Darrien chuckled a little. "No, I'm good. You take the bed. Get some sleep Ava. Tomarrows going to be interesting, I'm sure. Sleep well, if you can."
Ava nodded and stepped up to Darrien, giving him a small kiss on the head. "thank you for everything." She whispered before stepping around to right side of the bed and climbing in.
((Woot, Fresh meat joined^^ Sorry Chello, he took Blake's spot in the ranking.)) |
Darrien was actually a little shocked, staring at the opposite wall. He really wasn't expecting the kiss, even if he was just to the forehead. He sighed and hit his head gently against the bed. He was trying to knock some sense into himself. He sighs one more time and the grabs a blanket, pulling it over his outstretched legs. He was quiet when he said, "You don't have to thank me. Goodnight Ava."
(WHOOHOOO!!! :P) |
Kiske stood on the stage at Sun National Bank Center, waving to all his fans. He had just finished up the encore that they all yelled out for and was now talking into the mic,"You guys were great! But I gotta go now, hopefully I'll be back some time soon!" He left the stage, guitar still hanging onto him by the strap, and headed backstage, towards a back door. There was a taxi waiting for him outside, so when he walked out the back doors, he headed straight for it. Kiske told the address of his destination to the driver and they were driving through a back alley and onto the main streets. It would take a few minutes to get his destination, so he spread his arms out on back of the seats.
When the taxi pulled up to the old building, he handed him the money and climbed out,"Thanks" Kiske waited until the taxi pulled around the corner before he headed up to the building and went inside. He went to the elevator and was soon being taken below the ground. When the elevator stopped and the doors opened, Kiske stepped through,"Yo, I'm back." |
"If you say so." She said with a yawn, rolling over onto her side. Bringing her legs up to her chest as she fell fast asleep. Ava had a dream that night. It was of the artist who had jumped off the bridge. Ava ran up to him, asking him to please stop and come with her. The man just shook his head, grabbed her hand to pulled her down with him. He never let her hand go, but somehow Ava freed herself and went to the top where she was surrounded by the demons each and every one screaming an ear splitting screech. One of them pulled her from the water and showed her back towards the bridge where her team was being beaten and tortured. It made her heart pump faster as she woke up in Darrien's room much later.
((Lol, everyone is asleep Raizo^^)) |
Darrien was in a chair next to the window by that time. He hadn't slept, like he had planned. He smiled slightly at Ava when her eyes opened. "Nightmares, I'm guessing? You were tossing around a lot." The sun was barely peeking through small gasps in the curtains; it was pale being early morning.
(He doesn't know that. I was going to continue on after somebody posted, like so.)
When nobody responded to his words, Kiske just sighed and walked further into the underground building,'Guess everybody is asleep. I should probably hit the hay too.' Just as the thought occurred, he let out a long and loud yawn. He walked towards his 'bed' and placed his guitar next to it, then laid himself down. He was still fully clothed, but that didn't bother him at the moment. After, what seemed like a micro second, Kiske was passed out. |
Ava sat up in his bed, rubbing her eyes. She had slept, but it sure as hell didn't feel like it. "That is kind of creepy. Waking up to you watching me." She joked a bit, looking at the time on her phone. 5:13 am. She would go running in a little bit. "Yeah, I had a few. Its nothing new though... You look like you didn't sleep at all." Ava looked over at him, blinking a few times, she was still waking up.
Darrien smiled. "I don't sleep normal hours, remember? I work the night shift. One reason I thought you staying here would be a good idea. I'd be up all night, so I could just watch." He grinned at her. "Your a cutie when you sleep, even with nightmares. You want me to turn the light on or you good with the dark for a little longer?"
She smiled a bit at him when he called her cute. "And here you are not wearing a shirt again. I swear I see you half naked more often than with a shirt." She said to him. It didn't really bother her. After all she did work in a gym. At least he wasn't four hundred pounds without a shirt on. Eye candy was much better. Ava laid back down on the bed staring at the ceiling. "Just a bit longer.. I'm still not ready for this day." She said to him. Thinking a bit to herself. "They probably wont tell me a thing. They never really do."
Darrien chuckled. "It's much more comfortable going around without a shirt. I'm sure if you did it, you'd agree..." He stopped, realizing what he just said but continued on as if he didn't say it, now glad he didn't turn the lights on. "They'd better tell you something. It'd be shit if they left you hanging, having to deal with this yourself."
