There were two kitties nearby where I live - they're really friendly though or at least one of them is!

They're so nice to look at though! I've never had one though they cost a stupid amount of money to get o___o Plus I love my mixes!

Siamese cats do have that reputation although I have a.. great-step-aunt [lol] that has a Siamese cat and he is the friendliest thing ever.
Sometimes I think he's retarded though, because he's so hyper and sometimes when he looked straight at you he goes a little cross eyed. xD

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:17 AM

I don't think cats should cost so much. ._. The cuteness should be for everyone.

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:19 AM

If only life were actually kind. ;p

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:20 AM

Yup..but that will never happen. xD

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:20 AM

So true. ._.

OH MY GOSH! I just remembered - my friends had a Siamese and he tended to do that too! But we'd just laugh at him cos it was adorable in a funny way!

And yeah cats shouldn't cost so much but it's all about how interbred they are... err I mean pedigree and papers and all that? Yeah! XD

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:21 AM

Yeah..and inbreeding will eventually HURT them. D:>

Makes me sad.

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:23 AM

At least they don't end up like inbred dogs that tend toward violence when they're like that.

I distrust dogs.

BoomBoom 05-25-2010 09:26 AM

Yeah - that's why we get tiny muffin sized dogs... dogs of that size can't fend for themselves if something happens to the humans. Baah! It's not that they bend toward only violence it's that we cause them health problems by choosing to keep defections - like bulldogs have breathing problems!

OH AND Vercingetorix I POUR SOME SUGARS ON YOU!

Bah I know too much about breeding, and I don't know where it comes from!

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:27 AM

Mm, no, there are some dogs that are inherently violent. Pitbulls, for example. German Shepards are another.

Those dogs are like that one f'king person at your work or school that you never make fun of because you know that one day they're going to snap and bring a shot gun to school, and you'd rather not die a gruesome death.

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:30 AM

THe pitbull in our area is a sweetie. I learned they aren't mean if you don't treat them badly.

BoomBoom 05-25-2010 09:32 AM

I dunno, I had a pit-bull when I was a little girl and she was the kindest most sweet funny creature I have ever had the lucky chance to have in my life!

My mother says she let me pull her mouth open to show people her teeth, she let me tug on her tail and ride around on her - and he just let me and didn't even mind even if I was being a little poo like all kids!

Pit-bulls are good honest dogs - we took care of her and she never threatened anyone - in the end some bastards poisoned her. People are the terrible evil creatures, not the dogs themselves!

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:33 AM

D8 WHAT!? Poor thing. I'd kick those peoples butts!

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:33 AM

Uh uh. They can snap at any moment. Story time !

I have a cousin that had a pitbull when he was younger. It was a good dog, as far as dogs go, and he loved it. One day, when he was chatting to it [he was younger at the time, but not horrible young, probably around twelve], sitting closely beside it but not irregularly close, it was something he did often. Out of nowhere, the dog reared on him and bit him in the head. His hair still doesn't grow on that spot where he had to get stitches. :\

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:36 AM

Thats horrible. Sure anything wasn't done to it to trigger? maybe not by that family...maybe before them?

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:37 AM

Yes, people are more evil than dogs but dogs are more dangerous.
See, when people attack you, unless they are 'off', they will have some amount of hesitation. Animals however, like dogs, just flip out and fight with all they've got.
It's like fighting someone when they've lost their temper, they're uncontrollable.

Yes, I'm sure it wasn't provoked. Attacks such as those by pitbulls especially are reported all the time. The simple truth is that dogs eat people and I do not trust the things above me on the food change.

BoomBoom 05-25-2010 09:38 AM

I wouldn't just hate dogs though... they don't suit me but if I had to take a sad little pup in I would! XD

Vercingetorix 05-25-2010 09:38 AM

Yikes. Hopefully our dogs don't do anything to my little cousin. D:

Were not mean to them.

Harley Q 05-25-2010 09:39 AM

I'm going to hit the sack now. Hopefully I won't dream of dogs ripping me, limb from limb. ^^;

It was fun chatting with you guys, enjoy the event ~
