Does anyone have a recommendation for a good avatar site?
Maybe I'll join it/re-join it if someone would be willing to show me around. ;)

I just stick to mene. Avaricia seemd pretyt nice. i would like to get back in Solia, but I always felt kinda outcasted there. #_#

I just want a backup site for when Menewsha is being slow. :)

crysandrea's new and doesn't have a lot of places to chat, but the donation items are great and that site's only going to get better.

Ernya's ok but I don't talk there hardly ever. The people are a bit annoying unless you can find someone you already know from here or solia like I did.

Solia's got great items but they're growing almost too fast to keep up with.

Subeta's kind of like a mix between neopets and an avatar site. They have a vector avatar though, but the items are almost infinite. I don't know how the forums are there because there's too many games and things to do there for me to get into the chatting too.

I mostly stay here and solia, with the occasionaly game playing on Ernya.

I'll check out crysandrea for sure! I'll log back into Solia and check it out, but I know there was a reason I never really got into that site. Lol, can't remember what it was though...

I feel the same way about Ernya. I really couldn't get into it.

Sorry, I can't remember the name either.

The only reason I got mad at Solia and left for a little bit, I know a guy that got warned not to have nudity in his art gallery. It was woman's top half but didn't have nipples. He objected, claiming it was within guidelines for the site, and others defended him. Eventually he got banned, can't remember why, probably for fighting with them.

Recently a person in the art gallery has had almost complete nudity, nipples included, which would violate the terms, but nothing's been said to him and he's extremely popular on the site. I don't have a problem with him, and I happen to love his art, but it's just one example of the hipocrasy that sometimes pops up there...

But don't let that stop you from going there, the site is still pretty awesome.
They finally have games there even though they said they wouldn't. One's farming, and the other is a pokemon-like pet catching game. I can't really get the hang of either, but it's cool the stuff they've tried doing with the site. Very professional. And their events are okay, nothing like they are here.

I feel that most other sites treat people like outcasts if you haven't been there a long time.....I do recomend staying clean of Gaia though....

Haha, yes. I quit Gaia and have not looked back. :)

That happens on sites sometimes, it is quite saddening. >:

I only stay on Gaia because I know two people in real life on there, and I can talk to them there. And I like some of their items, and I can go on zomg and not have to talk to any idiots... other than that, the site annoys me and I hate their constant adverstising.

Solia's definitely hard to get into if you don't already know someone there. They're pretty clique-y. I might not even still be there if it weren't for the fact that I'm friends with every moderator now because they're all oldbies.

That's because, for some odd reason, no one else really chats in other threads much other than solia's discussion forum, the hangouts, the exchange and some charities or quest threads, and mostly the Town Square. If you don't talk in the Town square there, you aren't gonna get noticed. The other forums are almost dead.

people chatted there, but they looked at me freakily when i came into the threads of others.. I was there before Mene and that "omg, i probably shouldnt go in random threads" followed me on Mene for a while, too. D: If I hadnt come back to mene during Circus, I probably wouldnt be able to get in community here, too. >:

I have an account on Solia too but I don't go on there. I just made one because I liked the avatar base and their items. I did 2 of their events haphazardly a long time ago.
I don't find it as nice as Mene.

@Cora: Your outfit is cute. ^^
I really like how well the fading rainbow goes with the cloud background.

@sad: Well I guess with the growth of Mene things changed quite a bit.