Ava glanced at him for a second when he made the sly comment. It made her laugh a bit since she knew he didn't mean it that way. "Sports bra is as far as I go in public. Nice try though." Ava told him, bring her arms up and folding them under her head and closing her eyes. She decided to get up a second later, pulling the blankets off of her and sitting back up stretching. "Do you want to come running with me?" Ava asked him as she stood up and made the bed for him.
He stood as well, stretching just a little, to avoid watching her do the same thing. "I didn't mean it like that. Although..." He left it at that with a grin. He went to his dresser and rummage through a drawer before grabbing a pair of shorts. "I'll come with you. No reason to leave you alone at this point. Plus I need the exercise I didn't get from lack of work last night." He looked at her. "You didn't have to do that."
"You have to buy me dinner first! then wait a few months. That's how it goes." Ava said back to him. Just to keep the trend going. Ava on the other hand was already ready to go. She slept in her morning work out cloths to save her time in the mornings. Just so that sleeping in a bit wouldn't be an issue. "Its just part of the routine." Ava told him with a small smirk as she went about folding the blankets he was supposed to use last night. "How long do you want to go? I usually run about five or six miles, then come back by six to get my day going. Want to go that long, or something shorter? Don't get all macho on me either. If you can't do that, it won't make me think any less of you." She said with a sweet smile. Her only delema was to get back by six so she could get ready for the rest of the day.
Darrien laughed. "I'll do what you do. No worries about me and I ain't being macho. Just let me get my shorts on and we can get going. Do you want anything to eat or drink before we go?" He then thought of something. He walked over to her and took one of her hands and said, not quite in a serious way, "Ava Locke, will you go to dinner with me this evening, save for any nasty txts we may recieve?"
Ava was about to speak when he took her hand and asked her out. She was very surprised at this gesture. It was written all over her face. "I-uh.. Yes, I thought you would never ask. Yes unless anything where to come up of coarse." She told him with a small smile. "Just grab a water bottle Darrien. I'll make up breakfast when we get back. How does that sound?" She suggested. It was least least she could do for last night.
Darrien grinned, not showing his surprise that she actually said yes. "Sounds good to me then." He half turned, about to grab a bottle of water but turned back. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and then went into the main living space, grabbing his water bottle and filling it.
Ava stood shocked for a brief moment. Even though it was only on the cheek, she just wasn't expecting it. Though quickly she regained her physic and went into the main room after she was done picking up everything. Ava secretly hated clutter after all. She took her own water bottle out of her bag, just a poland spring brand one. Ava got up and waited by the door as she retied her hair. She would run slower this morning for Darrien. Her cheek was still burning a bit from the sweet kiss.
He finished filling up his water bottle and set it on the counter. He turned and seeing Ava there, smiled at her. Then he went to the bathroom changing into his shorts. He came out, still not wearing a shirt. He grabbed his water bottle. "Ready when you are."
Ava shook her head a bit when he came out not wearing a shirt. "let's go." She said turned and opening the door, holding it open. She headed downstairs and threw the lobby. They had to go out a side door since the front ones were shut. "Three times around central park should be enough." Ava said thinking out loud. They crossed the busy street. She was unsure of what to say then.
Darrien followed Ava out, locking his door behind him. He followed her down and out. "That would most likely do the trick." He put an arm around her shoulders as they walked to where they would be starting their run. "Hope you don't mind. Been wanting to hold you like this for a while...just cuz it feels natural." His cheeks brightened just a little bit.
Ava blushed a bit herself. Though when they got to the spot, she turned towards him, completely wrapping her arms around his chest and burring her face in his chest. "i know how you feel." She said, muted slightly by his chest. She hugged him a bit tighter, feeling a sudden sadness wash over her. For no real reason either. It wasn't Darrien at all. Just the thought hit her like a ton of bricks, she could loose him.
Darrien hugged her tighter, his head down on hers. He breathed in deeply, realizing that she smelled really good..."I'm glad you get it." He squeezed then let go. He looks at her and smiles a little. "Aren't we supposed to be running?"
Ava held on to him a bit longer, though when he let go, so did she. Ava had completely forgotten about running and really just wanted to go back inside and had Darrien hold her for a bit longer. No, she couldn't be thinking like that. Not with everything going on... "Yes, lets start going." Ave said stretching a bit before taking off on a small jog, stopping after a bit to wait for Darrien.
Darrien smiled at her and stretched as well, trying not to watch her do it again. He went after her and caught up easily. He smiles again. "You can go your normal pace. I can keep up. I'm not that slow."
