and then you can nom on something non-human, lol. ^_^

scholar 06-05-2010 08:20 PM

@Yami: WOW. Have you flown?

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:20 PM

*noms salv* but salv is tasty!

I'm not a pilot..... I actually hate flying

scholar 06-05-2010 08:20 PM

@Yamiko: Oh, sorry. What other jobs do people do in the air force?

Eyea 06-05-2010 08:20 PM

Power hour!!!! XD

salvete 06-05-2010 08:21 PM

I don't have a final list of colleges I'm going to apply for yet, but it's probably going to be filled with prestigious or reputable or Ivy League schools.

----------

Nuu I no ish tasty. D: but I gave you permission, so I guess I must endure this!

scholar 06-05-2010 08:21 PM

@salvete: Good luck! So you're a junior, then? Did you take SATs, etc, already?

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:22 PM

salv is very tasty! *noms*

I'm intelligence

scholar 06-05-2010 08:24 PM

@Yamiko: For a moment I read that totally wrong, but now I get it. I guess you can't really talk much about your work, then? My mother's boyfriend just retired from Lockheed, and all he would ever say was vague things about the box he was working on, that would go on a satellite...

Eyea 06-05-2010 08:24 PM

Salv is genius type person?

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:25 PM

I brief people on how not to die, pretty much all there is to it

lunanuova 06-05-2010 08:25 PM

There aren't any skirts in the event store... is there?

scholar 06-05-2010 08:25 PM

@Eyea: Appears so! I think we get a good number of them on Mene, in comparison with other forum sites.

@Yamiko: I'm glad you do that! The fewer people we have dying, the better.

Ja, and I did horribly on all of them.

...well, not horribly compared to the rest of the U.S., but I'm scoring lower than some of the other juniors, lol. While certain others are scoring full 800s on their subject tests, I'm getting 700+. While certain others scored 2300+ on their SATs, I only scored 2250+. -_____- At least I got a full 800 on my SAT Writing section really easily, no one can beat that. I'm a grammar nerd, or nazi as one of the seniors calls it, lol.

Are you in high school, if you don't mind my asking?

Yes, there are tulip skirts. ^_^ and "proper skirts," I think.

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:27 PM

yea.... I hate briefing aircrew, they're idiots

I remember takin the SAT I got a 2400.....

lunanuova 06-05-2010 08:28 PM

Oh yes, the tulip skirts, which are the other skirts? +_+

scholar 06-05-2010 08:28 PM

The SAT in my day was out of 1600, and I got like a 1520.

On the GRE I got a perfect on the math, 700-something on the Verbal, and 5.5/6 on the writing, which pissed me off as I thought I wrote the silly persuasive essay very well.

UGH. See? I fail.

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:29 PM

The 'proper skirts' are on page 9 I think?

salvete 06-05-2010 08:29 PM

Although you do need to take into account that the average scores for the SATS are now much lower than before. Apparently, the SATs used to be a lot easier.

Yamiko 06-05-2010 08:29 PM

I actually feel like an idiot most of the time cause my dad's IQ is around 200

salvete 06-05-2010 08:30 PM

My IQ is not that high, I have to work for everything I do, while some of the other people in my school are just naturally smart and have legacies at Yale and whatnot.

scholar 06-05-2010 08:31 PM

@salvete: In my mother's day they were apparently harder. I think people are learning how to take tests better, what with all the standardized testing in schools.

@Yamiko: My dad was a genius, too -- he never had his IQ tested, but it was clear he was a genius. (*misses him*) I'm smart, but not *that* smart.

lunanuova 06-05-2010 08:31 PM

Thanks anime. Although I'll have to find some other kind of skirt I think.
