No, everyone gets the same event items, regardless of team.
|
aww that's sad :(
|
@MarMar - OMG! I took my mom out to have those the other day. The service was awful. Service is never good at IHOP! And there wasn't much cheesecake going on in my pancakes. =/
@Yuu - Both headquarters work the same. |
thx for the info guys :D
|
Cookie dearest: Seriously? That sucks! The local Denny's near my house...night service sucked when I went with my mom, but then again it was nighttime. I can't remember if that place is 24-hour or just open late. But did the cheesecake filling taste good? I seriously cannot remember because it's been so long. I don't particularly like diners anymore though - although they're really homey, the tables are usually sticky with syrup.
Yuu-Cute: No problemo, chica! (I have no idea where that just came from) |
AFK :3
|
@MarMar - I've pretty much come to expect crappy service at IHOP and sadly, I am never disappointed. The cheesecake filling was ok, just not strong enough and my mom didn't get much of it at all.
You know, I feel like I should make some crepes for breakfast....I just might! |
back <3
---------- i'm playing Mene games in the mean time so sorry if i don't response <3 |
The i hops around here aren't too bad.
Can't decide on what color to wear now, lol -.- |
I've been to quite a few IHOPs across Louisiana and I always get bad service! It's crazy! It's like they see me coming and decide it's time to suck.
|
Crepes are good! Apparently a crepe place opened up in one of the very Asian areas of my city. Maybe IHOP in general has bad service & low-quality food. I mean it's all pancakes, mostly flour, eggs and butter isn't it?
|
@Cookie, That's the way I feel about McDonald's, lol.
|
I like McDonalds (I won't lie, I do.) but after growing up, sitting in the restaurant and being near the playplace seems icky.
|
Gwena loves McDonald's too, I always perfered Chick-fil-a.
|
@MarMar - Oh, you should go try them. The crepes I had in Japantown in San Francisco were some of the best I've ever had. And I ate crepes in France! :D Well, maybe it was the fact that I loved the stuff they filled their crepes with. So yummy!
Yeah, IHOP really isn't a high class place and their staff probably isn't paid enough, but it doesn't take that damn long to make pancakes. @Eirian - I don't judge all McDonalds everywhere. Because with fast food in general, some places are fine and some suck. I love Taco Bell (I used to be a manager at one). But I hate the Taco Bell by my house. It's a mixed bag. It usually sucks and then every once in a while you get decent food. And it's the same at most places, sometimes they're awful and sometimes they're not. The service industry is really bad about the SERVING part these days. |
I'm curious, are you and Gwena sisters?
|
dinner <3
|
@Cookie, mmm, I love taco bell^^
@Mar, yep, we are. |
I used to like Taco Bell chalupas but recently they changed how they make their stuff (I don't know how recent, just so happens my friend's dad picked some up for us randomly last month) and it's like...not even good anymore.
OMG I'm such a fatty. Then again we always talk about food here. I'm gonna start working at a casual French bistro though. Originally my cousin set up an interview for me to work at a higher-class French restaurant but my other friend and I never got a call back. So she called me today and I guess that's how I got my job? I'm not even 100% sure I'm hired, lol, she just said OK you start training Tuesday. Eirian: Okay that makes a WHOLE lot of sense now! Cookie dearest: Fine I'll go get crepes when my homegirl comes back from Oregon (I don't know how to drive in that area - it's traffic murder). |
I never did like the chalupas. It's just the flat bread from a gordita fried and I never cared for how it changed the taste of it. I'd rather eat them as gorditas. We use the same sauces on them no matter if they're fried or not. I love Mexican Pizzas :D Hell, I liked a lot of stuff on the menu. I liked to make my own things when I worked there. The Grilled Stuft Caesar Burrito (a limited time promotional item) was definitely one of my favorites though :D
Anyway, I'll be back in a few minutes, I'm going to make my crepe batter now! :D |
Taco Bell and Chick-fil-a are my favorites, Gwena loves McDonald's and Dairy Queen, She and my parents also like Logan's Roadhouse too.
|
Cookie dearest: I've never tried a gordita. What's a gordita?? Have fun cooking and lemme know how it goes!
Eirian: I've never been to Chick-fil-A but I think it recently opened up near my college. What's it like? |
Mmm crepe sound like an awesome idea.
Mar-Mar: iHop is alright I guess, I have only been to the one in Texas, but since I come from Montréal, I am really not a fan of Table Syrup. What is amazing however is maple syrup. Nothing quite compares to the taste of true Maple Syrop. It is definately something you need to try (: |
@mar, The chicken is the only meat I've ever had there, and It's got crispy parts to coding, and it has a slight sweet taste, at least the one we go to does. They have some good waffle fries and a great cheesecake.
|
Dante: I miss Canada. I had so much fun there :D Didn't get to try real maple syrup though. Is it sweeter or does it have a different texture? I'm not too fond of syrup in general because it makes my pancakes soggy...more preferable as topping for eggs and sausages : )
Eirian: I thought it was a vegetarian place. Guess I was wrong. Crispy parts to coding? What do you mean? It's just really good & crispy? |
