What does she mean by getting the network fixed. Is that Mene related?

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:05 AM

no, her home wireless network is what she said. :|
I guess she's using a laptop?

Is it the one with the blonde haired dude singing in front of a lot of goblin like creatures and a teenage girl sneaking around a maze? Because I saw a youtube vid with that in it.

XD No, that's Labyrinth, not Pan's Labyrinth.
Labyrinth has David Bowie in it and was more of a fantasy/comedy/musical.
Pan's Labyrinth was created by Guillermo del Toro (the guy who directed Hellboy) and was fantasy/horror.

@Crimson_daffodils_Layla Here is where I read the story a few weeks back. I'm posting all three parts since I'm not sure where the roller coaster one came from. 6 Circles of Hell - Gaijin Smash 6 Circles of Hell Part II - Gaijin Smash 6 Circles of Hell Part III - Gaijin Smash

Poke'Bro 05-28-2010 01:06 AM

Guillermo del Toro...correct spelling
My spelling: Guillmero del torro

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:06 AM

so then what's Pan's labyrinth?

Xandriana 05-28-2010 01:06 AM

I'm having a hard time with this event. Couldn't get on yesterday and so I haven't figured it all out.

Home wireless network as in all contained within my home. Nope I just wasn't able to get online until i fixed it.

D : I'm having the weirdest glitch right now.... I can't see Poke'Bro's, Acobjum's, or Rad's avi.

<< and instead of Acobjum's, I see mine. >> IT's so weird.

LadyKnightSkye 05-28-2010 01:08 AM

@Layla: Pan's Labyrinth is a Spanish language film about a little girl who lives with her stepfather who is a general in Spain's army during World War II. The film is about her adventures in Pan's Labyrinth. I would give you more details but it's been a couple years since I've seen it.

Okays...Mine is blue/red/gold and funtastical underworld resident
Gotta go now

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:11 AM

Pan's Labyrinth was advertised in the U.S. as being a child-friendly fantasy flick... it's not.
I heard there was some high-ocatane nightmare fuel in that movie. Definately not for kids.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:11 AM

Acobjum: still reading them, should be done in a few mins. The vomit part=GROSS

LunarShinobi 05-28-2010 01:11 AM

I've never seen Pan's Labyrinth.

Poke'Bro 05-28-2010 01:13 AM

General smashed a mans face in repeatedly with a bottle until the mans nose was more than flat, his face was indented. Thats all you need to know. Made me sniffle! Bah horrible...but it's a cool movie so far.

Xandriana 05-28-2010 01:13 AM

I saw the stuff for Pan's labyrinth it looked like a rip off taking imagery from a few 80's fantasy movies.

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:13 AM

it's not part I.

Poke'Bro 05-28-2010 01:13 AM

Xan, go watch the orphanahe by Gui. del toro, they produce really cool films

Also, you CAN say that about P.L
But keep in mind that the half ass avatar movie was nothing more than cowboys and indians

venus_starshine 05-28-2010 01:15 AM

I really enjoyed Pan's labyrinth. It does have a bittersweet ending as stated but, it is done very well.

Poke'Bro 05-28-2010 01:15 AM

aight, REALLY gotta go now

Crimson_daffodils_Layla 05-28-2010 01:15 AM

venus_starshine 05-28-2010 01:15 AM

Bye Poke c:

Cara Tachi 05-28-2010 01:15 AM

As far as scary movies go, I always liked What Lies Beneath. It's more suspense than horror and it's got Harrison Ford in it. :3

Later Poke!=D
