I don't see any options under the "build" command that grants me tools, does that happen to alot of people?

nocturnal miyu 06-04-2010 12:28 AM

so the professional tool sets are the same as what we were supposed to get if we donated? this includes the supposed special tool color based on your team and profession right?

orlybirdy 06-04-2010 12:37 AM

water fairy: I think someone mentioned having that issue a few pages back, and the suggestion was to clear your cache and/or try a different browser. Apparently people have had issues with Firefox and IE. I use Chrome and haven't had trouble, though that's not to say others haven't. So I'd say: refresh the page, try a new window, and if that fails clear your cache. Failing that, try a new browser.

nocturnal: Yep. There's three of each tool set--three for Gasket, three for Sprocket.

Lita 06-04-2010 12:55 AM

is it possible to get seeds back if you accidentaly built too many event items?

Sorincha 06-04-2010 01:07 AM

this is so frustrating! at first the machines worked too well, now they are too damaged. I cant use my spanners. I wish there were a middleground. the saboteurs were given too much damage power.

SnowLollipop 06-04-2010 01:09 AM

:squee: This is just alittle confusing.... I like it!

The event started on the 25th, and is ending this Saturday. We got two extensions already because of all the glitches and stuff.

Popcorn Gun 06-04-2010 02:49 AM

@ Snow Lollipop ::

Lol, is there anything I can help clear up for you.
It took me a little while, but I understood it.

Part of the reason why I didn't get it, was because I freaked out because I thought time was running out and rushed through reading the FAQ. So re-reading helps sometimes.

*Scampers into thread*

*Approves of event extension*

*Leaves present for Head Librarian*

*Sneaks out of thread*

This event,
Offically has gotten old now that both teams are not even bothering to fix the machines...

Nalah Sin 06-04-2010 06:33 AM

It's not that nobody is bothering to fix the machines - it's just that things between saboteurs and engineers were thrown off balance.

Problem is, at first it was pretty balanced points-wise, but everybody wanted to be an engineer. So a couple of engineers repaired the damage of a single saboteur and the machines were at full strength all the time (making it impossible for all those engineers to spend their gears).

So the damage saboteurs deal was increased to make up for the lack of saboteurs.

But a few days into the event all engineer and gardener spots were taken, so everybody who joined in was forced to become an saboteur. So the tide turned and now a vast army of forced saboteurs are damaging the machines with 6 points, while the no longer growing number of engineers has to repair it for only 2 points.

Popcorn Gun 06-04-2010 06:51 AM

Awww!
How sweet Yumeh!

@ Ember ::

The teams are, but right now it's about strategy I do believe.
The object of the game is to actually have some hit points in the end right?
If that's the objective, why would you waste your gears now? If it's done later, it takes away the other teams chance to shoot them back down to zero.

But I have seen people fixing the machines.
They never just STAY at zero.

@ Nalah Sin ::

Your user name always gets me.
I always think Nalin Sun.

Slowly... very slowly. It took me like half an hour to spend the last three spanners... :(

Hehe, for me it's the other way round. The first time I read his name I was like: "Wait... what???" :D

jupiter 06-04-2010 08:40 AM

No, I'm pretty sure there's a lack of "bother" now. It has nothing to do with glitches.

s w e e t 06-04-2010 12:38 PM

Lol, cuute.

And well you have to think about it this way.
If there are only a few gears being put into the machine, and a lot of people with excess spanners, if you're not quick it will take some time to use them all, and sometimes even if you are quick.
Because I know for me personally, I don't have much of anything right now.

For some people there is but not every doesn't care.
And most of the glitches have been fixed, or an alternative solution has been provided for them.

ok thnx for telling us ^__^

Not that I don't love the events here, but it seems like users have a habit of "quitting" once something seems too hard.
For instance, the yarn Christmas event.
