Doom;
Lol, why was it so horrible?

It really upsets me that video rental stores are going the way of VHS tapes.
I would love to have owned one, someday.
It's such an awesome job.

Really?
Are video game stores where I live are still quite popular.
Especially around pay day weekend.

MedievalBeauty 06-01-2010 03:09 AM

I guess that is saying something.

They sold puppies, many of which got sick and/or injured on the job. Or someone bought one, then brought back the corpse to try and get the refund after doing something stupid that was responsible for its death.

The puppies were all overpriced. Kids would get promised a puppy, and then when mommy and daddy brought them to the pet store to pick one out, they'd be quoted a ridiculously high price ($900-$4700) and they'd have to pull the puppy out of their child's arms. Sad shit.

And the management staff were just... bad people. All around bad people.

ainebella 06-01-2010 03:11 AM

beauty: i use, interent explorer, its never given me issues before

Inara 06-01-2010 03:11 AM

Seraph;
That's the only reason I'm at the job that I'm at.
I don't have a car, so I have to walk a mile to work, five days a week.
And there's only fast food joints within walking distance.

You'd probably love working at a GameStop, then.

All the Hollywood Videos and Blockbusters are dying out, here.
What with Netflix and Redbox...
They're all filing bankruptcy and liquidating their stores.
It's really sad.

Oh no...That is terrible.
The pet stores where I live, are not nearly that bad.
Puppies, and kittens here are not nearly that expensive.
That is just one poorly run, awful, over-priced pet store I have ever heard of. >>
I am surprised that stayed in buisness.
