I'm ready if everyone else is!
I'm all set.:)
fairy and Magi?
waif - xD My cat's always doing stuff on my computer that I don't know how to do. I'm all, "That's not fair! How do I undo that?"
I'm good. I can take bites in between guesses.
Hiya First, you're just in time =)
I see that. Yay! I didn't think I was gonna make it.
I'm glad my cat doesn't like to walk on my laptop.
Hi First!:D |
The theme for this round is Flowers in Literature. All questions will pertain to a bit of writing. And flowers, yay!
Mostly my cats don't, except for Huego. *shakes head* He's so heedless!
I love books, so hopefully I'll do alright! Good luck, all. :)
Hi, shini! My cat doesn't mean to usually, but I sit my keyboard on the arm of my chair, and he sometimes gets stuck over there, and the only way to get somewhere else is over/on the keyboard.
Sorry, jusy kicked my mouse cord and the thing went flying. Ahem.
First question - you'll need to answer both parts for credit: Ray Bradbury wrote a novel in which a young boy spends a summer helping his grandfather harvest a particular flower so that he can make his famous intoxicant. What is the flower, and the name of this intoxicant? (Hint: the latter is also the name of the novel.) |
Mine doesn't seem to like the way the keyboard feels when he walks on it, so he doesn't go near it.
The novel is Dandelion Wine, and the flower is dendelion.
Dandelion Wine, the Wine (intoxicate) being made with citrus fruit
Try the spelling again fairy?
Never mind, I'm so confused. ><
Dandelion. I typed too fast!
Stupid live not posting until I did...
So who got it right? : O
XD Oh, I'm kinda' familiar with that book. I might have it on my shelf!
I LOVE Ray Bradbury. I need to write him before he dies.
I'm going to give it to fairy, since Zweres didn't say the flower name
