((I'm going to skip ahead a few hours. Sorry everyone..))

Ava was at the main building. The building was very high. The first few floors belonged to a business, while the higher floors belonged to them. Ava walked down the hall. The time was much later now, about seven o'clock. In her hands were a bunch of papers as she headed towards her bosses room. Only she got to see him more than once. Everyone else met him when they were first given the job, and very rarely after that. She had left the gym earlier than everyone after she got a very strange call. Her eyes scanned over the sheet in front of her. They would all be having a meeting very soon over something new and strange that had come up. Ava headed into the lounge and took a seat on one of the few couches. Sighing a bit to herself as she flipped the page. "not good... not at all.." The brown hair women muttered.

Darrien lounged shirtless in his apartment, watching what little tv he got. He had gotten angry at Shane, still not believing that that brat of a kid was one of them. He growled, wondering how Ava could stand the kid. He sighs and clicks off his tv. He was getting bored, like he usually did in the evenings. He was off duty today, so there was no work for him tonight. Maybe I'll get a txt, he thought. Then he shook his head. No reason to be wanting somebody's life to be in danger.

Kiona walked around the Angels complex as she had a tendency to do every now and then. She liked to see the paintings and pictures that sported the walls, most times done by other Angels or of other Angels. It was history and it wasn't hers. It gave her respite from thinking all day long. She ended up near one of her favorites in the back of a hall. It wasn't on display for the whole world to see because of the content. She had asked around about it and found out that the creator had been an Angel for so long, his mind had eventually warped, not being able to deal with the life and death situations. The painting was dark, his mind having found a way to escape on paper. It was mostly black and whites with hints of blood red here and there. She stood in front of it, admiring the workmenship. It was well done but so dark. There was a hint at a face, barely visible unless you found it, with the red streams acting as blood running down the face. She knew the story but she wanted to know what had gone on inside the mans head that made him create such a piece. She sighs. She would never know. He had died years before she joined of a drug overdose, trying to get rid of the voices and images in his head.

Ava relaxed a bit into the back of the couch. The TV played in the background and the front desk was nearby. After a bit she shook her head. Angered at when she was reading. How could someone do this? again she flipped the page, looking at a bunch of pictures on the next page. Suddenly her phone started to ring. The voice on the other line was very creepy sounding voice who was just breathing heavily, then hissed at her. Ava eyes widened a bit as she clicked the off button. Looking at the number. It read Unlisted. Ava shook her head, heading to the elevator and upstairs. It took a awhile going up, but maybe that was because she had just been scared half to death. That had been the fourth time the same person had called her over the week. The elevator doors opened and she got out. Walking the halls towards her own room. She saw Kiona on the way, looking at a painting. "Don't stare too long. You may go mad yourself." Ava warned. She remember that man. She had been very young and just joined the Angels. She had been one since she was thirteen, and the youngest in over two hundred years. The man who had painted them was second in command at the time.

"well.." Ava began, not looking up from the papers, "Guess we gotta send you to the mental hospital." She said very seriously, then laughed a bit. Ava looked up at the painting herself. "He was a very nice guy when I first met him, though his madness drove him to eventually end his life. He jumped off a bridge and they never found the body. They only know that far because there was only one witness." Ava told her. Looking back down at the paper, definitely hiding something.

"I was 13. He was my first call and I failed." She told her. Shaking her head a bit at the memory of Ava talking to him. He had told her that live was not as he knew it. How different things would be if he hadn't answered that call. In his final moments he even cursed god for some reason. Though Ava wasn't very religious herself. He jumped into the water. He could have lived, but the part he jumped into was only six feet deep.

"Yeah, that's what I was told back then too. You just really don't learn what death is until you see it, what I learned as a kid. Its the past now though." Ava told her. "Don't be sorry, your right of coarse. I'll just never understand why I was needed so young." She said laughing a bit.

"Not yet at least. Remember, you are still fairly new compared to some of us. But one thing about you, you've never failed yet. Sadly, it's like a car accident. It will happen..." Ava said to her. Pulling her phone out and looking at the time. "There is a meeting in half an hour. I should probably get everything ready." She said with a sigh. Ava honestly loved her job, but some of the secrets she had to keep, and some of the stress she had to deal with from the higher ups was just ridiculous. "I'll see you later." Ava said heading towards her small apartment in the complex. The apartments in the place came in many styles. From studios to two bedrooms to suites. Ava herself had a double floored studio. Meaning when she walked in the Living room and kitchen were there along with a bathroom to the side. But there was an upstairs that went up into her bedroom. it was a small cozy place.

Kiona nodded. "See ya." She continued to wander aimlessly through the hallways, seeing if there were any other things that decorated the walls that would catch her eye. As she went, her attention stayed more and more on the decorations until she managed to run into somebody, full body slam. "Hey!" She managed to get out before she toppled over on top of him. "Shit!" She all but yelled it. She had landed on the guy, it was true, but one of her arms managed slam into his skateboard, just above her elbow hitting on the truck of the wheels, and it hurt like...well, it hurt really really bad. A little trickle of blood ran down her arm as she lifted it to look at it. She growled at it, not realizing she was still on top of the boy.

Rae ran as fast as she could looking for the person she was suppose to save. She just smiled as she saw Blake appear beside her and rolled her eyes. "I guess we are the team angels then. Have you noticed we are the only ones who work in pairs?" She said as she ran passed him avoiding cars and people as she ran. Rae looked over her shoulder as she heard him and shook her head. Did he really just say he loved her. "You are crazy you wait till we are on a mission to tell me this? And no I am not seeing anyone." Rae turned her head as she saw Shane and followed Blake keeping perfect pace with him. She hopped he was good and let out some curse words as they neared seeing blood coming from another girl. She knew Avi was going to be out raged and this.

Blake just smiled as he heard Rae. Her red strikes made her look like flash from the justice league as she ran at a much faster pace than him. He kept up with her and just smiled as he wandered where she came up with her random thoughts. Though she was correct they where the only member of the angels who always got called together and only at random times. They only got called out if there was a major emergence and many people could get hurt or if one of the angels was in troubled. He really hoped it was neither today but knew better. "I don't know but I don't mind it I love working with you. And if you must know I love you too. Now do you see and angel or any one who looks like they need help? They have to be close. When else am I suppose to tell you? We are always busy helping others we don't have any free time besides this. And look over there Shane!" Blake quickly turned and bolted to where Shane was running at full speed with Rae beside him for once when they ran. Blake shook his head as he quickly pulled out the first add kit from his back back and thew the back pack on the ground before Shane. "Do we want to know what you did this time? Oh man Avi is going to kill us."
