I have been mowing lawns and raking for extra cash, so it's a workout in itself, ahahaha. Unfortunately, I have some injuries that will take time to heal..u__u

And a mosquito bit me! I went from lunch with the family to working, and just had a normal v-neck t-shirt. Well, I feel this little prick, and look down and see a spot of blood on my white t-shirt. I open it up and peek down at my cleavage to find this massive bug.

And, I wonder...Since females are the ones that collect blood to lay eggs, what do the males do?

mewmew07 06-05-2010 02:05 AM

I have no idea on bugs. I don't know anything except that some of them are helpful at eating other bugs or something. But they all creep me out.

I just burned 100 calories on the bike and gonna do my arm exercises later tonight. Those are the easiest.

jupiter 06-05-2010 02:12 AM

I have weak arms. They're like noodles when I exercise, lol.
I don't mind them too much if I don't have to fight them to get something I need. If I have to fight through webs to get to my fridge, there's a problem. I don't like them in the shower, or anywhere near my bed. Bees aren't bad, but I do not like moths or gross beetles.

Most of the time I try to catch things with a cup and herd them outside.

mewmew07 06-05-2010 02:17 AM

I HATE, HATE, HATE anything that flies. Bees, moths, flying cockroaches. Even birds, I know they aren't an insect, but they fly and I hate them.

And just cockroaches in general are one of the bugs that I hate the most.

I think I have strong arms. right now, I am only lifting 5 lb weights since that's what we have and we've had these weights for a while. And I don't wanna go buy new ones when we have these ok ones. That, and I am not training to be a body builder, just to make my arms more firm and toned, so I don't need like 100 or 200 lb weights.

teehee
I have friends that hit the gym religiously. I just couldn't do it. And I'm sure we have weights and workout videos somewhere around here, but I've always been one of those people who goes for a hike instead.

I was doing a little workout with my mother some years ago and found it to be incredible. Everything slimmed down surprisingly fast.

mewmew07 06-05-2010 02:30 AM

What was the workout?

You're probably one of those that really doesn't need to work out. I have one of those irritating "friends" who eats whatever the hell she wants, like Mcdonalds and crap like that, and is like 100 lbs. And she doesn't work out either.

Sometimes I feel it. The girls of my family are a little odd; we keep active by walking downtown a lot, or taking strolls and going out with friends. Our legs are fine, but all the weight situates itself in the mid-section. In the long winter months, we start to look like tennis balls on a pair of chopsticks, ahahaha.

It was called "Power 90" by some trainer named Tony. He was about fifty or so in the video, but incredibly ripped. The workouts consisted of a small warm-up with stretches and a few easy moves, then it would get into cardio. Things like kicking, punching, sometimes running in place, that sort of thing. It takes about half an hour, maybe an hour, and you're sweating balls by the time it's done.

I remember being in track that year, so I was pretty prime. I thought I was hotshot and went for an advanced setting on the video and it felt like I died, ahahaha.

mewmew07 06-05-2010 02:41 AM

I have heard of that workout. He has two other workout dvds, P90X and 10 minute trainer. His workouts look like they burn a lot of calories.

jupiter 06-05-2010 02:45 AM

Oh gosh, do they.
There's one part in the end of the video we have where he targets your abdomen. You do 100 sit ups. Ten sets of 10. One is that bicycle crunch, one turns you on your side to get the obliques, one has you stretch your legs straight up and you reach to touch your toes, etc.

They're really great. My mother did the entire 90 days and dropped off a lot of weight.
And I'm pretty sure she could kick me through the wall if she wanted to.

mewmew07 06-05-2010 02:57 AM

Did your mom manage to keep off the weight? If she did, then that's a great workout.

jupiter 06-05-2010 03:49 AM

Mmhm. She looks fabulous.~
The new art in your signature is cute!

mewmew07 06-05-2010 03:51 AM

Thank Crane!

Wow, that's great! She must be skinny now.

jupiter 06-05-2010 04:05 AM

As much as she'll ever be, really. Her thyroid medication can be thrown from time-to-time, which makes it hard to control your weight.
And she had three kids.

mewmew07 06-05-2010 04:41 AM

Well, as long as your mom is happy about how she looks, that's the main thing.
