LOL, I don't know. I'll ask him if I see him.

Should probably take the chatter to another thread though. This one's not really for that.

Ode 05-27-2010 05:43 PM

Perdon, you can erase it if you desire! :D

Mama Juru 05-27-2010 05:44 PM

Already did :) Someone reported it to us, so swoop! Poof. Gone.

or something like that.

Saravi Boo 05-27-2010 05:54 PM

Ah, thanks Juru. Not trying to rush you guys or anything, day jobs come first. I know how that is. ^_^ I was just curious since I'm going to be away from my regular internet connection for a few days and at this rate I'm going to need all the time I can get with this event. O_o' It is a fun theme and the idea is really neat. Just wish it wasn't so borked...to use Afrodonkey's word. lol. At least you all are trying to make the glitchiness still entertaining. That is appreciated. ^_^

Mama Juru 05-27-2010 06:00 PM

Trust me, we wish it wasn't so borked either. We have been watching and "hearing" you, even though some of you think we haven't been listening. I can personally attest to the fact that Inso and the AA's (maybe not jelly at that point since she had gone to bed by then) were all piled in to a chat room last night talking about the various borks.

Wow, you guys rock (around the clock)--thanks again. I have no doubts things will be sorted soon. I mean there was an issue yesterday and today it's gone. That's amazing. :D

GrannyJ 05-27-2010 06:05 PM

Yes, thank you Juru.
I am so happy you listen to us.

While you're listening, could you do something for us poor sprocket gardeners?
I have 275 flowers, and can rarely use one. Our sprocket machine is rarely low.
I think there are too many sprocket people fixing/replenishing, and not enough gasket people to attack us.

Saravi Boo 05-27-2010 06:08 PM

Aww...we love you guys! *huggles* I'm sure you all are working really hard to fix the event. Don't sweat it. Programing and coding are pretty much unfathomable to me and I have great respect for anyone who can do anything fancy like this with it. Thus, I'm pretty patient. It'll be fixed when it's fixed and I'm sure the Mene staff will not let us down as far as ensuring everyone gets the opportunity to enjoy the event once it's good and unborked. ^_^

Yeah, Granny has a point. Maybe the Saboteurs should do a bit more damage so the other jobs will have more to do. Or the Engineer job should use more flowers per repair.....or both. O_o

Gasket got the same issue.

Lady Lunarius 05-27-2010 06:11 PM

So I have flowers but it says I don't.

Bound Birdie 05-27-2010 06:13 PM

that's because the machine is full and in no need of flowers

would there be a way to just release a massive amount of spanners for a while, maybe that will help out all the gardeners and engineers?

I was also wondering what glitches were still going on (wouldn't want to waste any currency!)

Saravi Boo 05-27-2010 06:16 PM

Yeah that does seem sort of odd to me. Is it just me or is everyone else also getting way more gears and flowers than they are spanners?

Jeannesha 05-27-2010 06:19 PM

Same here, but that just may be because for a whole day, we were accumulating the gears and flowers, but using the spanners because it was all we could use.

Mama Juru 05-27-2010 06:22 PM

I wish I could do something for us gardeners but I too have a stock pile of flowers and nothing to do with them.

Bound Birdie 05-27-2010 06:23 PM

well all I know is that I have 226 flowers and if I can't use them the whole event I'll be a little irritated, what's the point of earning currency if we can't use it at all? Maybe they could just set the machines at zero again? we would have no problem getting it back up to full

no offense jurupamae but I think you guys made this event TO easy XD did you guys get sick of people complaining they could never earn enough currency?

Genji to Heike 05-27-2010 06:26 PM

I wonder if it's because there's not enough people for now participating in the event? o.o

Maybe they're expecting a lot of us to get into the action right away. I, for one, am just hoping more of us would jump into the event as it nears the end at least.

So the donating thing is still not working?

Bound Birdie 05-27-2010 06:27 PM

I think they were just expecting a LOT more saboteurs and a lot less gardeners

anadentone 05-27-2010 06:28 PM

I don't get why people are having problems with the event. I don't have any problems with getting flowers wrenches and tickets :D although the toolbar thing at the bottom won't let me click on the links in the "links" tab :( the links won't pop up >.<

Mama Juru 05-27-2010 06:30 PM

We've heard a mix of it's too easy, too hard, too complicated, not enough commons, too many commons, the commons are ok, the commons are great, etc.

If we got sick of people giving feedback, both good and bad, we'd never have another event again ever.

Granted, there are things that are outside of the AA's control and there are things with this event that didn't even occur to us, which is why it is a learning process for us all.

I think that we try to be innovative and different but we do learn and hope that you guys do continue to see our evolution as you hang on for the ride with us.

I was able to donate flowers to Bound Birdie and I have 12 less than I did before. Are you guys seeing similar?

Bound Birdie 05-27-2010 06:33 PM

WHAT you donated to me *shakes fist* I don't need anymore flowers!
It doesn't seem to have upped my count though let me refresh the page for you guys real quick
nope I did from 227 to 240 o.O So that means the donating glitch is delt with and it seems like machines are running properly again?

Oh and in my arrogant opinion. The commons are awesome I love the style of both and we do have a large happy streampunk group here as well as the fair stuff >.< (fairy/goth is ALWAYS good) and lots of purple this time THANK YOU I always whine about there not being enough purple lol

anadentone 05-27-2010 06:43 PM

you can donate these flowers and gears? O.o Because all I want is something I pretty much have enough tickets/gold to get. :D

Rae Faye 05-27-2010 06:46 PM

It still will not let me donate. I still get Afrodonkey

GrannyJ 05-27-2010 06:46 PM

I see now what is happening.

When the engineers fix the machine, they only use 2 FP.
So even though the HP is down and the engineers are fixing the machine, only 2 fp gets used at a time.

Anybody with gardener as secondary can replenish fp with 2, Those with gardener as primary, cannot replenish unless fp is down by 4 or more.
So the secondary gardeners keep clicking at 9998 or 9997, and the fp gets full before it ever gets down to 9996.

I will sit and click and click, hoping to catch it if it ever goes down for a second, but it never seems to.

Idelisa 05-27-2010 06:57 PM

I'm still receiving the Afrodonkey error during donation for both IE and Firefox on Windows Vista.

Genji to Heike 05-27-2010 07:00 PM

I personally don't know why people complain because actually I think the event is great! I've been saying so since I started :D. The basic steps to do the goals is easy and simple enough but it's not too hard either. It's just right.

Sure, there are bugs but bah, happens. I'm sure our mods will get to those things as soon as they can.

But I still do get Afrodonkey :XD

EDIT: And yeah that could be it, we're expecting more saboteurs than gardeners but turns out not so.
