I've had one of the cats who owns me 'gift' me with part of a mouse brain before. I wasn't all that happy, sadly. I'm not fond of brains or much of the other internal organs. Those that like them swear by them though....

Well, when you have a mouse infestation, you kind of stop thinking of them as little pocket pets and more as pests, like cockroaches or ants. Just bigger and furrier.

One time my aunts cat caught a baby snake and brought it into her house to play with it.
I also had a dog that killed mice, but she didn't eat them. |
I agree about mice generally being pests, but... bloody parts on my carpet isn't fun to clean up. Especially when the cat is being 'nice' and leaving you whole bloody bits to eat because they love you.

@dragoness, etc: Our cats are all indoor now, but our first cat, the mouser, was indoor + balcony, and she'd bring them in from the balcony. Now they just bring in honeybees and cockroaches, and of course they kill the spiders.

My mother's house gets mice all the time. It's like they're drawn there or something.
