Speaking of stars, I need to have one named eventually...
I'd name one but I wouldn't be able to find it the next night. D:
Yes, that's it! I know that, but I never seem to remember it.
Dante: You want to name a star after someone or something? |
Blue: After someone, for his birthday.
Aww. That is so awesome. It's also really romantic! I think I'd be the happiest person on the planet if my fiance named a star after me.
Blue: He better damn well appreciate it XD
Somehow, I think he will. Actually, I know he will! I can't really think of anyone who wouldn't swoon and be impressed by that gesture. :3
anyways, back to writing notes on the murder of James Bulger
Since when could you name stars anyway? And what does it cost? ._.
Depends, there are different packages. I am going with the cheapest one (which is all I can afford) and its 100CAN
Wow...spiffy.
You can actually buy a star from a registry or something and have a deed that states that you own it and where to find it. The guy who named Pluto named several celestial bodies after family members.
I would but I have no one to name a star after so yeah. xD
I have someone I would name it after, but not enough money for even a basic package at the moment.
How much is 100CAN in dollars? Anyone know?
My mom bought me a stuffed unicorn that comes with a name a star package.
It's not something I'd ever pay for. You can't own a star. Just point to one and name it. Better yet, make a super awesome constellation! :D |
I want to have one named after me some day, but for now, I will name this one. Even if this person is no longer part of my life, I still will do it, since I promised him and I used to tell him all the time the only place for him was in the stars and that when he was lonely to just look up at the stars, knowing that at least one other person was looking up at them as well, so he was never completely alone.
Its about the same as 100USD. They are pretty close right now. |
Y'know what the most horrible about this case is? How a whole city of grown ups can forget that the perpetrators were just 10 year old kids, not monsters, and there's gotta be something seriously wrong with their parents or life in general if they actually go as far as murdering!
But I guess it's easier to call them monsters and not look at the general problem that societ needs to look to a bigger and bigger amount of parents who don't know how to take care of their own kids... |
96.3855 USD
I have a stuffed unicorn that is covered in stars. O_O |
So like....you got to name a star then, Cookie?
-Hugs Dante tight.- |
Dante, that was lovely. So poetic. I'm tired right now, so I think it was even more mushy than it would have been if I was more awake. <3
@Pol - I never bothered, because you can't own a star. Who's to say that someone in China hasn't already "bought" and "named" said star. There's no reason to believe that anyone, but the company you forked out money too, will know that you named a star. You'd be better off buying air really. I'd rather make a constellation. If I put it online enough, maybe they'll pick it up. How about Longcat constellation? :D
Silly Cookie. It's not so much....okay, for some people it is....but not all...it's more about what they put behind it, not necessarily that they think they own it and such.
Cookie: I'm glad you can't really own a star. They belong to everyone, which makes stars even more romantic. Mainly, I just like the idea, because when someone "buys" you a star, they are saying something like, their love for you is bright and shiny. :D
Why'd you wanna own a big ball of burning gasses anyway? O_o;; Mei does not understand
