I died my hair for a cosplay once... D; it's never fully regained it's former shade of blonde</3
But that's ok, I've always wanted red hair anyway... that's next on my color list

Hi Nocere^^

I've never colored my hair ether, though I almost dyed it blond when I was 13 or 14, but didn't.

XP
I think that is why I was afraid to dye my hair.

Nocere 06-02-2010 01:08 AM

Eirian - Hi there! How are you?

I almost dyed it black when i went through a gothic phase.
I am so glad I didn't.
My hair would never be the same afterwards.

Yeah, they're for people that want to become hairdressers, nail or makeup artists and such. They spend part of their day in class, and part of their day in the school's salon practicing their skills on the customers that come in. Most of the stuff is cheaper if you go there, but of course you risk getting a crap job done on you if the person isn't very good yet. And it is cheaper due to that risk and the fact that the students aren't being paid wages. Most of the time they do fine on me...it just takes twice the time since the teachers have to check up on them at every step of the process.

Hmm.
Well TAG here you have to take an entrance exam.
Only those who score high enough are admitted into the program.
sadly we don;t have a separate school for the TAG students.
Instead we used to have separate classes, specifically just for those students.

Some of the pros of my high school (and your TAG program, I'm assuming):
- reputation among college admissions
- AP classes, advanced courses, opportunities to take other college-level courses off-campus e.g. Columbia University
- internships and connections

THE CON:
- AJDLSKJFKSJFJDS if we don't get accepted into an Ivy League, FAILURE UGH ASJFKDJFDJKJKDJ UGH.

Amane! :glomp:

Heart_of_Aeon 06-02-2010 01:09 AM

@Seraph: ..xD; yeah... it's definitely a risk you take when you dye it. I just wish it had stayed auburn instead of fading to a dirty blond/ light brown...

Amane 06-02-2010 01:09 AM

*glomps everyone*

Ah, interesting. I wonder if there are any such colleges nearby.

Velvet 06-02-2010 01:09 AM

I'm raising tadpoles, mentioned it last night, and one of the few that has all of it's legs and gets out of the water every now and then, disappeared. I don't know where it is. ;___; and there is no way it could have gotten out.

Heart_of_Aeon 06-02-2010 01:10 AM

O: omg I've been glomped by a stranger! I feel like I'm at an anime convention!

Nocere 06-02-2010 01:10 AM

*ish glomped* Hi, Amane!

*wonders if Kings is still around?*

Oleaceae 06-02-2010 01:10 AM

Back, but now I'm going to take a melatonin and a shower. Lol.

salvete 06-02-2010 01:10 AM

That's cool! My friend was incubating chicken eggs, but there's a possibility they won't hatch. :(

EirianHikari 06-02-2010 01:10 AM

@Nocere: I'm good^^

Hehe.
yes, we do tend to get noticed a lot more on college admissions.
AP Classes, Pre-AP, and other advanced courses are given to TAG students before anyone else.

However I don't recall doing internships.
but getting scholarships, it is always beneficial.
