.
Kiske started chuckling as Shane began to ask all the questions,"You really are new, aren't you? After I get my clothes cleaned and dried, your welcome to follow me to my 'home'." He made the last turn around a corner and the laundromat was in sight, right down the street. He looked back and forth, knowing that pedestrians saw him and were calling their friends. Kiske picked up the pace, trying to get to the laundromat before anyone came up to him and asked for an autograph. Luckily he made it and waited for Shane to catch up. He patted down his pants for some change and found a few quarters. Kiske opened up one of the dryers and tossed his jacket in. He took off his shirt and tossed that into the dryer as well. After he took everything out of his pants and put the contents on top of the dryer, he threw his pants in there as well. Finally, he was wearing nothing but his boxers, which were covered up when he asked the owner of the laundromat for a towel.
Shane laughed as he went into the laundry mat. Seeing Kiske in only a towel. "Doesn't your apartment have a washer and dryer? I know mine does, so I don't see why yours doesn't." Shane said to him. Taking a seat on one of the chairs. He would have to meet Ava at the gym at around three. But luckily now was much earlier in the morning. So it wouldn't matter much.
((Writers Block >.>)) |
Kiske shrugged,"Yeah, it does, but I'd rather not walk all the way there in dripping wet clothes. Not very comfortable, know what I mean?" The question was, of course rhetorical. The clothes wouldn't take that long to dry off, which was good because he wanted to leave before any more people saw him.
As he got up and took out his pants from the dryer, he heard screaming and yelling coming from outside. Since curiosity tended to the best of Kiske, he went to go check it out. When he stuck his head out the door to the laundromat, he instantly regretted it. He pulled his head back inside and looked at Shane,"Do me a favor. Go outside and throw my shirt and jacket a the giant crowd of fan girls that have accumulated out there." He quickly dropped the towel and put his pants on, followed by his shoes. He grabbed all of his stuff, then looked back a Shane once more,"If you quick enough, you should be able to catch up to me. I'm heading out the back." He began walking towards the back door, but turned around as he opened it,"One more thing. Don't stay in front of them for very long. Throw the shirt and jacket, then run like all hell as broken loose." Kiske gave him a thumbs up and took off out the back door, heading towards the his home. |
Shane nodded, Taking the Jacket and Shirt. The Owner of the place was starting to get a bit worried. Well who wouldn't at the big crowd of girls. Though the back with him. Taking off his own sweatshirt and handing it out to Kiske. The girl outside wouldn't recognize him if he wore each others clothes. Shane himself put in Kiske's sweatshirt, putting the hood up. It would get the girls away from him after all. Plus, Shane loved the idea of being chased by the giant crowd of fan girls. Shane ran out the front door, throwing his board a few feet in front of him and hoping on. Gliding as fast as he could down the street. The girls were on his tail.
