Fact: College is for partying, not learning.

dragoness129 06-04-2010 01:19 AM

College online is only learning.

@Kirin: I failed the same freshman level class four times. Also, I wasn't really getting anything else from college. It was becoming a bit unbearable.

@Sato: =) I am the epitome of humility.

ah.... that makes sense... i wish I could afford to go to community college

Isagi Sato 06-04-2010 01:19 AM

Of course you are dear. *pats Tip's head*
and your brother is a saint

Vix Viral 06-04-2010 01:20 AM

I got bettter grades when I skipped 1/3 of my classes all semester than when I went to every class

LOL

dragoness129 06-04-2010 01:21 AM

@ Vix - Some people do better learning different ways, like studying on their own or learning from the classroom. It all depends on your learning style.

Vix Viral 06-04-2010 01:21 AM

*is the laziest student on the planet*

----------

I don't study either

Bonnie 06-04-2010 01:22 AM

I've been on academic probation twice and am now suspended for a semester. I hated that school anyway. I'm probably going to go somewhere else when I get off the suspension or appeal it. I could care less really, I already have a job in my field and I don't really need a degree for it...

Tipping Top Hats 06-04-2010 01:22 AM

I never went to an actual college party in the entire three years I was there... the closest were some D&D sessions where the DM and a married couple had some drinks. *laughs*

@Sato: Oh, absolutely. We're good little christian children. *nods seriously*

@Kirin: So, likely I'll be online more often. =) Kinny is switching to part time so that he can help me out.

@Vix: I wish I could have had that sort of attendance record. Private college takes stuff seriously. D8>

dragoness129 06-04-2010 01:22 AM

I do not study either, I just read the classroom notes posted each week and do the assigments based on the guidelines.

Be right back, got a stinky girl.

ah... *huggles* Maybe we'll get to meet now.

Vix Viral 06-04-2010 01:23 AM

@Tipping. I go to a private college too.

Tipping Top Hats 06-04-2010 01:23 AM

@Kirin: Here's hoping! I've kept the earrings safe. =)

----------

@Vix: Geez! Yours must be pretty neat to be flexible on attendance. Does it have a good art program that includes metalsmithing? Where is it? XD Is it cheap?

Isagi Sato 06-04-2010 01:25 AM

@ Tip: I know! XD I wish I could be as good as the two of you.

Cool. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thinking of them.

Vix Viral 06-04-2010 01:26 AM

@Tipping: You could miss two weeks worth of classes before Academic Advising was notified. I missed a lot more but my teachers loved me so they didn't care.
No, New Hampshire, and no.

Tipping Top Hats 06-04-2010 01:26 AM

@Sato: It takes lots of dedication. *nods* As much as it takes to learn Sexy Necromancy.

Kirin Rosenbaum 06-04-2010 01:27 AM

*goes and sits n the corner*

blueblackrose 06-04-2010 01:27 AM

Hello everyone.

Tipping Top Hats 06-04-2010 01:27 AM

@Vix: Darn. =[ If I missed two weeks worth of classes, I would fail the classes completely-- but not because of bad grades. It'd be because an entire grade was lowered for each absence after three.

Hey there.

Vix Viral 06-04-2010 01:29 AM

Hey Rose.

@Tipping: Most professors here don't really give a shit so long as you do your work which I did. I just couldn't stand sitting in a classroom.

Tipping Top Hats 06-04-2010 01:29 AM

@Kirin: I just hope that spending time wrapped in tissues hasn't damaged the patina.
