Here's what I don't get - is there really much motivation to actually, y'know, DO your JOB? Can't you just keep exchanging your profession's currency for tool sets?

I think that in order to get the seeds, you have to either do your job or a mission. The seeds are apparently going to be the currency to get the fancy event items. You can trade them in for credits to use in the event shop, too.

I think the incentive is that if your team's machine's HP/FP aren't high enough, there won't be an event rare to get? So you do the job to make the machine good enough for the rares to come out? I'm not clear on that either but I think I remember reading it in the FAQ.

and i agree there are a lot of items that are awesome but the gunbelt is the best. of and the flower head stuff... i still need to collect enough gold for those. but i got the gun belts in my main account. this is my mule
