Kiske took Shane's sweater and pulled down over his head, before Shane left on his skateboard though,"Thanks man. I owe you one." He took off, again, and continued his run towards the outskirts of the city. In about, fifteen minutes, he made it to the old building and went inside, hoping that Shane hadn't gotten trampled by the crowd of fan girls. Kiske made his way to the elevator, but didn't go down. He just stood, waiting at the door.

Shane cam walking into the building probably a half an hour later. His clothes were torn apart. He was missing a shoe, and his hair was messy. Not too mention he had a very big red kiss make on his right cheek. Shane walked in, limping a bit, though he didn't seem to be in pain. He saw Kiske by the elevator and wondered up to him. "That.." He started slowly, "Was so much fun!"

Kiske laughed when Shane came into sight,"Yeah, in the beginning running away from fan's is pretty fun. Sometimes it's even better if you get caught, but after awhile it get's kinda annoying." He hit the button to call the elevator, but it was already at the top so the door just opened and Kiske walked. He held the open door button,"This is where I live. Well, below is where I live." He stood in the elevator and waited for Shane to follow him in.

"Oh, I live right near the elevator. The first small apartment there." Shane told him, stepping inside. Taking off a few pieces of clothes that were nothing but rags now. He held them in his hands for now. Though he handed a few of them to Kiske. "That is your sweatshirt. Or at least part of it." Shane said to him with a small laugh.

Kiske let go of the button when Shane entered the elevator. When Shane told him which room was his, he laughed,"Seriously? I live two rooms down from you." His laugh stopped when Shane handed him the remaining pieces of his jacket,"Damn. This was not a cheap jacket. All well, comes with the job." He held the pieces and just stared at the them the whole elevator ride down. When the doors opened, he snapped out of his trance and smiled again,"After you."

Shane got out of the elevator. Laughing a bit as some of the other Angels stared st him. Some of then were shaking their heads at him. But that was to be expected. Shane was an idiot sometimes after all. "oh sweet! you do? I hate being the new guy around here. Hell, Ava still says I'm in training, but I have already saved like.. five people!" Shane said to him. In a very childish way.

Kiona tossed and turned as dreams and things plagued her sleep. Awful things were there, nightmares that she hadn't had since she was much, much younger. She moaned and groaned as she tossed and turned.

Ava was breathing heavily as she worked. Beating the punching bag as much as she could. She stopped after a bit. Still angry, but quickly waring herself out. That was the point. After all, this was how Ava handled her anger. Beating the living crap out of the gym punching bags.

Shane headed down the hallway with Kiske. Though the young boy stopped at Kiona's door. "I should really apologize for yesterday." He said to him as he knocked on the door. Waited a whole second then knocked again. His third time doing it he even added a long "KIIIIIOOOOOOOONNNNNNNAAAAA!!!!" |
Kiona was still sleeping when Shane had gotten there. At her name, she sat bolt upright, screaming. Though her eyes were open, she was still unconscious. Her eyes weren't the hazel they usually were but full black. Of course, they are hard to see in the black of her room. The scream was loud, and high pitch, something that she should never have been able to reach. The hands that clutched the bed sheet so tight seemed to glow in lines that were slowly crawling up her arms the longer she screamed.

Shane heard the scream from inside the room. He stepped away from the door a bit, looking over to Kiske. He then stepped closer to the door again. "You alright in there??" Shane asked, fanatically trying to turn the door nob, but it was found to be locked. "Come open the door!" He told her. Not really understanding what in the hell was going on.

When Shane looked back at Kiske, all he did was shrug. Out of all the other Angels, he knew Kiona the least. Even now, he knew Shane better than the Angel that was screaming in her room. Kiske tapped Shane on the shoulder,"Isn't there a key that opens all the doors?"

"Wait, maybe we can barge it down!" Shane said to Kiske, not really listening to him about the key. Taking a running start for the door and slammed himself into it, falling back. "Ouch!" He said getting back up, using the door nob as a hold. He accidentally turned in the opposite way he had been trying, and it opened. "Really!?!?!" Shane called feeling like a complete idiot.

Kiona's body shot backwards, away from the light that the open door let in. Then the tattoos of light that almost got to her shoulders disappeared as her black eyes returned to normal. The screaming stopped and she looked bewildered, scared. "What...What the hell?" Her hands were shaking as she clenched them into fists. |
Kiske sighed and smacked the back of Shane's head,"Do that first next time, preferably before you try to bust down a door." He chuckled though, then remembered why they were standing in front of the door,"Kiona, you alright? We heard you screaming earlier."

Shane fell back down to the floor again as Kiske hit up. He was already dizzy from slamming himself into the door. "I am going to have brain problems when I grow up." He said to them both, standing up and dusting himself off. "Yeah, are you alright?"

Kiona looked at them, eyes reminscent of a wild dog. Then she was back to normal, her hands let go and relaxed at her side. "I..." She frowns when she sees Kiske. "Who're you?" She was going into defensive mode. "What are you doing in my room?"

Kiske put his hands in front of him and stepped out of the room,"Alright, Shane you talk to her then." He put one hand against the door frame and put most of his weight on it.

"This is Kiske, that sexy- I mean.. another Angel. He was on tour for a little while." Shane said to her. Putting his hand behind his head in an embarrassed way. He had almost called another man sexy. Well, more like he did. He put his hands back down to his side. "Well anyway, I wanted to say sorry for yesterday in the hallway."

Kiona closed her eyes for a few seconds, counting to herself as she did, calming. Something felt so wrong. When she opened them, she smiled a little. It wasn't big but it was there. "Oh. I'm sorry, Kiske. I just...am not a big fan of people, I suppose. I'm Kiona. And don't worry about it, kid. I'm part to blame as well." That's when she remembered her elbow. Damn. She looked at the two standing there. Is he really a kid? I can't tell.
"Do either of you want something to drink? Least I can do for being...mean." She got up off her bed and went to the door. She had to lean over Shane a little to turn the dial. She didn't put the light on full blast, leaving it dim because of the headache that instantly sprang. "Sorry," She mumbled, and went over to her little kitchen. "Name it and we'll see if I have it." She wasn't even aware of the fact that she was still only in her sports bra and black spankies as she looked at them, waiting for an answer. (I couldn't resist the spankies :XD) |
